Real Estate and Having an 'aha!' moment

Now, I'm not sure if it's me because I've always been like this
but I've noticed with all the real estate sites popping up
lately that they've actually helped me with my writing. A house,
for me at least acts like a secondary character. If I can
imagine the layout of the place my muses call home it helps me
move things along and even get a better idea of who they are as
people. Does that make sense? I sure hope it does. Anyway, I
thought I'd unveil the place I can easily see Cage and Colleen
settling down in in a piece or two. I've no idea where this
particular place actually is but I'd give my eye teeth to win
the lottery and buy that sucker. Then again there's the whole
matter of dusting the place and vacuuming..hey if I could afford
this place I'd hire maids and a chef at that point. ;D There's
actually another listing that goes with this place that has a
separate apartment all together.

I used to love doing this with my stories, more so than my
characters, but when my characters became more important and in
depth than the storylines, I found that I lost touch a little
bit with homes for them etc. I think the last time I chose a
place that fitted a muse, was when I picked one out for Emlyn &&
that was definitely sometime ago now! I really should get back
into the swing of things where every aspect of a muses life is
jotted down and kept stored away for reference. I do miss doing
those kinds of things, but sometimes I think it's added
frustration 'cause some muses are so very picky, aha.
I just took a look-see at the home that Col and Cage would live
in and I'm kind of a little bit in love with it myself, so I
definitely understand why you'd be wanting to purchase it, too!
that looks quite beautiful and is well suited to the two of them
also. I like that I now have it in my head for tumblr threads as
well, so I can imagine it when Hel or Joey are conversing with
them both. I'll have to take a look around and choose a home
fitting for the Larssons now. I would like to join in the fun :D

aha! I spotted your post over on Tumblr and I have to say that I
love Hel and Joey's place. It's downright lovely and suits them
both perfectly. Colleen's fallen in love with their pool among
other things ( even though the place she calls home already has
one ;) ) I was a bit worried that perhaps this place was too big
for Cage and Colleen but somehow I can see them filling the
place with chosen family and friends to the rafters, there's
always a room available for anyone in need of it with those two.
I do have to wonder though, does Hel and Joey's have a recording
studio? ;) Thank you for playing! You know you're always welcome
to!

The House on Prospect Street for Mickey & Colleen. I stumbled
across this place and given the layout and how it looks I can
honestly seem these two calling it home. I can also see Helene
and Colleen meeting up there to wait for Mickey and Bobby and
their fathers. They always say that they'll just sit and wait at
the house but they always end up running down to the docks as
the ships come in or Hel spends the night when the ships go out.

I think I want to move into this house right here. I actually
love American houses because though they look outwardly tiny,
the insides are always much bigger than they appear and
beautifully designed. The interior of this one I absolutely love
and the kitchen is easily my favourite room! I can see the girls
spending hours here waiting for their fella's and can definitely
imagine Hel would want to hang around there when they go out to
sea again!

( just adding this one in here ; this is the holiday home joey
bought after the success of The Final Countdown album and where
he takes Helene and friends for a break out of the country ;
this is a very interesting looking house I think and the rooms
are gorgeous )
