BEFORE REGISTERING
READ THE RULES
Obviously you need to read the rules. But read them till the
end. If you have any questions, ask the moderators. If they
can’t answer, then ask the admins. Never ignore the rules.
TREAT OTHERS WITH RESPECT
We would like to restrain members from disrespecting others. If
they break the rules or anything that’s irrelevant, please tell
them politely. We do not want vigilantism or elitism to develop.
NO IRRELEVANT STUFFS
We’d like to keep the forum clean. This means no inappropriate
pictures, words, etc…
ADVERTISING
Yeah. There would be no advertising something irrelevant.
Especially those bots. Remember to report if there's any.

CHARACTER REGISTRATION
In this section, you can register your created character.
There's a few rules in making them. Read them thoroughly.
APPROVED CHARACTER
The character that's approved goes in here. Oh, do save your
character's link somewhere so we can find it easily.
OOC
OOC stands for Out of Character. You can have discussions with
your friends about the RP. Talk about the story, plots or
anything that's related.
OFF-TOPIC
GRAND CHASE DISCUSSION
Here, you can have a little talk about the main game, Grand
Chase.
ELSWORD DISCUSSION
Some say they're related. Some say they aren't. Talk about it in
this section~
VIDEO GAMES
Separate from the main game. You can talk about anything that's
not Grand Chase or Elsword.
MANGA/ANIME
This is a special section for otakus. Jump into the conversation
with other otakus.
MUSIC
Some of you may love music. Well then, this is the place.

GENERAL RULES
[list][li]Your signatures need to be small. Big signatures can
trouble others to load the page and may results in client crash,
slow loading, or unable to load. Maximum size is at 600 px wide
and 200 px high.[/li]
[li]There are already some divided sections. Remember to make a
topic/post that is under their sections. Don’t trouble
admins.[/li]
[li]Make use of the search tab. Some topics may be related to
what you’re about to post.[/li]
[li]Do not spam. Some of us are quite lazy to read those while
we’re gone.[/li]
[li]We are role playing 400 years after the Grand Chase era.
This means, that there will be no Elesis and the gang, including
Sieghart. This is to extract more creativity from everyone.[/li]
[li]Consider spell check and grammar check. I know some of you
don't have the best grammar as I do.[/li]

AFTER REGISTERING
It's best to say hello and introduce yourself in the Say Hello
section. We wouldn't want to see some unknown and random guy
came in and post his character without getting to know better.
After that, take your time implementing your character. Have a
little talk with the members around here. Make friends. Most
importantly, is that everyone can have fun. This forum is meant
to be fun~
CREATING YOUR CHARACTER
Since we are revolving in 400 years after the Grand Chase era,
we do not want resemblance, descendents, or anything that is
related to the Grand Chaser. We'd really like to prevent this
from happening, as it may bring conflict someday. You are only
allowed to make one character.
There is no limit in creating your character. But restrain
yourself from godmodding. They will not be approved at all, so
keep it reasonable. Consider this... if the ability required
automatic control of the other character or gleaming intricate
personal knowledge it will not only be a very powerful ability
but also a hard one to facilitate posting.
If you’re making an elemental class, you may use only one
element type. Water and ice are varied as one, but not water and
lightning.

If you feel like your character's boring, you can have a little
planning with your friends to kill it. But please remember this,
RP is meant to be fun. And death is not fun.
Most important of all, we're all here to have fun~ So be
creative when you're making them. After you've finished with the
draft, you can post them down and wait for approval.
I'M READY TO MAKE A STORY
Well, who says that there's no rule in making them? First of
all, we'll be talking about the main storyline. This focuses on
the current events posted in the News section.
This RP begins 400 years after the Grand Chase era. There will
be a new event every three weeks after the end of the previous
one. Lots of thought need to be put on this one. The details
about the events will be posted up in the News section. You are
not allowed to create a thread in this section. Everyone can
join in the fun~
If you want to make your own story with your friends, it's best
to post in the Subplots section. In this section, everyone can
create their own story.
Before making one, you need to have a little planning. Talk
about it in the OOC or in the chatbox provided. You can't start
without planning, right? What you need is to come up with a
title and plots. After making those, you can start right away.
When you're planning to end the story, PM us and we'll be
prepared to lock the thread. Give us the link to prevent any
trouble.
THE WAY OF LITERATURE
It is recommended to use third person view, as it gives the
RPers wider view of their character. It shouldn't be hard, as
most of the literature uses this. To learn it, read more books
that contain such.
Below is a little example of third person view, and we wanted
that.

surprised to see Death in from of him. Taking the souls of the
dead, Akira falls to the ground, shaking. "W-w-what the heck!?"
Shouted the trembling boy.[/quote]
Grand Chase is famous with its battle system. In order to
attract people, fighting is allowed in the RP. Some rules still
apply while fighting.
There's no limit when fighting an NPCs.You yourself can control
the NPCs you're fighting.
PvP is different though. As stated earlier, we do not want to
see any godmodding. Please remember that. Also, you are limited
to put in a few moveset (one to three) and give your opponent
the chance as well. You cannot decide whether the hit landed on
your opponent or not. Let the owner decide what will become of
their character. Either to take the hit, dodge out, etc...
Here's a little example.

Hanzo: Akira's view is like a snail to this unknown ninja. He
retaliates by bending his body. He performs a somersault, in

fast for him to catch. The strike hit him, which makes him to
move backwards. Not waiting for the ninja to get back to his
stance, he charges forward, sending a full-powered punch.
Hanzo: He can't see what's going on. Just as he get back to his
foot, Akira's punch landed on his face, sending him flying away.
For someone who depends on speed, the attack hurts him
well.[/quote]
See how both of them fights. This is what we wanted~
GUILDS AND CLANS
Yes. I'm making a little restriction. I know some of you would
wanted to be in their own guild. Well, all you have to do is to
tell us about this guild of yours and wait for approval. Violet
Mage Guild is one of the original guild, so they don't need any
approval.
