Maybe I'm just too sensitive?

I'm so sorry to post about this this early in the morning but
I've got to get it off my chest. I'm on Facebook every now and
again and I managed to be accepted into a fan group for Patrick
Swayze. I adore the poor man so I thought I'd fit right in. Good
grief was I wrong. There are some there that are lovely people,
others ( a vast majority) are not. I've noticed quite a bit of
the photos posted as of late are when he was in his last days
and it upsets me greatly. Maybe because I was very close to an
uncle that passed away from cancer? ( although his was stage 4
prostrate, I believe.) Having seen someone you love and are so
close to just waste away is horrific but seeing Patrick in such
a way, even five years after his passing still upsets me to no
end. Perhaps I'm much too sensitive? But I think I'd much rather
remember as he was, healthy and full of life. So sorry to ramble
my dear.

Nope, nope, nope! :(
You are not at all too sensitive and I don't believe there is
such a thing when it comes to subjects of that nature,
especially as you were close with someone who went through
something similar. I still grieve over Michael Jackson's
passing, so you're certainly not too sensitive for being
affected by everything that you've been seeing on Facebook. I
remember joining a few fangroups in the summer of '09, to try
and connect with a bunch of Jackson fans and met an awful lot of
nice people— but there were also those who ruined it for
everyone else. I really don't blame you for reacting as you
have, and definitely wouldn't say you need a better hold on your
emotions; I always tell people to share how they feel, no matter
what it is or how silly it might seem to everyone around them.
You do need a release, everyone does x)
