       Starting a thread about this movie because I have been watching
       it repeatedly over the last few weeks, but I'm not entirely sure
       why. Emmett is easily one of my favourite Oldman characters and
       through his role in this movie he is fantastic. I can't seem to
       get enough of it, or him  ;)

       Who could blame you?! I sure as hell can't ;D I can remember
       renting this from Blockbuster a few years back with a non Gary
       loving fan and by the time the credits were rolling up she was a
       convert. I can also remember balling my eyes out at the line
       "Well, I don't reckon I'm a hero. Sure don't feel like one. I
       just did what I could. One thing at a time. Step by step."

       That is no surprise at all! :)
       I don't know too many people who can watch a Gary performance
       for the first time and not be blown away by him, though, there
       have been a select few people who think his acting in that
       particular movie is awful. I just don't understand them because
       it is one of his best, at least I think so. That line is
       heartbreaking, I agree, as is the majority of the movie. I think
       I cried through the entire thing haha.
