Aaron threw a few more of his crescent blades at his opponents.
One of the Balrogs landed and made a dash for him as an attempt
to grab him, however he quickly leaped to the side and threw his
energy wave as the beast skidded to a stop near the edge of the
airship, causing it to fall off. He saw another one of the
demons preparing a flaming blast, however it was shot down by a
boy atop the mast.
"Hm... Even with the few of us fighting, there is far too many
of them." Aaron told himself after dodging another sphere.
Suddenly a large hand grabbed him and pulled him into a portal,
reappearing into one of the Crimson Balrog's clutches. This one
was much larger and had a white skull on its head, signifying
its commanding officer rank. The beast roared loudly and spat a
sphere at direct contact, creating an explosion that broke off
Aaron's helmet. The beast roared once again as it had begun
preparing another blast from its mouth. Just then, numerous
piercing arrows impaled the creature's arm and hand, causing it
to drop Aaron into the depths of the dark clouds. A "woosh" was
made as the knight was picked up from the sky by a Harpy and
dropped him off back on the ship.
"Lily, Amber, thank you for your aid." Aaron replied to the Elf
who shot the Balrog and the Harpy who rescued him.
"I'm glad you're all right! I was worried right after you left!"
Lily said as she hugged her friend, crying on his chest.
The commanding Balrog angrily roared, ordering the creatures to
regroup. It then performed a runic spell which healed its
comrades. It roared once again, commanding all the Crimson
Balrogs to restlessly attack the airship with their magical
blasts.

Reiyanne watched Aaron's safe reappearance and moved over
towards his group. Her energy was dangerously low and her vision
was beginning to blur. She stopped a few feet away from and
collapsed to her knees. She opened her mouth to speak then
stopped as the leader Balrog roared. A shining light enveloped
the other members then soon after once battered and beaten
Balrogs rose to the skies again.
"Shoot..." Reiyanne groaned. "Is there ever an end?!!"
"Reiyanne!"
A soft blue light enveloped Reiyanne, Aaron and his companions.
After it dissipated, Reiyanne's energy was restored and Lyra and
Blue came running up behind her.
"Thanks, Lyra," she said quietly.
"Hahah, no problem!" Lyra beamed then shot a glare at Blue,
"Blue...jeez what am I going to do with you?!"
Blue shrugged and smiled innocently in reply then made a yell
and pointed, "Look out!"
A Balrog had charged at the group, and in almost perfect unison
the three leapt into the air. Reiyanne had managed to land
beside her hammer and taking it in her hands she swung and
knocked out ten Balrogs out of the sky. Blue and Lyra also began
their own attacks, Blue showered them with arrows and Lyra
devasted them with lightning spells of her.
"Ugh!" she exclaimed then pointed her hammer at Aaron, "if we
keep fighting, they'll just keep coming back! If my observations
are correct, then taking out the leader would be our best course
of action, correct?"

Aaron felt exhausted until he was revitalized by Lyra. Right
after that, one of the Balrogs broke formation and charged,
however Reiyanne swung her mace like a baseball bat and scored a
"home run" by knocking out ten other Balrogs. Blue and Lyra
returned fire as well as Lily with her arrows and Amber
diverting the enemy's attacks with her wind.
"Ugh! If we keep fighting, they'll just keep coming back! If my
observations are correct, then taking out the leader would be
our best course of action, correct?" Reiyanne exclaimed.
"In ordinary cases, yes. However, these are Demons, and
generally the majority of them do not retreat even with their
leader down... They would still stand strong and fight." Aaron
replied. He noticed that the head Balrog casted a group healing
spell, restoring the energy of its comrades.
"But, it appears that only the leader can perform the healing
spells..."
Aaron climbed the mast and prepared himself at the top. He
charged a massive crescent blade and threw his Halfmoon Slash
attack, wiping out the majority of the Balrogs and destroyed the
helmet of the leader Crimson Balrog. It roared furiously and
channeled a massive sphere that absorbed all the other Crimson
Balrogs. It then created a powerful explosion and smoke; Aaron
shielded his eyes. When it came to, a massive Crimson Balrog
roughly the size of the Albatross. It then absorbed power from
particles of the surrounding crimson skies.
"Brace yourselves!" Aaron yelled to his comrades.
The Empowered Crimson Balrog spat a massive laser a split down
the middle on Albatross, tearing it into two. With the ship
critically damaged beyond repair, it started to fall out of the
sky into the vast blue ocean. The Balrog seemed to laugh as it
vanished into the darkness, and the dark crimson skies subsided.

"Reiya!" cried Blue as he leapt over the expanding split of the
Albatross. Reiyanne wrapped him in her arms and held him
tightly. Lyra had also manage to get to the same side and
holding onto whatever sturdy thing they could find they all
braces themselves for the coming impact. A light spray fell upon
them as the ship made its first dip into ocean below. As it
continued it's descent beneath the waves the ship began to break
apart even further. Blue held onto Reiyanne tight as she made
leaps through the falling debris and after the entire ordeal
managed to land safely on floating wreckage.
"Oh no!" Reiyanne whispered. Blue leapt from her arms and looked
on horrified the remaining parts of the Albatross mades its
final farewelk before disappearing entirely into the ocean.
"Rei...what about Lyra... and everyone else-" Blue was cut off
as Reiyanne pulled him into a comforting hug. She laid her head
onto his as he stifled tears as he leaned in close to her chest.
"Rei...I'm scared..." Reiyanne didn't respond as she stared off
at where the Albatross once flew. Her face was expressionless as
she observed the floating wreckage and the flotsam. Staring,
hoping, for any new signs of hope on the horizon. She looked
back up into the sky, clear now and the sky had clear of the
beasts.

