Aaron coughed a bit. He looked up as Reiyanne's rage and anger
had overcome. The pain within Aaron's lower body could not help
him on his feet. He took a few health potions and waited idly
until the effects of the potions took in.

Reiyanne was breathing hard as she kept attacking. She was
incredibly tired but her body kept going in its rhythm. Her
eyes, her vision was blurring as she leapt again and again.
Eventually her body gave out and she landed unconscious.

"... Such uncontrollable rage... Powerful, but dangerous." King
Arawn remarked. He was on his leg, weapon down, taking in deep
breaths, in a defeated manner. Everyone on the battlefield
       looked exhausted.
"King Arawn, let us disclose for the day. We are all exhausted
and at our limits." Aaron pleaded.
"Hm... I must have gotten carried away from the adrenaline rush
of combat. My apologies to the young lady. We must all rest for
the upcoming epic battle. Please, enjoy your stay, Kanavan and
Serdin." the soldiers of Kanavan, Serdin, and Thunder Hammer all
quietly left, the former two with bruises that hampered their
movement. Aaron looked up at King Arawn.
"King, I am Sir Aaron of Kanavan. While I may not be enlisted in
the ranks of their Royal Army, the Queen had highly recommended
       me."
"I must agree with your Queen's decision. Your knowledge and
ability is remarkable indeed. Please, enjoy your stay within
       Thunder Hammer."
"If I may, King Arawn, take the injured Lady Reiyanne into the
       medical room."
"Yes, the young lassie looks tarnished and worn out after our
long battle. The infirmary is thataway."
"Thank you, good King. I must say, your kindness and power is
fit for such an honorable role..."
Aaron carried Reiyanne into the castle's infirmary. Three Dwarf
medics quickly tended to her and another three quickly went to
       work on Aaron's injuries.
"Please, good sirs and ma'ms. I request for a book of the
Balrogs from your library." Aaron asked. One of the doctors
       nodded and left.
"Oh Aaron... I'm so glad you're okay..." Lily hugged and cried
on Aaron's chest. He patted her for comfort.
"I promised you that I would be all right. And, I am also glad
that you are here to care for me, too." the knight said, kissing
her nose. She blushed and turned away. Seven minutes later, the
doctor from before passed the book that Aaron had requested. He
nodded in thanks and started to read it.

Blue looked deeply distraught as he followed Aaron into the
infirmary. After the medics had attended to her wounds he pushed
his way past them and gently touched her hand. He looked up and
down her body then settled on her sleeping face.
"Reiya..." he whispered softly, his voice was shivering as he
spoke trying to hold back tears.
"Oy! Blue! You left me to carry these things!"
Blue swung his head to see Lyra, breathing hard and sweating as
though she had ran a marathon. In reality,it was the strenous
effort of carrying Reiyanne's mace and shield. "Seriously!" she
groaned dropping the heavy equipment to the floor. "No wonder
       she's a warrior! I-" Lyra paused as a tear fell down Blue's
cheek she then walked over and ruffled the boy's hair, "Hey it's
going to be okay, you know Rei, don't you? Always bouncing back,
and did you see the look on her face as she fought! She looked
so awesome too!" Lyra smiled brightly as Blue nodded slowly in
reply, smiling a small smile. He then looked back at Reiyanne
uneasily. Lyra sighed then scanned the infirmary and noticed
Aaron reading a book. She strode over and embraced him, wrapping
her arms around his neck then said, "Heeey, Aaron! Great fight
out there! What's that book you're reading?"

Aaron quietly muttered the words of the book to himself,
entitled Balrogs: The Demons of Hell. Ironically, he already has
a copy of the book in his bag.
"Balrog: The devil of ancient times. Outfitted with large wings,
precise eyesight, a set of curvy, crooked horns, sharp claws,
and deadly magic, it is a feared monster known to wreak havoc
amongst great warriors and villages, as well as ripping large
airships into two." the knight muttered. He quickly flipped
through the pages until Lyra hugged him.
"Heeey, Aaron! Great fight out there! What's that book you're
       reading?" she said.
"Oh, Lady Lyra. Do you remember those creatures that destroyed
the Airship?" he said, hugging back and gently kissing her
       cheek.
"This book describes them, or at least what researchers had
uncovered. I have a copy of the book in my bag if you would like
       to read it." Aaron said.
"By the way... Lady Reiyanne will be all right, I assure you. I
happened to survive the dangers, twice actually. If I survived,
then she would also survive as well." the knight told her as an
act of comfort. He quickly resumed reading the book.

