Anon Messages on the blue Hell Site

Ugh, I got my first ever Johnny bashing anon message today. I
can't even right now. I just can't. I didn't even give them the
recognition of replying..does that make me a bad person? I just.
felt, affronted. It came of like "how dare you continue to
reblog Johnny Depp. He's a no good abuser." It went on to say
that this person was the victim of abuse ( what kind I don't
know and I do feel horrible for them ) but why go after me for
supporting an actor whose work I enjoy and who to me, is a stand
up human being? Do they not know the charity work he's done over
the years? How his films have helped people through rough
patches in their lives? Did they forget that his other
significant others spoke in favor of him? I just...I'm sorry I'm
rambling but jeesh. Why go after anyone? I've turned off anon on
main account because of this, if they send one again ( which I
doubt they will ) I want to know exactly who they are so I can
unfollow them. If my postings upset them they can unfollow me, I
have no qualms, I'd rather they did. I'd at least like to be
able to do the same.

Ick, I am so sorry it's taken me ages to respond to this! I wish
I had seen it the day you got it, but I hope you haven't had
further messages since. I got one or two several months back,
but they didn't appear on anon so I ended up messaging them back
and forth for all of a handful of messages and then they
disappeared after that. I lost waves of followers on several
accounts wherever I posted Johnny stuff after those news stories
came out, but that just didn't phase me at all. I stumbled upon
a select few tumblr posts some weeks ago defending him, via the
perspective of a victim of abuse and claimed he was not in any
way an abuser himself, because Amber's story just didn't make
any sense or add up anywhere. It was also noted as everyone in
defense of Johnny points out, that Amber has past incidents
where she has been abusive in relationships and accused of lying
and was at one pointed arrested in connection with the abuse of
her ex partner. Also, people are very judgemental right off the
bat and automatically believe the ' victim ' even before any
sort of evidence is brought out, which is what actually happened
when the whole Johnny / Amber scenario blew up online. My mother
is also a victim of abuse and stands with Johnny, so I think
coming from people who have been abused and know exactly what it
is like, they can fill in the gaps in Amber's story a whole lot
easier than the rest of the world. That anon you got was bang
out of order. I am sorry you got one of those :( people are vile
in relation to this whole scenario and they don't know how to
handle it properly.
