The Astwood Children

I, for some reason have had an itch to create full profiles for
Cage and Colleen's little ones. I've no idea as to why but
they're here and chattering away at various ages. Still trying
to pin down FC's for them ( I may need help with that bit to be
honest ) but I shall keep you posted! I've toyed with the idea
of adding in a mini 'what if' verse if Eldon had lived. I broke
my own heart over the little lamb's passing and I'm trying very
very hard to atone for it.

DOB: May 18th, 1993 @ 12:45 AM { It was a Tuesday }
POB: Whitby Community Hospital
Starsign : Taurus
Nicknames: El, Bump { by his father }, A stóirín { only by his
mother }, Thing 1
Hair / Eyes : Dark brown & Blue
Likes/ Dislikes & Various Facts:
- Was a very serious child who very seldom got into mischief and
kept a close eye on his sister/s ( haven't quite decided if in
this verse he'll have just Luna or another )
- Enjoys a good game of football but only if he's playing with
his uncle Joey and his Da. The other kids around the block poke
fun at his height ( he's inherited Cage's tall slim build and
he's called Scarecrow from an early age )
- Has a keen interest in various languages and can speak Irish
Gaelic fluently and is picking up Swedish slowly. He's also
interested in Romanian and French but his parents insist that he
keep that for a hobby when he's gone off to uni. He also has an
interest in archeology and ancient studies.
- One of his first memories as a child was the night his parents
took him to see his uncle Joey perform in London. He'd never
been out if Whitby before and the entire trip opened his eyes to
a wondrous world of sights, sounds and people. Besides his dear
old Da his Uncle Joey is his hero.
- The only other woman he'll hug and let ruffle his hair (
besides his Mum ) is his aunty Hel.
- He can remember his Granny Astwood coming to live with them at
Grey Grove House after she'd broken her hip, he'd just turned 17
and gotten his license and he was the one to take her out and
about on weekends to catch up with her friends. He never minded
because she was the only granny he had and he loved her dearly,
even if she did call him by his father's name from time to time.
- Still has the stuffed bat his mother made for him before he
was born. It's been named Batty and still has a place of honor
on his bed at home.
- He was conceived during Colleen and Cage's trip to Romania. (
somewhere between the castle tours they think )

Nicknames: Lulu ( by Eldon ), Squeak ( by Cage ), and A thaisce
( by Colleen ), Thing 2 ( by her parents )
Likes/Dislikes & Various Facts:
- Is quite eager to help her aunt Helene in anyway she can.
She's always had an interest in flowers and plants and could
always be seen toddling off after Colleen when she ventured out
to the massive greenhouse or the walled off garden.
- Was always the child at your elbow asking the why questions.
Or the child to say 'It wasn't me!' if you happened to hear a
crash or a thud from another room.
- Unlike her brother she had absolutely no interest in foreign
languages but she does love English.
- When she's not out adventuring around the estate she can be
found in her father's library pouring over anatomical texts,
reading about various species of mushrooms and pressing flowers
and specimens between ancient tomes that literally no one (
besides Eldon ) actually reads anymore.
- She shares her mother's love of Beatrix Potter and Lewis
Carrol and would quite like to be a writer someday.
- Has a stuffed rabbit named Babbity since her father won't let
her have a real one.
-Is the child that is constantly bringing home strays and
begging to keep them. ( she usually gets her way as Eldon often
sides with her )
- Insists on coloring in Cage's tattoos with her magic markers
because she's convinced that he needs more color.
- Has claimed the attic as her very own space and can usually be
found there reading or sketching her pets.
- Was very nearly named Charlotte due to Cage's love for The
Cure.
- Was conceived during a trip to Prague for an alternative
tattoo artists convention.

