Name meaning / Pronunciation:
Micajah - Mica-jah { although Colleen pronounces it My-cage-ah,
thus resulting in his nickname of 'Cage' } meaning "who is like
God"
Astwood: meaning " at the edge of the wood". Anglo-saxon in
origin, the family seat was held in what is now known as
Shropshire though for many generations the family records can be
found in Chiswick. He's rather proud of his Chiswickian roots,
although he'd never ever admit to it.
DOB: October 31 ( born during the Samhain celebrations during a
Waxing crescent )
Astrological Sign: Scorpio
Relationship status: Taken, by a lovely Irish lady.
Occupation: Has had many jobs over the years. Cab driver,
hospital orderly, waiter, barman, produce stocker, dog walker,
and former piercing tech at a little hole in the wall place
that's since closed down. He's currently self employed as a
magician under the name 'Ivar the Great'. ( sadly it's mostly
children's parties so the potential to go beyond anything that
involves metal rings or colored scarves cannot be done for fear
that a wee one might be psychologically scarred )

Likes: The Irish bird that he somehow managed to pick up late
one rainy night at The World’s End in Camden. The wonder in a
person’s eyes when he shows off a new trick. Rainy afternoons.
Caramel Hobnobs. Black tea mixed with rum ( It’s called gunfire
if anyone would like to know ). Trekking through churchyards
late at night by the light of the moon. Shelley’s works. Back
rubs with warm oil ( preferably lavender scented ). Hammer
Films and anything by the Sisters of Mercy, Peter Murphy or
Bauhaus. Being nipped and having his hair brushed.
Parents: Eldon ( a brick layer ) - Deceased and Alaura ( a
seamstress )
*was an only child
Dream: Of one day perfecting his craft and traveling the world
with his lady love.
Most embarrassing moment: When he was the waxing poetic and
stepped fell into an open grave. He split his pants on the way
down and ended up having to claw his way out to the shock and
horror of the digging crew that showed up just before dawn to
witness his rising up from a grave. Nothing says "I'm a creature
of the night" like ripped pants showcasing your Scooby Doo print
boxers, dirt streaks down your face and a collection of dead
leaves and twigs tangled in your hair while you hobble out the
front gate like you've got a rather sizable stick shoved
somewhere unpleasant. It also does not help your case when you
ask a passerby for some change to call your girlfriend to pick
you up because let's face it you're not walking home like that.

Ohh! it's so nice to know more about this mysterious stranger
that Colleen has taken such a liking to ;) I look forward to
learning more about him, too, through works of fiction that I
have no doubt you are either working on or currently plotting!
If you ever want to bring him into rp as well, all my muses
would love to meet him, even if it's via Col herself ( I
absolutely love threads that involve muses family members etc
).
