       Confession Thread
   DIR By: Wolfy
       Date: November 12, 2012, 9:20 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Simple, simple, simple thread :] all you have to do is confess
to anything you want. It can be entirely out of the blue and it
can be about anything at all that you want to own up to. It can
be good or bad, no one here will judge. Post your confessions
       whenever you want to.
       1. Tom Hardy, forgive me everyone, but he is probably one of the
most beautiful actors I have ever seen, and he has such a
fantastic body. I think I was very much in denial when I decided
that I saw nothing in him at all.
       2. If Kurt Cobain was still alive today and someone once again
asked me who I would rather spend time with; the other being Axl
Rose, I would definitely choose Kurt.
       3. My like for Johnny Depp has fallen from 100 to about 70 since
finding out he is already seeing someone else after his split
with Vanessa, and I'm not ashamed to admit that.
       4. Despite popular belief, I refuse to even think that Kurt
Cobain killed himself. I would strongly suggest people think
twice about making such statements. Look at the way he doted on
his daughter and how his whole perception of life changed after
her birth. The person he was and the person he became after
becoming a father are astoundingly different.
       5. I understand that a lot of people believe all that Axl Rose's
ladies have said about him, but I don't. Not even in the
slightest. I'm well aware of how troublesome the topic may be,
and I am well aware of how common the accusations they made are,
but I just don't see it. Axl, to me, is as innocent as a newborn
       baby.
       6. River Phoenix was a beautiful soul who loved and adored life
and everything about it. That being said, I strongly believe
there was something dark and dangerous going on inside his head
half the time. His role in The Thing Called Love was a good one,
but his acting was simply all over the place and he could barely
focus on what he was doing or saying. He slurred most of his
dialogue, had twitches and grinned like an idiot involuntarily.
I know he was taking drugs, more than his body could handle and
his brain could condone, but to think that such a caring,
loving, free spirited human being was without problems (like
most of his fans seem to think) is beyond me. He was clearly
very troubled and highly disturbed to the point whereby he
couldn't even see straight anymore. His death was heartbreaking,
       but inevitable.
I know I am going to get into a lot of trouble over some of
these, but I had to confess a few things. They have been
bothering me for quite a while now, haha. I've been too chicken
to mention them anywhere, but for some reason I just found the
       courage.

We share quite a few of the same confessions so you're not in
any trouble at all my dear. Besides, this is your forum and I
must say that you're quite brave! I'm sure I'll think of a few
more things later on but here's the first.
       1. My love of Nick Rhodes has gone down a bit after I read a
recent interview with him, he seemed so smug and condescending I
       wanted to throttle him.
       2. Even though I adore the movie Titanic I, for some reason can
not stand Leonardo DiCaprio. Forgive me!
       3. I almost didn't vote in the this past presidential election.
       4. There are days where I simply can not stand my co workers and
have thought about taking a year off to gather myself.
       5. I've gone against my family's faith and am now a member of
       Protestant church.
       6. You may already know this but, I think Jason Isaacs is the
       bees knees :)

Thank you for your understanding! I was scared of posting half
those things because no doubt there are people watching and
waiting to say something and have a go, haha.
Oh dear, I know the feeling of losing respect for people over
something they do/say. That pretty much comes down to how I'm
feeling about Depp at the moment. There have been others though
as well, fairly similar to your first confession there. I've
watched recent interviews of people I like and started to
question why I even liked them in the first place, because
       they've changed so much.
I never vote at all, ever, and even though you said almost, it
wouldn't have been too bad if you didn't, haha.
I had no idea you were having so much trouble with those you
work with. If you did take a year out, would you have something
else to keep you occupied so you weren't driven insane? I know
that, because I haven't actually had a real job since leaving
school four years ago, the madness of being in and around the
house without many tasks has made me a little bonkers. Though,
in all fairness, I think I'm much more fun this way!
Your Isaacs confession made me laugh xD I can't say I approve of
his character or looks in Harry Potter, but I just love him as
Captain Hook and Lord Felton. I must say though, up until a few
days ago, I had absolutely no idea he was in Dragonheart. Then,
I watched it again and was amazed to see him xD haha.