POB: Whitby, Grey Grove House ( born at home which was quite an
unexpected turn of events for her parents }
Hair/Eyes: Dark Brown / Green
Starsign: Cancer
Nickname: Mina ( by just about everyone ), Zip ( by her parents
), Miss Manners ( by both of her siblings ), Little Dove ( Cage
), A leanbh ( by Colleen ) Thing 3
Likes/ Dislikes & Facts:
- Is quite close with her sister Luna but can at times pester
her elder brother to the point of distraction.
- Is the polar opposite of her older sister and despises getting
dirty.
- Adores anything with frills or frippery and insists on
dresses, skirts, and having her hair braided.
- Has taken to playing the piano and insisting on vocal lessons
from her Uncle Joakim.
- Strives to have a little dog like her Aunty Helene when she's
a grown up because it's what ladies of standing do. Drink tea,
host parties and luncheons and adore their small dogs. ( at
least that's what she thinks anyway )
- Met her Grandmother Murphy exactly once in her life and
loathed the woman. So much so she glowered her and then promptly
kicked her in the shins before stomping out of the room putting
herself on the naughty step.
- If she does decide to attend university she'd quite like to
study music composition.
- Has a knack of getting herself ( and her siblings ) out of
sticky situations with her most innocent and angelic facial
expressions.
- Has a stuffed purple penguin named Viola she's seen quite
often with wandering around the house.
- Is given to hosting rather elaborate tea parties for her
collection of dolls, stuffed animals and beloved adults and her
siblings. She actually insists on real tea and cakes as well as
writing out invitations and posting them well in advance.
- Given the fact that she was conceived during the Whitby Goth
festival '98 ( and on Cage's birthday no less ) they had to name
her after two of Stoker's characters. They've a shared love of
the novel anyway but it stuck.
*- She adores her uncles Joakim, Lestat & Louis and her aunty
Helene but will always have a soft spot for her uncle Vlad. She
even got him to attend one of her tea parties when he was in the
country, much to her utter delight and her parents' collective
shock.
* - Has a pet hellhound of her own she dubbed him Fluffy, much
to the poor thing's chagrin.
* -Insists on napping with Cage during the day ( with the coffin
lid open of course )
* - Her birth was a downright surprise to everyone, her parents,
doctors, clan Elders and the High Council.
* Unlike what Twilight has lead people to believe her growth
rate isn't accelerated by any means. For every human year it
takes her between four and six years to age. ( aka Longest
Terrible Twos Ever ). Despite this she's a very very bright
little girl...and very bitey when she wishes to be.

I love so much that you've made a thread about their children.
I'm also looking forward to any face claims that you have in
mind, even though you're not totally sure yet who you want to go
with for each of them. I struggle a lot with child fc's because
I always feel limited for how picky I am. I think the most I've
ever loved one of those choices was when I chose the face claim
for Cassius ( Hel & Caleb's son ), because I do so love
Chandler Canterbury and it never hit me until after I had picked
his face for their son, that the movie I know him most from is
Knowing. In that particular movie, his characters name is Caleb
and I thought that was a neat little coincidence and completely
unintentional.
I never managed to choose a face claim for Emmett, though, and
I'm still struggling with that one because it took me long
enough to find Cassius' so I am not sure how long this one will
take, either. I hope that you are able to narrow some fc's down
though for your three there. I love the addition of Mina, as
well. I also love that her Uncle's include Lestat and Louis (
that mention gave me some feels because I miss the verse I have
for Hel with Lelio ). I think I might give Hel and Joey another
child at some later stage, but I seem to work better with
couples having just one. I'll definitely have to try harder to
pick out a fc for Em and on my travels through the world wide
web .. I'll have a look around and offer some input and
suggestions for you, too, if that would be helpful! :D

Aha! thank you very very much, I'm so happy you like the
additions. I totally get it though, you've got this image in
your mind and you just can't quite find it out there online.
He's adorable! I've yet to watch the film but that's a sign if
ever there was one. I'm sure you're find one for Emmett, it'll
pop up when you're least expecting it and I love the idea of
giving Hel and Joey another little one! Cage & Colleen are
already offering up baby clothes and any kind of help their
friends may need and of course Col's already planning the baby
shower and get ideas for the cake. ;) Likewise if you need help
just give me a shout and I'll gladly help.
I've done a little digging on Hollow Art and plugged in my
criteria looks wise and here's what I've come up with so far,
still totally open to suggestions though and they are most
welcome.
Eldon - Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick ( the child from the new Omen
film...even though it came out ages ago. I always thought he was
adorable..even if he was the antichrist. )
