The interior of the ship was bigger than looking from outside.
Tables and chairs everywhere as if there was a celebration.
Elisa and the Queen stood at the entrance with awe.
"What's going on here?"
"Don't ask me. I know nothing."
None of them had expected this. The lights suddenly put out,
leaving a single light at the stage, focusing at a single man.
He then spoke.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please take your seat!"
Everyone did. Elisa and the Queen sat at the furthest.
"Today is the third anniversary of this ship's birth. And we'd
like to thank everyone who supported us by riding the only ship
here in Kerrie's Beach. To show our gratitude, please enjoy the
travel discount and some meals prepared by our most finest
chef!"
He clapped, followed by everyone. Roasted turkeys, chicken soup,
and just about everything were on those tables.
"This isn't the reason why you brought me, right?"
"No."
Looking at the foods, they dug in. Elisa didn't take any
breakfast anyway.

As Aeon was watching the knights run around the casern, the
sub-captain decided to speak but somehow... he was really
nervous.
'Oh... hum... By the way... hum... actually, we should head to
your temporary office..."
Arriving in front of a big front door, we could read
"Knightmaster Elisa". Opening the door, Aeon froze.
"Explanation. Brief. Now!"
Huge stacks of documenting were piling all around the room/
"W-Well, hum... Since Lady Elisa was promoted... She became...
hum..."
Looking at Aeon's icy glare, he changed methodology.
"Those are the budget for new armors and weapons supply from
three months ago, the deadline was 3 weeks ago, here you have
the bill from the Blacksmith. The documents over there are the
report from the last investigation in Archimedia, we should have
submitted it to higher authority 1 month ago [...]"
"..."
"[...] we also need to order some rocks, the protective wall
around the castle is weakening and starts to crumble and we were
asked to fix it since last month [...]"
"..."
"And also..."
Aeon had enough and decided to stop him.
"Why are those documents still here?"
"Well, I tried to go through as much of them as possible... but
it accumulated and..."
Aeon put his hand on the sub-captain.
"Must be tough..."
Even though Aeon said it without a hint of sympathy, the
sub-captain started crying.
"It is!"
"I'm counting on you in the future too."
"Huh?"
Saying this, Aeon left to see how Sirion was doing.
As he walked away, he could hear the sub-captain crying even
louder.

"Phew... I'm stuffed."
Elisa ate those meals and had completely lost track of time.
Thinking on how much had she ate, she drank a glass of water.
"Aren't you eating?"
"I am. And I care about how much I've ate."
The Queen ate slowly. Elisa stood and told the Queen,
"I'm going to sleep."
"But Silver Land isn't that far from here."
Ignoring the Queen, she headed to the door.
"Ahem... May I have your attention, please!"
A middle-aged man in black with long hair was talking on the
stage. Everyone looked at him before he continued.
"I hope that everyone had their meal! Be grateful, because this
will be your last meal."
He wore a black glasses, followed by some people among the
passanger. These people took out revolvers and swords, which
sent the rest of the passangers in panic. Some of them wanted to
run, but their attention turned to the man on stage when he shot
to the sky.
"SILENCE!"
Nobody wanted to die, so they stopped moving.
"Everyone in this ship are our hostages now! Dare to escape, and
you're dead!"
The Queen sat and froze there under her hood, hoping that they
couldn't recognise her.
Elisa had watched everything. Couldn't care less, she walked to
the gate. It was then blocked by two men wielding scimitar.
"Where d'you think you're going, missy?"
"To bed."
"Oh... Let us accompany you..."
His hand was an inch close to grab Elisa, which she unsheathed
her rapier, sliced his body, stabbed the other guy and sheathed
her rapier. All happened in 2 or 3 seconds.
Everyone stared at Elisa, as she turned her attention to that
man.
"Are you here to ruin my day?"
"Of course..."
"Then I shall ruin yours!"

"One, Two! One, Two!"
All the knight were shouting in unison, they were neatly
arranged, striking the void with their sword under Aeon's
supervision.
"Too slow, it's lacking conviction, if a war occur, the Queen
will fall in no time."
Having observed Kanavan's knight on a few occasions, Aeon could
tell how weak Serdin's Knight were. But it was expected since
Serdin doesn't have a warrior tradition, theye were mainly
relying on their powerful mages to deal with problems.
"Take a break !"
Some knights crumbled on the ground exhausted. Elisa was an
exceptional swordsman so it was kind of strange to see her
knights fall on the ground like this. How are they training?
While he was thinking, someone came to him.
"Captain Aeon, bad news! According to our informant, some thugs
boarded a cruise that left for Silver Land ! Some noble boarded
that ship too!"
Silver Land? Isn't it where she...
"Let it be."
"Huh?"
They'll regret it soon enough... poor them.