"Oh, Aaron, you're such a charmer," Lyra said giggling pulling
away and gently punching him in the shoulder while touching the
cheek he kissed. She then reached into his bag and pulled out a
similar book. She skimmed through pages then spoke"I see...ah by
the way, I'm not worried about Rei, that much. I am primarily a
healer, if something was wrong then I'd know, trust me!" She
paused and at Aaron winked before turning her head to Blue. "Too
bad, I can't convince him. Oh well, still to naive, I guess.
It's kinda cute though, don't you agree?" She then shook her
head. "Anyways that's obviously unimportant, so still studying
those ugly things are what we're up against? Disgusting."
Reiyanne opened one eye and slowly turned to see the wide-eyed
boy beside her. Blue excited opened his mouth to speak. He then
closed it and opened it and finally giving up he threw himself
nd embraced the older girl as she sat up. Reiyanne winced in
       pain but then smiled warmly.
"Hey, you, go back to sleep! Stubborn girl!" Lyra exclaimed
teasingly, "get back to rest! There's no way in hell, I'm
letting you get up so soon!"

"Oh, Aaron, you're such a charmer~" Lyra stated with a giggle.
She then went through Aaron's bag to find the same book he was
       reading.
"I see...ah by the way, I'm not worried about Rei, that much. I
am primarily a healer, if something was wrong then I'd know,
trust me! Too bad, I can't convince Blue. Oh well, still to

that's obviously unimportant, so still studying those ugly
things are what we're up against? Disgusting." as she said that,
       Reiyanne slowly woke up.
"Hey, you, go back to sleep! Stubborn girl! Get back to rest!
There's no way in hell, I'm letting you get up so soon!" Lyra
       teased.
"Good evening, Lady Reiyanne. I hope you are feeling better
after that ruffle." Aaron told his friend. He then looked at
Lily and Amber, who were apparently napping. He then returned
his attention to the book he was reading. Near the end, he found
       a few ripped pages.
"Odd... This book has a few rips in the pages. Wait, Lyra could
I see that book please?" Aaron asked. He looked through his own
book to the exact same page; the rips were there, too.
"This does not seem like a coincidence. The exact same pages as
well as the exact same rip marks are present... Lady Lyra, could
you please cast a dispel charm on these books please?"

"Ah! Easy for the wonderful, Lyra!" she shouted as she twirled
in place. She then held her hands over both books and after
chanting a few words, the books flashed in a burst of light and
       smoke. "Hah! Easy!"
"That's weird," Reiyanne whispered. "That looked too easy, like
       it's been undone before..."

After Lyra dispelled the book, the missing pages were revealed.
A purple chain symbol on the pages broke, and Aaron proceeded to
       read them.
"The Balrog the Ancient: the strongest, most deadliest and
lethal Balrog of all. It was too powerful to be destroyed, so
our ancestors were forced to seal it within the depths of
Archimedia. We fear the seal shall weaken, and one day the
Balrog will spring loose, repeating history..."
"... Aside from a picture describing the appearance, this is all
that was written... At least we know what we are up against..."
       Aaron muttered to himself.

"Heh, Aaron," Reiyanne said, lying back down, "you kinda remind
me of my sister, she also used...well she was also quite
       knowledgeable."
"Hey..." Lyra said sullenly, "you really don't bring her up
often...why do you say that now...I mean! It's not a bad thing,
       but why...?"
       "Oh! It's nothing...for some reason...I had a dream about
her..." Reiyanne sighed then looked up at the ceiling. "It
doesn't matter, that's for another time." She then looked at
Aaron and yawning said, "so before I rest again...what have you
       discovered, Aaron?"
