Siblings: One brother, Tony who is about six years younger.
Occupation: Tavern owner ( co-owner of the Gull's Nest ) /
lobster & tuna fisherman, Guitarist ( formerly )
Significant Other: Colleen Murphy
Children: 1 daughter, Sarah Helene Donnelly
Friends: Helene Starling, Dave 'Sully' Sullivan, Bobby Shatford,
Billy Tyne and a whole motley crew that take up seats down at
the Gull's Nest.

Music In General: In his opinion the top six greatest
bands/musicians in the world are Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith,
Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn
and Def Leppard.
Fast Facts:
-Scrimped and saved to buy his first boat but after he bought it
he had no idea what to actually name it. Now, all good fishermen
will tell you that you don't even think about fishing in a boat
without a name. Three days later he met Colleen and was
downright smitten with her, sadly her father had already
christened his own boat in her honor so Mickey settled on 'Green
Eyed Lady' instead. He had the boat a whole two months before
his buddy Sully managed to sink it after hitting the docks after
a lobster run.
- There are only two people in this world Michael Donnelly fears
and respects. His mother-in-law, His wife, and his wife's best
friend.
- Is officially barred from every Sizzler restaurant in all 50
states. ( It's a long story and for legal reasons he can't talk
about it but let's just say that it involves the all you can eat
baked potato bar, a bowl full of bacon bits and enough sour
cream to attempt to drown a full grown man. )
- Was all set to name his daughter after his favorite Clapton
song but Colleen won the coin toss and Layla was struck down.
- Formed a band with some friends during their high school days
( back then they were known as The Radar Lovers and covered
mostly Golden Earring songs but they thankfully branched out and
renamed themselves The Barracudas ) They still get together
every now and then.
- Still has no clue that Colleen used to dance under the name
Candy Striper. She finds it hilarious because it's one of Mick's
favorite songs. Go figure.
- One song that makes him tear up is Heaven by Warrant. He's
never admitted that to anyone until now.
- Not a fan of Almond Rocca. He ate about a half pound of it as
a kid and ended up sick for three days.
- Could live off of bacon, steak and eggs and live a very happy
life without salads if only Colleen would actually let him.
- Made money after high school by working long line jobs and
mowing lawns.
- Is a dog person but has nothing against cats.
- Never apologized to anyone for offending them until Colleen
found him and made him understand that other people actually do
in fact have feelings. He spent the better part of two years
apologizing to damn near everyone in town.
- Very nearly thought he'd lost Colleen after one particularly
nasty verbal sparing match. ( he instigated it and she packed a
bag and left) He was never more sorry then that month she spent
away from the apartment they called home. He spent the next
thirty days apologizing and meaning it from the bottom of his
heart.
- He proposed to Col on her birthday in front of every single
friend and family member they collectively invited to the Gull's
Nest.
- Their wedding song was The Flame by Cheap Trick.

I love familiar faces! and this one is definitely a familiar
face. I remember all of your posts relating to Mickey and I
think he was one of the best pairings for Col ( actually my
favourite for her but shh ). I love knowing more about him as a
person and his background and all the gritty details,
particularly all of the aspects of his relationship with the
Irish lass and possibly my favourite thing about this verse you
have for her with Mickey is that they are a part of ' The
Perfect Storm ' storyline in ways, be it before, during or
after. That's literally my favourite thing :D
