White Light Moment
DIR By: Wolfy

This is only a short story, at least for the moment until I can
gather enough ideas to continue it.
---------------------------------------------------------
We had all not long ago completed our dreaded exams and most had
passed with flying colours. I only wished my hold up had not
occurred, perhaps then my exams could have been done and dusted
two years ago. After falling horribly sick during my last year
at Hogwarts, I could not return to school to take my exams with
the rest of my class, missing out on a whole two years. Thus, I
had been invited back to join the new seventh years. During my
stay I had grown fairly close to Mr.Potter and learnt quite a
few pranks along the way. I’d read stories and heard gossip
about his father and those he spent time with, often giggling
childishly at the pranks they used to pull on old Snape.
As is tradition at such a fine school, celebrations were in
order for all students; or in my case past students. In no more
than fifteen minutes, a party would break out in the great hall
and everyone had been invited, including myself. Thinking quick
as I did not like to be the late arrival anywhere I went,
loathing all eyes on me, I searched through my packed wardrobe
for appropriate party wear. My eyes shone in the dim light of
the room after pulling out my favourite outfit and throwing it
on, admiring the look in the full length mirror across the room.
I smiled at the sight for once. I wore torn blue jean shorts, an
ink black cropped cardigan and cowgirl boots of a matching
colour. The boots had imprinted paw prints of a snow white
colour, dotted randomly over the smooth material and they almost
glowed in the darkness. Twirling once to get a good view of
every angle, I smiled again at my reflection and headed down
toward the main hall to join the others, mainly Harry and his
friends. I hadn’t bothered to delve into other friendship
circles as I found it pointless, no one really knew or
understood me at this school now.
It took me quite some time to reach the bottom of the stairs
without breaking my neck, as I’d forgotten how high the heels of
these boots were. They were high, but manageable enough to some
degree. The moment I stepped into the great hall, a few heads
turned my way but I immediately brushed them off. I had been
known by my own peers to be incredibly shy through situations
such as these, but I was determined to make a good impression on
the students three years my junior whilst I was here. No one
knew it was my birthday, thankfully. As I had only just turned
twenty one years of age, I felt it necessary to keep the big
secret to myself to avoid all kinds of trouble. Parties were not
my cup of tea usually, but after being encouraged to attend this
one by Harry and his friends, I couldn’t turn them all down.
Walking over to his table, Hermione waved happily in my
direction, patting the seat beside her.
I spent quite a while chatting away like nobody’s business to
Hermione about her crush on Ron and how she has been avoiding
the subject for years. It was all good fun of course and I
offered her the best advice I possibly could. I looked her dead
in the eye, gripped her hand and told her word for word, exactly
what she should say to him the moment they are both alone. Her
blush was evident on her cheeks as I told her everything, but
she listened intently nonetheless. Once I had finished, she
stood from her seat and strode across the room to find Ron. The
last sight in my vision had been Hermione pushing him hard
against a wall and lunging at his mouth with her own. Unknown to
others, I did my own little victory dance and smiled, showing
off my sparkling teeth. After a moment or two, I calmed myself
and noticed Harry was also out of his seat, but I couldn’t see
him anywhere. Until I looked closely at a large group of people
standing metres away from the ongoing make out session between
Ron and Hermione, there he stood with a girl in his arms, a girl
I knew to be Ginny, Ron’s baby sister.
My hand rested over my heart and a tear or two slipped from my
eyes at the sight. All but me had found love and I was lonely
all over again. I sighed in defeat, realising the young men at
this school were now too young for me. Men who were my age or
older had my greatest interest, so I growled. With my head
resting on my arms as I lounged over the table, I hummed the
melody to my favourite song, eventually giving in to temptation
and singing it quietly to myself, hoping no one could hear my
horrid singing voice.
All I want now is a white light moment
Come with me tonight
Monochrome city the colours fading
Watching the world in your eyes
A mans voice beside me woke me from my trance and a hand rested
gently on my shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. I was thankful
for the comforting touch, but the idea that it could be anyone
made me shudder. The worry lasted all of two seconds and
vanished like a shooting star the moment my eyes met his.
Through his eyes, I explored his soul. I hadn’t gotten to talk
to him since arriving back at Hogwarts, but I had spotted him
standing around Harry an awful lot this past year, as a fatherly
figure.
“Why so sad beautiful?” he cooed, brushing a strand of hair from
my face.
I shivered under his touch, all the while unable to take my eyes
from his and wishing he would just take me in his arms away from
the chaotic noise that was beginning to make my head spin.
Smiling down at me as he stood up, almost as though he had read
my mind, he held out his hand for me and I took it gladly.
Perhaps he had not read my mind at all, for he led me over to
where couples danced close to one another and pulled me into his
embrace. Alright, so maybe he had of it down. Still, I knew not
how to dance and did not wish to make a fool of myself in front
of anyone, especially him. After a few minutes of dancing slowly
however, I got the hang of it. As we spun in small circles and
he held me closer with every spin, butterflies flew about madly
in my stomach. Not only was this man Harry’s godfather, but he
