I'm not sure if I blogged this little secret, if I did and you
read it I do apologize. I, Maggie Flannery have been harboring a
deep dark little crushy type *thing* on *looks around the forum
to see if Little Gary or Jackie is listening* Benedict
Cumberbatch. I have absolutely no idea as to why but he's got
this...I don't know way about him? Could it be the voice?
Cheekbones? I haven't the foggiest but I thought that perhaps
I'd start a thread of support for those of us out there that
have a thing for certain actors/musicians that otherwise go
against our normal tastes. I do however know it's only a tiny
little thing so I'm not worried, I just needed to confess. ;D

P.S. all Benedict things aside it looks like the Wally muse has
popped in, poor dear was still waiting ever so patiently for me.

I adore the hell out of this thread. I needed to start by saying
that, so thank you for creating it. I'm noticing a whole lot of
people are attracted to this man and whilst I just can't see it
myself, I can understand the appeal, on some level. With the way
people describe their attraction toward him, it's easy to
relate. I've liked a select few over the years that are not
really the norm for me, but I think number one out of those
would be Liam Gallagher. I don't even like admitting to that one
and can't really explain the attraction, urgh. It's just one of
those things I guess.
Also, great to hear an old muse has popped back in and you'll be
working on another piece! :] or an old piece, not quite sure
which you meant there, but it's exciting either way! and there's
no rush at all with Jolene. I'm just really happy you want to
write with me on that subject. I know Frank can be a bit of a
nuisance at times so I'll try my best to keep him level. If you
would like me to write up a starter for you over there, I'll
gladly do so. Or, you can write one, whichever you feel most
comfortable with :]

Aww, you're most welcome, my dear. Truth be told, I don't see it
either, it's baffling really. I think it's how he looks in a
certain angle maybe because head on it's like you're looking at
a spiky something or another. I can also see your attraction to
Liam, no worries there. He does have a very nice jaw line.
(Truth be told my older cousin had a massive thing for him when
she was in high school, her room was plastered with print out
and posters of him. Much like mine was with Orlando Bloom.)
I'm so sorry about that! I meant to say that I'll be reworking
my Technological Serendipity fic, I'm not sure if I actually
posted anything about it over here or on ISoP. Had a bit of a
moment there. I've been listening to quite a bit of
Gotye/Florence + The Machine as of late and for some reason it's
sparked something. I've also posted a started on Seduce and
Destroy, I do hope you don't mind. Feel free to change anything
you like my dear, I just hope it's not boring and the
formatting's right. Feel free to let Frank run wild, the sky's
the limit my dear. :-D Thank you so much again for giving me the
opportunity to RP with you by the way, after reading a few of

I think I see the appeal more when it comes to Tom Hiddleston,
to be honest. I can see clearly why people would be attracted to
him. I think I'm actually a little afraid of Benedict � that
sounds really horrible, but I just feel a little weird whenever
he pops up on my tumblr dash and stuff. I have no idea what it
is about him, though. Liam Gallagher sometimes has a look of
George Harrison about him.. depends entirely on the
photograph... otherwise he resembles the arrogant arse that he
is. Ooh! I actually had one or two posters up on my wall of
Orlando Bloom years ago, followed by a number of Depp posters.
No worries! that was probably my fault for not understanding. I
hope you don't have any trouble with it and it doesn't stress
you out too much. That's all I seem to be working with lately,
stress.. can't seem to get rid of it. Also, I just read through
your starter over on ISoP and it's perfect! I'll be replying in
just a few minutes cause I'm really excited for this, you have
no idea. I should be the one thanking you :] I've been tormented
by wanting to test out Frank for a while now and I didn't want
to do that over on tumblr, cause of Ray.. I'd feel really mean
and honestly, can't write him like she does and never would be
able to, aha. So, I really am very glad you wanted to write with
me! I get to explore his character a little more and it'll help
with the essay I'm working on - which is basically an in depth
look at all the messages we get from the film. I've read a lot
of reviews from others in which they explore in great detail
what they think certain factors mean, so I'm currently
struggling through one of those as well.

As of late I've seemingly blown up my Tumblr page with Dirty
Dancing/ Patrick Swayze posts, for that I apologize. I haven't a
clue where all these feels are coming from. I mean he's
certainly not "weird" looking or anything but I still don't
know where the feels are coming from, it was like "Oh, Patrick
Swayze have some feels." and BAM! Knocked sideways. *shrugs* I
give up, I'll enjoy the ride but damn I'd love to know. Ever
have one of those moments? So sorry I'm rambling.

David Thewlis, no idea why or how but the feels are there. I
know I'm attached to Lupin but this is ridiculous. Could it be
because he's got a bookish unassuming quiet quality about him?
I've no idea but it frustrates me.

I generally don't like admitting my attraction to him in
Dragonheart but there's a massive weakness for him as King
Einon... bothered me for years 'cause I always, always try to
find the root of why I find someone appealing and I literally
was unable to do that with him. Very strange.

I know how you feel, I quite liked him as The Frog in Red 2.
Evil little thing he was in that one. Sometimes you just can't
help it, he makes a character - no matter how bad - interesting
and appealing. Could it be his voice or maybe the delivery that
got your attention? I know that sometimes happens to me. ( case
in point Alan Rickman :o ) Although I quite liked him in
Divorcing Jack, something about the underdog and all his trials
really made me find him adorable. I went in with the intention
to drool over Jason Isaacs and ended up falling for David
instead. ;)

I should have never started watching Justified. Seriously,
almost every time I start a TV show feels happen. This is
horrible. Two words here, Walton. Goggins. He's such a greasy
little git on the show that I almost couldn't stand him then the
feels hit me like a ton of bricks. Now, I don't even understand
it. *shrugs* I mean the man no disrespect whatsoever but in
certain photos floating around on the internet he looks like a
Keebler elf that licked a light socket. To say that my mind was
blown by the fact that he was the guy behind the lovely Venus
from SoA is an understatement. Halp. { so sorry about the sizes
}

An elf that licked a light socket! I absolutely love that
description and the first image does make it seem that way, ha.
I pulled a clip up of him in Sons Of Anarchy to see what this
was all about and holy hell, I'm now wanting to write a drabble
involving Venus and Rayon because it reminded me so much of her.
Thank you for introducing this guy to me! I'm so entertained by
Venus; will have to look up some other stuff!!
Also, thank you for bringing this thread back around because
I've had nowhere to vent about my attraction toward Marc Warren
in Hogfather. My dad and I attempted to watch the tv film last
weekend and got fed up after the first half hour [ but I later
found a review saying the first ninety minutes are awful, so
we're going to try watching it again this weekend coming ]. I
went to bed last Saturday with ' Teatime ' on my brain and I
kept putting it off and putting it off, as though it was just my
mind telling me it was purely afraid of the character, because
he is psychotic.
But I thought more about it yesterday and have decided to just
go with it. I do not find Marc himself very attractive in the
slightest, but am concerned regarding my like of deranged men. I
may need to look into that one. Maybe we could help each other a
little there. I will link to a video below so it's skipped ahead
a bit, right to where he appears, as I don't want to bore you
with any unimportant details ;]
