The Walker Sisters

For some reason Tumblr's being picky about photo postings for me
at the moment so I thought I'd make a post about them here. I've
managed to combine a few verses and this was the end result. I
present to you, The Trinity Verse.

Mary Louise “ Marylou “ Walker- Braxton
B. October 11
Starsign: Libra
Married to: Hank Braxton { owner/operator of one of the largest
cattle ranches in McCavish County }
Eldest Walker sister / mother hen of the group/ Mother, Evie's,
favorite/ The diplomatic one
Occupation: Veterinary assistant to Doc Mathers.
Children: 5 { Bonnie, Evie June, Tommy, Russell, and little Jack
}
She married straight out of college ( she was only one to go,
her Mama made sure of that ) and honestly doesn’t regret it. The
only thing she does regret is the fact that her mother-in-law is
the biggest pain in the butt in all of McCavish county and that
her brother-in-law ( her husband's brother ) is dumb as a sack
of rocks. She often bemoans being the eldest but honestly she
wouldn’t have it any other way. She's able to see all sides of
an argument and yet still manage to voice her opinion without
offending a single person. She's always been the most
diplomatic. Just one thing is weighing on her at the moment, the
fact that her husband’s cattle operation is moving out to
California. She hasn’t told either of her sisters yet but
something tells her when she does they’ll either be ecstatic for
her or they’ll be downright crushed.
Sarah June “Sadie” Walker-Wilson
B. August 3
Starsign: Leo
Married to: Ike Wilson { the bailiff down at the court house }
Middle sister of the trio / the worrywart / favored child of
their father, Dooley/ The headstrong one
Occupation: assistant secretary to the mayor of the tiny town
of Trinity Georgia.
Children: 4 { Ike Jr. , Abby Kate, Cody, Libby }
If worrying were an Olympic sport, Sadie would most assuredly
take the gold three times over. With four daredevil children and
husband who has many a misadventure down at the Gatlinburg Inn
it’s a wonder she’s hanging on to her sanity. She can easily be
seen as the headstrong one, the one that's been known to get a
little snappish and boil over at times. She often wonders what
her life would have turned out to be had she not gotten married
so early in her life. Her kids are all involved in everything
you could possibly think of, her husband’s damn good at his job
and yet…she feels like she’s let herself fall to the wayside.
She knows she's on shaky ground trying to know herself but she's
not the type to bother anyone with her problems. She hoesntly
doesn't think they'd listen anyway. (she's wrong.)
Ruth Colleen ‘Colly’ Walker-Hollis
B. July 11
Starsign: Cancer
Married to: Boaz 'Beau' Hollis { owner of a small dairy/horse
farm and a former PBR champ. A very sweet and gentle man. )
Youngest sister named after their Granny Jamison and adored by
her/ The sweet one / The Glue of the Walker family
Occupation: a regular Miss Fix It and Child Minder to her
sisters / chief cook and bottle washer for her parents / dairy
farmer's wife.
Children: She'd like nothing better than to have her own brood
but with nine nieces and nephews she and Jack have agreed to
wait a while.
Not only was the only sister to run off to get married she did
it right before her Mama's 50th birthday. She was a newly minted
18 and feeling closed in. It had always been assumed that Colly
would be the one to put her life on hold for Mama and Daddy
while Marylou and Sadie went about their lives. She and Buddy
went all the way to Tennessee ( she waited tables at the
Bluebird Cafe and he worked the local stock yards ) and ended up
getting hitched. Very much the sweetest one of the sisters and
the built in baby-sitter to her two older sisters. Oddly enough
she’s also the one that ended up settling away from home ( about
nine hours away ) and endearing herself and her husband to the
community they now call home. The vast expanse of farmland
they've renamed Eden Ridge Farm is now the focal point of many
things for neighbors and their combined families. Colly might
not know it but she's the glue that holds things together.
