"That seems a little harsh..." Aaron responded to Kayla's
comment as the female clerk were about to guide Ariel and her
company to their rooms. The male clerk then guided Aaron to his
room.
"Tch... women."
"I do not mind, really... Thank you."
Aaron entered his room and walked to the patio, gazing up at the
moon. He held out his sword, which began to glitter yet so
faintly under the moonlight. He blinked a few times, being on
the lookout for the "light".

I can finally relax, now that they're gone...
Reiyanne gave a sigh of relief, all the muscles in her body
seemed to have been tense through the rather short ideal. She
was a tad embarassed, thinking back at her forwardness to have
them removed. That's not really like me, either...seems every
new adventure I discover something new about myself. She gave a
small smile but it quickly dissipated off her face when she
turned and gave a small nod to Kayla, in reply.
"Yes we should...and good night Aaron, sleep well"

"Night Aaron~. And let's get some shut eye!"
(The room came with two beds. Both divided by a nightstand with
a lamp on it. A table on the other side of the room. A window
next to the bed in the left. Window l Bed l Nightstand l Bed
Table down there V)
Kayla walks over to a bed near the window and sits down on it.
She starts taking off her boots and muffler and lays them on the
floor. Ariel follows Kayla and sits down on the same bed, she
reaches inside her hood and undoes her ponytail. Then she
carefully takes off her hair ornament and earrings with the hood
still on. She sets them on a nightstand next to the bed and lies
down.
"My, My. Looks like Ariel's sleeping with me. And do you really
have to keep that hood up? Aaron's gone you know."
"..."
"You honestly can't be comfortable like that."
"..."
"So your not going to tell Reiyanne?"
"No, not yet."
"Why not?"
"I'm tired."
"Hehe, ok then. I'll wake both of you up early so we can have
our chat~."
"Okay."
"Oh I can't wait >w<. I'll make us some snacks while we talk
too.
"That would be nice.."
"Well time to go to sleep. Rest up Ms.Reiyanne. We'll be waking
up extra early tomorrow~."
With that being said, Kayla lies down next to Ariel and covers
them both with the blanket. Then they both drift off to sleep.

Reiyanne sat down quietly on the other bed after taking off her
boots and vest. She shook her head as her mind wandered back to
her friends at home and her dog, Chestnut. She sighed, knowing
it couldn't be helped anymore as she started to lay down. Her
decision was made and she had to stick to them no matter what.
Turning so her back was facing the two girls, she quickly
drifted off to sleep.
"Yea, good night you two..."

Aaron blinked a few times as he scanned the city; all seemed so
peaceful, even though the light was the "main attraction" to the
continent and ruckus would normally be about. "Thankfully no
trouble stirs within the night. This would be an ideal time to
meditate; tune my mind." Aaron muttered as he squat down, legs
crossed and his sword held to his lap as it points to the skies.
His eyes closed, entering a peaceful, quiet state. "... One must
be still, like the flow of water... A clear mind improves ones
ability..." he muttered as everything went black around the
object he last gazed at: his sword. The weapon seemed to reflect
the moonlight's rays, which Aaron could notice in his state; his
mind was clear as it focused on the object.

*rustle, rustle*
The carriage was moving slowly making a path through the
irregular road, lightly shaking regularly.
When the carriage stopped, Aeon opened his eyes; he fell asleep
during the small trip. Looking around him, it was still daylight
and obviously, they didn’t reach their destination yet. They
were surrounded by a small group of highwaymen. Each of them
them hiding their face while holding light weapons such as
daggers or short swords. Looking at their precise formation it
wasn’t the first time they did it.
Ten people… no eleven; someone else was hiding behind a tree,
probably an archer. He was probably aiming at Tom in case he
tried something bold.
“I guess you pretty much know what to do !”
Taking his purse, Aeon threw it but he already knew he had to
take it back, he hid the Queen’s seal inside, it wasn’t
something he could afford to lose.
Weren’t it for the archer, Aeon would have rushed to them but he
didn’t want Tom to be hurt.
Just like this, Tom and Aeon were letting those thugs take their
money for their displeasure. When they left, they kept silent
for a while. Unusually, Aeon was the one who broke the silence.
“I’ll go after them…”
“Son… it’s too late… they were very well organized… you won’t
find them in this thick forest.”
“No one can escape me in the forest… where should I send the
money back?“
Tom sighed and took a piece of paper with an address written on
it… somewhere in Ellia.
“Take care son, it was nice to meet you…”
After nodding, Aeon parted with the merchant and entered the
forest. Even though he never went in this area before, he felt
at ease, the forest was his domain. Among the Saint Black, Aeon
was definitely not the most powerful but when it came to
tracking people, he was without a doubt the best.
Gathering mana, he spread it all around him, allowing him to
trace and feel all the recent movement around him. He found
them, but they were unnaturally fast… They must had prepared
horse beforehand… or someone used magic to make them run faster;
hopefully it was the second case, because at some point the
magic would run off…
According to the trail they were heading southwest. Wasting no
more time, Aeon climbed a tree and jumping swiftly from tree to
branch to branch, he started pursuing them. While he needed to
catch up with them, he couldn’t go to fast, if he was too noisy
or too close from them, they might notice him. He had to wait
for them to reach their hideout, there; their sense of security
would make them careless… While running after, Aeon took
something from a pocket, a black earing shaped as a cross… their
symbol. It was a habit for him to wear it when he was on duty.
The silent pursuit went for hours until finally, they stopped
allowing Aeon to catch up with them. The sun was setting and it
was harder to see around. It was the perfect setting for Aeon.
According to the small map he was carrying, he was on a mountain
range southeast from Kanavan territories.
Finally catching up to them, Aeon saw a small clearing and the
entrance to a cave hidden by a tree. It was most probably their
hideout.
Hidden in the wood, Aeon waited for the sun to set, observing
any possible movement. But there were none, they were probably
busy sharing the spoil.
Then when the moon was full, he decided to act.
Entering the cave, he moved cautiously, trying to look for
traps, since no one was guarding the entrance, it meant that
they must have had an elaborated security system. And he was a
right; look like all the missions he did so far was useful. The
cave was infested of traps from all sorts of trap, and advancing
through them was arduous. He finally reached a small room and
found them, the leader holding the seal close to him. The room
was stinking of alcohol… I guess finding the seal was a bless
for them… to the point that they all fell from drinking too much
and now… it was time for them to meet their father. Remorseless,
Aeon quietly killed them in their sleep one by one. The world
would be better without them anyway. Taking what was his, he
also took a purse randomly and put some GP inside randomly.
Leaving the cave, seeing how late it was, Aeon decided to head
to Kanavan’s territory. Even though it was hard to see it on his
face, he was really annoyed since it was delaying his plan. But
he couldn’t get impatient and fail his mission because of it.
How many times was he told that resting was as important as
acting? He lost count of it.
When he arrived near the city’s entrance, instead of entering
through the guarded main gate, he climbed the wall and entered
without getting found. He then went to the nearest inn and went
to sleep without eating.