I should have included this confession in my reply there but I
remembered a little too late. Remus Lupin, is not a very
attractive character because of David Thewlis. I see nothing
appealing about that man .. but, in Dragonheart and as King
Einon, he is actually amazingly charming.

You're quite right about David Thewlis. I was flabbergasted when
       I saw him in Dragonheart.
Believe it or not I didn't connect the dots with Jason being
both Captain Hook and Lusious Malfoy until a few years ago.
(Talk about something taking forever to click, haha) What
confirmed my adoration of the dear man was believe it or not his
role of Michael Caffee from the Brotherhood on Showtime. I must
have a thing for Irish mob men? By the way have you by any
chance seen Divorcing Jack? It features both David and Jason and
is a heck of a black comedy.
I'm with you on the Johnny Depp stand, I'm still in shock over
that one. As far as Nick goes I've quite saddened, he's gone
down on my list quite a bit.
The women I work with seem to have a problem with keeping
remarks to themselves and acting in a professional manner around
the children and that boils my blood to no end. I'm sure I'd
have more then enough to keep me busy and more time to dedicate
to my writing. I'd once thought about writing a children's book
but gave up on it. Aww, I can assure you that you'd be fun
       either way!
Quite right about the voting, I'm sure if I hadn't voted it
would have worked out either way. I was even sure who I was
voting for until the night before truth be told, haha. I don't
blame you at all, it's a bit of a chore, at least in these
parts. I ended up waiting in line for an hour. I'm not at all
overly political I just kind of like to keep an even keel. This
might sound daft but I never could make heads or tails of the
       British political parties.

I dislike his character in Dragonheart, of course, but I think
it's the long hair that makes me think twice about his looks,
       haha.
I would never have recognised him as Captain Hook had I not come
across his name in the credits a while back. Now that I'm aware
it's him though, it's easy to see. I don't believe I have ever
seen Brotherhood or Divorcing Jack, but you've sparked my
interest. I'll be looking out for them sometime soon and will
give them a watch. Ah, just the mention of Irish Mobs makes me
think of dear Jackie :D and that movie is currently on my
waiting list to be watched this evening. I love it so much! but
       always skip the end.
It's horrible when someone you think the world of and believe
could do nothing wrong, knocks your like for them back a bit
over something they do or say. I really like Johnny still, but
there's a part of him now that's clear as day, that I never
would have thought existed in him, and it's upsetting.
That's ridiculous. I'd end up reporting them or something,
depending on what they were saying of course. Are they opinions
about the children and the work they do and such? if so, they
really need to find new jobs. I had a go at writing a childrens
book myself some months ago, but I gave up on it too for some
unknown reason. Thank you for the compliment too! :D
Those are my thoughts when it comes to voting, and I get into
trouble with what I believe. It just seems silly to me that one
person might make a difference, though it is very likely that
one vote could mean the difference between good and bad. I just
never really liked the idea of voting for anyone to attempt to
run a country, because everyone in my eyes is entitled to their
own way of life. Ruling one out over another is unfair on the
half that don't succeed, i.e. the people who voted for the one's
who don't win. It's a neverending cycle of cruel I think, haha.
I don't blame you and understand what you mean. I'm not at all
into politics myself either, it gives me a massive headache just
       thinking about it.

