Dream Dog

As a pet .. I have always wanted the dog Fluke, or one that
closely resembles him of course. Since the age of nine, he was
my ideal pet. After all this time, my other half has decided
that when we eventually get a dog, it must be a Fluke look a
like. I'm so happy right now, I can't even... I'll just share a
lovely tribute to that beautiful pooch!! :D

Awww! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you :D They really are
wonderful dogs, I'm not sure if Fluke was a mix or a straight up
Golden Retriever but either way you're in for a wonderful
wonderful pet. :D I loved the video!

I've been doing extensive research on what breed he is, but
haven't found anything official unfortunately. I've been trying
to work it out myself for years because no one seems to have a
clue, haha. As far as I can tell, he's a flat-coated retriever,
and apparently they dyed his fur for the movie, which I don't
particularly find amusing.. but some do. Clearly, he didn't
mind! haha.

Aww I can say that I've honestly never heard of a flat coated
retriever, hmm me thinks I'll help you investigate :D Poor
thing, giving him a dye job when he was perfect the way he was,
sheesh. Although they probably used animal safe products it
still stinks. Quite right, the dog didn't mind at all :) I still
can't imagine putting my crew through that. Although I must say
Ginger does enjoy a good "spa" day here when I give her a wash
and a cut. The terriers not so much.

I had never heard of them myself until a few hours ago, haha.
There were quite a few images after I ran a search for them
though, so perhaps Fluke is indeed some form of that particular
breed. Thank you! do let me know if you find anything out. Aww!
it's nice when dogs adore such treatment and let you do pretty
much anything with them, haha. Cats as well, and rabbits even!
the number of videos I have seen online of dogs, cats and
rabbits who enjoy taking baths and such is.. I only wish our two
would like it :]