Aaron, on one side of the Albatross, clung onto the ship's side.
He spotted Lily and Amber on his side with Reiyanne, Blue, and
Lyra on the other.
"Amber! Please take Lily into the skies!" Aaron yelled.
"But... Aaron...!" Lily said with worry.
"Go! I promise I will be fine!" Aaron responded.
Amber nodded and quickly picked up Lily. She screamed her
friend's name as the Albatross fell into the abyss. After the
loud "splash!", Amber landed on one of the giant pieces of
wrecks near Reiyanne. Aaron fell into the cold ocean, spotting
numerous survivors struggling for their life. He tried to save
them while dodging the falling wrecks, however one chunk of
metal the size of a large boulder landed on his chest. The
boulder slowly pushed him down until he managed to struggle
free, however the struggling used up most of his air, and he was
rendered unconscious. His body slowly floated to the surface of
the ocean, near the pile of wreckage where Reiyanne was on.

Reiyanne blinked and released Blue as she reached for the the
body floating close to the wreckage that she and Blue took
refuge on. She had recognized his face immedietaly as she
dragged him onboard. The young man that laid seemingly lifeless
onboard was, Sir Aaron. She stared at him for a moment then laid
her head down on his chest.
"He's alive," Reiyanne said seriously then kneeled down and
proceeded to press on his chest firmly, trying to revive him.
Blue watched her quietly then gasped and reached into his
pockets, after some digging around he pulled at a small vial and
handed it to Reiyanne, "Try this, Lyra made this potion so it
should have some effect." Reiyanne nodded and smiled as she
poured a few drops of liquid down the knight's lip. Then she
moved back and waited.

Aaron's eyes slowly opened after drinking the potion made by
Lyra. He coughed a bit and blinked, staring at Reiyanne.
"Tastes like cherries... Thank you, Lady Reiyanne and Sir Blue."
Aaron smiled warmly. Lily jumped onto the wreckage and held
Aaron in her arms, crying.
"Oh Aaron... I thought I lost you..." she said.
"I told you, dear Lily. I would be all right." Aaron replied. He
spotted many of the survivors clinging onto the wreckage.
"There are a few survivors scattered within the wreckage. They
seem all right, though. Hopefully we do not freeze up, like what
had occured in the Titanic..."
Five minutes later, a few rescue boats from the northeast came.
Survivors shouted for the dwarves.
"Oy! What the hell happened here?" one of the drivers asked.

Reiyanne stared at Aaron for a moment then averted her gaze as
he was pounced by his elf friend.
Then in a quiet murmur Reiyanne said, "Consider my debt
repayed...Sir Aaron."
Help came relatively quickly, and soon rescue boats appeared
before them. Reiyanne looked away as they barked a question at
them. All the rush and passion of battle was gone and the shy
ghost of spirit filled her completely.
"Sirs!" Blue shouted, noticing Reiyanne's change, he spoke in
her stead and told the people on the rescue boats, the attack of
the Albatross and its fall. The drivers nodded and following
Blue, Reiyanne climbed onboard a rescue boat. She noted how the
driver seemed to have froze up as she past by and sighed. Other
refugees also gave her uneasy looks as she sat down. I guess
because they're all shaken up, my prescence have a greater
effect on people, she thought, frowning a little. Blue placed a
hand on her shoulder trying to comfort his older friend but
whether Reiyanne noticed or not it did little to affect her
mood.

The young Blue spoke in Reiyanne's stead, explaining the
previous events. The drivers nodded with what appeared to be
fear in their faces. Aaron, after climbing aboard along with his
comrades, looked at Reiyanne, noticing her cold, dark
expression. First, Aaron told the driver to look for Lyra,
giving a detailed description of her, and then turned his
attention back to Reiyanne.
"Lady Reiyanne... It was the recent attack that had shaken up
everyone, rather than your ominous expression. The Demonic
Balrogs were indeed frightful, and Humanity as well as the
Dwarves had always feared the return of the Demonic Sieges upon
the world. Even one demon can stir a colony of mortals." Aaron
told his new friend as an attempt to comfort her.
"Oy, Demon Balrogs you say?" the driver's assistant asked. He
then motioned Aaron to come near so others would not hear.
"You had seen and fought the bastards, did you not?" he asked
again. Aaron nodded.
"'Tis our worst fears had come true. The seal of the Balrog the
Ancient has weakened yet again. One of the many demons that we
all fear shall soon awaken."
"Balrog the Ancient... I hope we can reseal it in time." Aaron
responded. The dwarf nodded and sighed.

Reiyanne looked up as Aaron approached. He spoke to her in an
attempt to comfort her. After he was done however Reiyanne felt
her soul floating away. She had specifically focused on the
words "ominous" and "feared". She stood up shakily and trudging
past Aaron like a zombie she moved a short distance then
collapsed on her face. The other refugees stared at her in
horror as she laid there motionless repeating the words
"ominous" and "feared".
"Rei-Reiyanne!" Blue cried as he knelt beside her, he then swung
around to and gave Aaron a worried expression. "I know you were
trying to help, but please be more gentle with your word choice
around, Reiyanne, until you really know her! She may look scary
at times, but she can be really self conscious too!" After he
was done, Reiyanne still on the ground turned her head towards,
Blue.
"I'm scary..." she said the words rattling past her lips slowly.
She was smiling but her slate blue grey eyes were as dim and
cold as a winter night.
"Gah! No! Reiyanne I didn't mean...gah!"