was a great deal older than me, though not by a huge amount.
Seeing as I had just turned twenty one and he was roughly thirty
one, our age gap would be something of a discussion topic to
most people. I looked around the room to find Harry, Hermione
and Ron all seated once more at the table they’d chosen. Each
with their love beside them, only they were all staring at me
and the man I was dancing with. With one quick glance at Harry,
his smile broke out into a full on cheesy grin and he winked
over at me in approval, at which I blushed crimson.
“I don’t believe I know your name, as much as Harry has spoken
of you” he whispered into my ear as he spun me again.
“Vega, quite a similarity to yours I would say Mr.Black” I
replied, smiling warmly.
His grin matched that of the one Harry had given me only seconds
ago, causing me to blush all over again. He giggled at the sight
and asked if he made me weak at the knees, a question I could
not help but laugh at as we continued to dance in a small
circle, our bodies almost sewn together they were that close. I
could feel the butterflies creating havoc inside me as he
pressed his chest against mine, hoping for a reaction. I refused
to give him one, instead pulling away and thanking him for the
dance. On my way back to the table, I was unaware of his eyes
burning into the back of my head, scaling up and down my body as
I walked rather seductively in my heels. I’d known what I was
doing to him and had managed to succeed. Grinning slyly, I
reached the table and quickly wiped the smug look from my face
before telling the gang I was retiring. A few hugs and kisses
later, I was good to go. Swaying my way out of the great hall
had proven quite a task when I almost collided head first with
one of the stone walls at the side of the door, but managed to
catch myself mid air. Despite making an idiot out of myself in
front of the few who sat close by snickering at my unfortunate
slip up, I prayed Sirius was not still staring at me as I left.
I chose not to turn my head back, in case he had been.
About halfway up the stairs, his voice called from behind. I
turned on my heel, but before I could catch myself, my whole
body fell forward and I went flying into the air straight toward
him. Luckily for me, he was there to break my fall, which was of
course rather unfortunate for him. My apologies couldn’t come
quick enough as he lay there groaning in absolute agony. Shock
covered my face as I wrapped an arm around his waist and lifted
him, his left arm over my shoulder for balance. It took us about
an hour to reach the top of the stairs, but with all his
complaining I hadn’t expected it to be an easy task.
“How about next time, we use some magic” he grunted, leaning
back against the solid wooden door of the Gryffindor common
room.
“You know, it never even occurred to me” I said, a light bulb
going off in my head.
His growl did not go unnoticed by my ears but I decided against
telling him off or hitting him, considering I had done enough
damage to his beautiful body already. Vulgar thoughts entered my
head faster than I could stop them and before long I moaned, out
loud, earning his attention. A ridiculously unfortunate problem
of mine had been the inability to control my emotions,
especially those brought on by daydreams.
“Did you just..” he said, but barely managed to finish his
sentence at the sight of me.
My face, now as red as a tomato and my hair glowing a deep
purple gave clear signs that I was experiencing mental pleasure,
as well as utter embarrassment. Through half opened eyes I could
see the smirk growing on his handsome face, but I said nothing.
Instead, I rose from my seat on the sofa and walked briskly over
to him, glaring.
“And just what is it you find so amusing Black” I barked,
uncovering my face.
As infamous as he was, I half expected him to come back at me
with a brutal and cunning response, but he didn’t. He simply
stood, until our noses bumped and stared deeply into my cloudy
eyes. All I could do was stare back, well aware of the heat
rising to my cheeks as I felt his breath tickle my lips. I
inhaled, his scent flowing through me with every intake of
breath I took. Just as I was about to open my mouth to speak, he
raised one of his fingers to my mouth, shielding my lips so I
could not say a word. Before I could even hope to protest, his
hand trailed down my right side, colliding briefly with my bare
waist as he backed me up toward one of the beds.
“Are you alright to do this?” he uttered, kissing my neck as he
leaned over me.
I could not answer him with words, as he had stolen them from me
and my throat had dried up over the few feet we had walked
before falling back onto the bed. Instead, I gave him a small
nod, gazing up at him expectantly. I watched with shining eyes
as his hand traced the outline of my clothed form, only to
deftly remove my cardigan and shorts without warning, earning a
light giggle from me. Then, the atmosphere changed completely as
his expression was deadly serious. He lightly began to grind
against my body, laying carefully between my legs as he did so
and the same moan he had heard before escaped my mouth. My hands
reached up and tangled themselves within his deep brown, wavy
locks. I tugged on them lightly as he continued this charade.

I lost all of my ideas for this one unfortunately. I seem to use
every idea I have and put it into one story, so there ends up
being nothing fresh for others. I suppose I could take a new
turn on a few things though. Perhaps over the next few weeks I
will get back to it :]

You do that too? I do the same damn thing, "Oh what if this were
to happen...and this..." and then once you reach the end and try
to start something new you're sitting in front of your monitor
going "Well, now what?" It's most vexing! Please by all means
take your time! You can't rush art, my dear. :D

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who does that :] it's a
constant need to improve ideas and stuff, so they all get used
up in one story and then you wonder why you can't come up with
something new haha. Aye, thats true! I shall wait on further
lightbulbs :D