"Get down!"
Elisa shouted, ordering every victims to get under the table.
She grabbed the nearby forks and knives as projectiles, throwing
it to him. He successfully parried them with his scimitar. But
he had lost sight of Elisa, which he realized that she was just
above him. Elisa had her rapier prepared to make a heavy slice.
He prepared to block her impact, but got tricked by some knives
she threw. Blocking those, he jumped backwards to avoid her
rapier.
As she got to the ground, she forced herself to jump forward and
swings her rapier to the left. He blocked it, drew his revolver
and fired at her head. She was lucky to have dodged it, but
unlucky to get kicked at her ribs and flew to the rear of the
stage. He shot three bullets, which was seen and countered
swiftly. She moved away from the spot and stood a little further
from where she got up.
"You fought well, missy... You must be a trained knight." he
said. Elisa stood there in silence.
She walked to him slowly with her rapier drawn. Not stepping
back, he just stood there without any fear.
"I'd like to not waste any energy fighting you, so..."
He took out some kind of switch. That made Elisa stopped
walking.
"A switch to activate the bomb we planted at the engine. Once
pressed, we all will be fish food. So drop your weapon, missy."
She had no choice but to drop her weapon, which was taken by
another thug.
"Tie her up, and lock her in the storeroom!"

The Avenger... Elisa was indeed very strong. Strong enough that
in a country ruled by magic, she would become revered as a hero
through her swordsmanship. But Aeon knew how she really was : a
selfishly loud lazy bum and worst of all... she was
unpredictable.
"Sirion, please allow me to use the Royal Airship !"
Aeon entered the court loudly and said this abruptly, everyone
froze upon hearing his comment.
"What foolishness are you saying, you're just a gardener, the
Royal Airship is for the Queen's personal use only!"
"Indeed, and calling Lord Vindinct by his first name! He should
be punished."
"Because you're temporary a captain doesn't mean you can do
whatever you want!"
Since everyone's eyes were focused on Aeon, Sirion used sign
langage to communicate with Aeon.
Why this one? I can get another one ready within an hour...
It had to be that one, it was the fastest, Aeon trusted Elisa
but if something were to happen (to the Queen), it'd be
bothersome.
"Alright, I'll make it ready."
"Lord Vindict?! What kind of nonsense are you saying? Because
you're the regent for a few days doesn't mean you can use Her
Majesty's belonging as you please !"
"This commoner will probably never get in an airship in his
life, I'm just magnanimous !"
Aeon knew Sirion, he didn't mean it. But all the noble around
him started laughing.
"Thank you very much for your kindness, I'll depart
immediately."
As he bowed once more, someone spat on him.
'Whoops I'm sorry, I thought it was an insect crawling on the
ground and I wanted to drown it with spit..."
What kind of excuse is that? Aeon was disgusted by this place
and left without saying another word.
"What's that ?! He dared to ignore me? Even though I said I'm
sorry !"
Aeon closed the door behind him and headed to the armory, since
it was an emergency, he would use a different weapon than usual.

She was dragged by two armed thugs along the hallway and soon
enough, they reached the storeroom.
"Enjoy your stay, ****."
He kicked her inside and locked her up. With nowhere to escape,
she needed to inspect the area and blew the door away.
~Meanwhile~
The Queen and the rest of the passengers were tied up at the
main hall. Some of them tried to untie themselves, while some
just sit back in fear. The leader of the thug stood on the stage
and took a microphone.
"Ladies and gentlemen! We'd like to thank everyone for
surrendering to us and doesn't fight back."
The Queen stare at him with her vicious look. She actually
wanted to, but completely powerless right now.
"I suppose we should tell the reason why we took over this
ship... We received a report that there's someone important
boarding this ship right now. That person is what we've been
looking for. The person who rule Serdin, the Queen herself!"
He spoke with such pride. Everyone looked and talked to each
other in confusion. The Queen froze at her place, as her heart
beating faster.
"We'll be doing a little inspection on everyone here. I'll leave
it to my men..."
He left the room as the others started to inspect the
passengers.

Aeon boarded the ship carrying his weapon in hand with a bit of
nostalgia. It has been so long since the last time he used it.
While he was recalling his past someone came to him.
"So where should we go?"
It was the Airship's captain. Aeon could hear disdain in his
voice, he was obviously displeased to be called by someone other
than the Queen.
"Silverland... we need to catch the ship that left this morning
as fast as possible."
Nodding the captain left. And within a minute, the Airship left
Serdin, it was indeed really fast. They'd catch the ship in no
time.

"Damn..."
Elisa had to break the door down. But without any explosives or
anything that can blast the door open. She sat at one on a
wooden box.
Completely forgotten that her hands were tied, she tried to
loosen it. She then heard footsteps outside. As it gets closer,
the door was unlocked by two thugs.
"Get out."
She walked out of the storeroom, showing emotionless face. They
dragged her to the control room to see their leader. She had no
idea what will become of her and the Queen.

"The cruise in in sight !"
They finally caught it! Aeon whispered a few words...
"Falcon eyes..."
It was a magic spell created by elven archer to improve their
eyesight with mana. With it, Aeon was able to see what was
happening on the bridge and his fear came true; a lot of hostage
gathered in the bridge and among them he could see her : the
Queen.
"Where is she?"
Even though he could spot the Queen, Elisa was nowhere to be
seen, as such he could only ready his weapon but couldn't act
yet.
