Moments (or Movies) That Just Get You
   DIR By: Maggie Flannery

       ---------------------------------------------------------
I've been meaning to post this for a while but I wasn't sure
where exactly to put it. It basically sums up a movie called
"Cowboy Up", which absolutely wrecked me a few nights ago. I got
so invested in the characters I screamed at one point (which is
featured in the tribute) and came out of my room bawling my eyes
out. My poor mother looked at me and said "You're watching your
Christmas gift finally?" All I could do was nod and sniffle,
talk about a crazy moment. I've honestly never had that happen
before, well unless it's a sappy romantic movie but I was
wrecked. Warning, tissues may be needed! I've already gone
through a box myself just thinking about it. P.S. You've got
every right to smack me for posting this, I'm sorry about the
       Kiefer overload. :D

Oh my :( that was a beautiful tribute, whoever created it
deserves a mention or two, if not more. I haven't seen this
movie and hadn't even heard of it until you mentioned it the
other day. I honestly don't think I could ever give it a watch
though, haha. The ending of that was just awful :( I teared up
immediately when he lost his footing and his leg slipped through
the bar :/ and the fact that his brother (it was his brother
right?) couldn't shoot the bull.. I thought that was quite nice.
Thank you for sharing this! that was really moving <3

I know, I was just wrecked after seeing it. I agree that it's
beautifully created tribute. I think it's just one of those
movies that draws you in, gets you invested in the characters
and then rips your heart out. I'm going to freely admit I'm
still having major feeling for Kiefer's character Hank Braxton
after that, haha. You're right, it was indeed his brother. Those
final words though "That's what he would have done." made me
just, oh god *fans face* feel again, sorry. There might be a
Hank fic brewing after my Sonny one, haha. Feel free to slap me!
I'm glad you enjoyed it though :)

Oh noo! don't you dare suggest I would smack you for wanting to
create a Hank fic! I would definitely look forward to one after
watching that video :D it was a lovely video, and makes me want
to watch the movie - but I know I just couldn't get through it
and it would probably destroy me, haha. I'll choose a moment
when I need to have a good cry, then I'll find that one and give
it a watch :] from what I saw in that clip, it looks a wonderful
movie and more than a little touching. Perhaps I'll be brave
enough to give it a go sooner rather than later!
