The 'Holy moly I've got the urge to do something I haven't done

It's been a good long while since I've colored my hair, not just
put in highlights but full on changing things up. I've got the
urge, the almighty itching urge to go back to black or perhaps
I'll give plum a go, I have no idea why ( blame all the damn
vampires! ) but I do and I'm considering it. Perhaps for the
month of October? I also made the mistake of going on the Manic
Panic website and I got sucked in again. I know it's only hair
and it can be changed and it grows but darn it I'm torn. *shakes
fist*

I would definitely go for it! I'm actually purchasing a dye for
the upcoming season and will be keeping on top of it just for
that month alone, I think. I like my hair black, but my natural
colour of deep brown with golden highlights via the sun ( not
at all thankful for this ), has grown on me the longer I have
been without a different colour in my hair. I think, just for
October and Halloween and all that jazz, I'm going to dye it one
last time. I always make sure I hunt around for the Ammonia free
stuff though because it terrifies me when it isn't. I think most
of them are now, though, which makes things a lot easier when
hunting around for products!

Thank you! I think I just might do it, at least before the grey
hair starts setting in. ;) Aww your highlights sound lovely!
Have you tried the Henna dyes? I've heard that they're ammonia
free and can nourish your hair while it adds color to it. I'm
trying to think of what I used to use before I found Manic Panic
I'm drawing a blank and I apologize, MP is ammonia and PPD free
and it's vegan/vegetarian friendly ( at least the Raven Black is
I'll have to look into the other colors if you'd like ). I was
always terrified of the ammonia too ( that crap stinks to high
heaven and it freaking burns ) I learned that lesson when I went
blonde. Never ever again.