Minutes of searching the bar with no luck, she decided to head
over the New Kounat. It was said that there were residents
living there now. She headed to one of the carriage, which was
about to leave. It was full.
"This cart is heading to Kounat?"
"Sorry, it's full."
"Is that so...?"
Time to use a seductive method...
With that, she placed her hand on his chin and lowered her tone.
"Wouldn't you like a lovely young lady to sit next to you, hm~?"
His face turned red after hearing that.
"Well, hop onboard!"
With that, Elisa sat next to him at the front as the horse
pulled the carriage. Men nowadays were easy to trick.

BOOM!
A small, but loud explosion rocked the Central District. Shrieks
and yells from unsuspecting people nearby filled the air, but
were blocked out almost completely by the explosion. The small
blast left an equally small crater in the middle of the street.
The only one standing, the red-headed girl who went overboard.
The only victim, the knight who provoked her.
Leila coughed and jumped back on her feet. "Ardea..." she began
in a scolding tone.
Ardea cut her off with a nervous chuckle. "I... w-went a little
too far, didn't I?"
"A little? Look at that crater! The guy you punched probably
almost died!" Leila took a quick glance in her bag and pulled
out a slightly cracked potion bottle. "How am I gonna sell
this?!"
"H-he asked for it!" Ardea retorted, "Now let's go before the
smoke clears. I don't feel like getting in trouble with the
guards."
With that, they ran into the inn.

Aaron's meditation and concentration was disrupted by a loud
explosion. He opened his eyes and heard shrieking and yelling
coming from the central district of the area. There was a small
crater in the street, and a red-haired girl and her accomplice
went into this inn. Soon, guards came in to investigate the
scene. Aaron exited his room and went the lobby, looking about
for the two women from the top of the stairs. A guard soon came
in.
"Everyone okay? Something sudden went on. Please, stay inside
while we investigate. We are sorry this had happened." he said
and left without even bothering to search the inn for the one
who created the mischief.
"Quite the ruckus one could made... Perhaps the person acted out
in self-defense..." Aaron muttered to himself as he blinked once
after eying the red-haired women.
"They might have gotten away with the event... But that matters
little to me... What happens next ends up by her choice."

"We're almost at the Kanavan territory. Anyone who wished to
stop here may prepare."
"Kanavan territory?"
"Yep. The dwarves doesn't like humans, so there are only few
places that we can access."
News to Elisa, she decided to stop at Kanavan territory first.
As the carriage stopped, all of the passangers got off,
including Elisa.
"Aren't ya gonna head to Kounat, my lady?" he spoke nicely to
her.
"Not yet. I need a plan, and also some rest."
"Then allow me to bring you to the inn."
He was being nice all of a sudden. Elisa then saw the same kid
from before jumping off the cart, without paying.
"Hey kid, you didn't pay!"
"Don't worry. He's with me."
"Then it's free of charge!"
Elisa told him to rent a room while she followed the kid. It
didn't take long before he disappeared in the crowd again. If it
wasn't for the crater, she would had caught up with him. Elisa
was busy looking at the crater instead of the kid. She then
realized that he went missing.
"On my, I missed him."
Shrugged, she headed for the inn.
