Some of our favorite things
DIR By: Maggie Flannery

I've seen this on a few different forums and thought it might be
at home here. Just list a few of your favorite things, it can be
anything you like. The number you list is also up to you. I'll
start off.
Top six in specific order
1. Bubble baths, I'm a bath fiend, haha. I've got quite the
array of salts, scrubs, gels, and bath fizzers. I still aspire
to have a claw foot tub and one day I will, damn it! :D
2. I love fresh cut flowers. (my two favorite flowers are
lavender and rose.)
3. Book shopping. I seriously could spend hours wandering around
a book shop, and I have.
4. Writing. When I can find the time I love to let out some
creativity. I don't think I could make a career of it but if I
can bring joy to someone through my creative processes it's a
joy to me.
5. Classic novels. I adore them, I'm a bit of a book worm anyway
but I feel you can't go wrong with the classics. (House of the
Seven Gables, The Scarlet Letter, and Wuthering Heights are my
top three go to books.)
6. Tea. I adore it, and I'm the only one in my family that does.
Two of my favorites are Earl Grey and home grown Lemon Balm
herbal.
I've got a few more but I'm blanking at the moment, haha. I was
going to add drooling over our dear Gary but I thought better of
it :p

I really like your list of favourite things! :] It's going to be
hard to choose a select few but I'll try. I don't know how many
I'll list, but I know they won't be in any particular order.
1. Being called baby, my love and darling by my husband to be.
Not sure where such a strong like for these came from, but my
cheeks burn red and I smile big when he calls me any of these.
2. Purple, anything and everything purple is loved by me. If my
worst enemies were a shade of purple, they would no longer by my
enemies. Same goes for food I do not like! if it were purple, my
opinion would change.
3. When I find a song I haven't heard before and instantly I'm
on a high listening to it because it's just so brilliant. This
only counts if I find such a song at least once a month, to keep
up the cycle.
4. As above, finding new and interesting actors whom I have not
watched perform before. Example: last night I watched a movie
with Goldie Hawn and her co-star was a man called Edward Albert;
fell in love with him.
5. Writing and creating short stories or poetry. The latter of
which I have not done in a long while, I must start again.
Creating things with words is always one of my favourite things
to do.
6. Little fluffy bunny rabbits. I can't get enough of how
adorable bunnies are, but I couldn't possibly own another after
the extreme loss I felt after my baby bunny Kiara passed months
ago. In her memory I would like to post images of her below :]

Aww! Your list is beautiful, Wolfy my dear. Your dear bunny
Kiara was adorable! I've never heard of Edward Albert, you've
peaked my interest, haha. Perhaps you're onto something with the
love of purple? Only royalty wore it waaay back when, perhaps
you're someone on noble birth reincarnate?
I meant to put no specific order on mine but I ended up skipping
a word. :P I think we're off to a lovely start on this. If I
could get just one still shot of my darling pets I would but
they're a little spastic. I think my cat, Pandora, takes after
me because she just can't stand the camera, haha.

Thank you kindly! I miss her horribly, but her photographs make
me happy and it's easier to cope having them to look through now
and again. I have only seen him act in 'butterflies are free'
and found him very attractive. He is a brilliant actor also,
especially his role in that movie. I'd recommend it if you like
hippyish seventies movies haha. Ooh that is quite interesting,
but I doubt very much that it's true. I read all over that the
colour purple is related in ways to royalty as you said, but I
do wonder why. I like taking random personality quizzes and
such, and they often give such a meaning to your favourite
colour being purple, it's quite strange. I'd love to know where
it sprouted from. I love your cats name :] and it would be
lovely if you could catch them whilst they are sleeping perhaps!
haha.

I do indeed like hippyish seventies movies, haha. I believe that
the use of the color purple for royalty stems from the roman
empire, they used some sort of sea urchin that when crushed
along with other mollusks gave off a deep purple dye. These
urchins were then taxed to such a degree that only the
wealthiest families could afford them. I guess a good thing
really does span the ages. :D Why thank you, I was originally
going to name her Hester but she has a nasty habit of climbing
into boxes so Pandora sort of stuck. Y'know I never thought of
taking a picture of her sleeping thank you so much for the idea.

I don't usually enjoy such movies, but as it was Goldie Hawn I
decided to give it a watch, and I'm glad I did. Oh I see! I had
no idea, you learn something new every day! I might look that up
now to read a little more about it, it's intriguing. My room is
a deep plum colour, with a green carpet.. perhaps not the best
match anymore, but it seemed to suit years ago when I chose them
haha. Hester would have been lovely too :] but I like the name
you gave her. You're welcome :) I hope you're able to catch one
while she's in dreamland!

I actually caught one of her when she was wide awake! So, here
she is in all her supreme feline glory, the lovely Pandora. She
was trying to "help" me make the bed, haha.

I'm glad you were able to get a photo of her :] even more so
that you managed to take it while she was awake haha. I love the
picture you posted by the way, the woman is interesting. I
notice is has 'morphthing' at the bottom so I'm wondering now
which two lovely people gave her that outcome :D

Please tell me that that's finally the right picture, haha. By
the way I believe I morphed Kelly Clarkson and Linsday Lohan.
Still monkeying with the banner for my fan fiction so hopefully
it'll look better then what was posted. ;D
