       What 10 Famous Authors Loved To Drink

       Hey there, found this one on town and country's website and I
       just had to share. I always find this sort of thing very very
       interesting, even though I no longer drink. :-)

       I've never been one to explore much with alcohol but this is
       actually pretty interesting!
       I think the only drinks I've ever mixed were Lager and
       Blackcurrant juice, which I used to drink like a fish, oops.

       Now that Lager and Blackcurrant juice sounds quite nice
       actually. If I ever get the stones up enough to try alcohol
       again I'll certainly try it.
       I was one for, lord help me - Cotton Candy vodka martinis and
       Lavender martinis...or any martini really. If it had vodka,
       vermouth, and was shaken over ice and garnished I was ready to
       go. Was also a huge fan of beer, had a thing for Guinness and
       Narragansett brands.  Then the hangover from hell put a stop to
       all that really really quick. ( I still don't exactly what I
       drank or how much, but it's a wonder I made it home. I believe I
       walked, but my Mom found me curled up with the dog on her bed in
       the living room the next morning.)
       I never took Edgar Alan Poe for a Brandy type of guy, I always
       pictured with a glass of claret or something - and Truman Copote
       I thought he favored J&B scotch? Hmm, the things you learn, huh?