The long hair could do it, I always thought he looked a bit like
an Afghan hound with the long hair in Dragonheart and come to
think of it Harry Potter as well, haha. I can promise you that
you're going to like both movies, although Brotherhood is quite
violent but definitely worth a watch. Made me rethink what
defines good and evil. Ahh dear Jackie, I believe that he and
Jason's character Michael would get along quite well indeed.
You're certainly not alone in your love it my friend. I actually
ended up buying the DVD because my VHS finally wore it self out.
I'm still shocked at Johnny as well as Nick and it goes to show
that even the people we hold dear like that have a side to them
that finally shines through. Tsk tsk tsk. I still like them as
well but it really makes me think.
I have indeed filed paperwork with the head director. It was
various opinions of the children in our care, not to mention
their parents as well as other staff and it just doesn't set
well with me. Favoritism has been shown more to the children
that come from wealthy families versus the ones that come from a
working class background and I was livid over it. (Maybe because
I come from a working class family myself but still I treat the
children all the same and they know it.) I was rather snippily
told to shove off and go tend to the infants so that two workers
in-particular could talk amongst themselves. I politely asked to
speak with them both in the staff lounge where the children
couldn't hear where I proceeded to give them both a good tongue
       lashing.
       Aww you're most welcome! :D
I feel the same way, and all of this political mud slinging is
just sickening anymore. After a while how much can anyone take?
I'll send you a bottle of aspirin my dear never fear :)
P.S. Another thing to add to the confessions list :
As many times as I say it doesn't bother me when someone stares
at me (or I hear "look at her back!") because I have tattoos, it
really does. Mind you it's when I'm wearing a pair of shorts or
       a light colored shirt.

Haha! I never did see that before but the image you've just put
in my head is hilarious xD I see what you mean. I tend to stay
away from violence in movies if it's anything like Saw, but
otherwise, I'm good to watch anything, so I'll definitely give
that one a go as well as the other. I am currently watching
State Of Grace as I type this and I'm drooling all over the
place here, haha. I think I will end up purchasing the DVD as
       well soon.
It's going to be difficult to get back on track in the sense
that they aren't really the same people anymore. Or rather, they
aren't who we truly thought they were, if that makes sense. It's
a hard one to work out really. I still like Johnny as well,
among the others who I've seen changes in, but I suppose those
changes were always there and just very well hidden.
Ooh! I'm delighted to hear that you gave them both a good
talking to. I would have done exactly the same thing. How dare
they judge the children based on their backgrounds. I come from
a working class family as well and that would have really sent
me over the edge to hear people I work with picking and choosing
       between the little ones.
Thank you, and I'm glad we're in agreement over politics :] I
think, the reason why I dislike it all so much is because it
just doesn't make any sense to me, haha. I'm quite dopey when it
comes to things like that, things that matter (unfortunately). I
have no idea how far that will get me through life but we'll
have to see about that. I just don't think any of it is fair, at
least not for everyone. Things should be equal :]
Staring has been an issue for me since I was in lower school,
and it still tends to happen a lot. I haven't got any tattoo's
or anything as such though, so I have absolutely no idea why
people stare and it's unnerving. I managed to freak someone out
once though, with their staring. Even though they were the ones
who were looking at me, haha. I just turned my head because I
felt eyes on me, and I sat there for ages just staring blankly
at them. It even sounds creepy now that I'm typing it xD and it
       seemed to work wonders.
Confession - Now that I'm watching Jackie Flannery, another
story idea just popped into my head. Honestly, they are like
plot bunnies. Utterly determined to ruin everything else you
have going on at the moment, haha.

I'm telling you the DVD is soo worth it. Two words, screen caps!
:D Aye indeed I did and I'm quite proud I left out the sailor
talk, haha. Darn! I didn't think to stare back, I'll have to
give it a go next time. Ooh, darn those plot bunnies! That sound
very very interesting, I myself am working something up with
dear Michael/Jason at the moment that I hope you'll enjoy. I
should have the banner up later on this evening.

Hehe xD I will definitely be looking out for it soon. Maybe I
should ask for it for Christmas, if I can wait that long for it.
Do let me know how they react to you staring back at them. Some
people will sit there and just have a staring contest with you
for ages and it's kinda weird, haha. Most of the time though,
they will realise their mistake or find you creepy and just give
up. Oo, I'm very excited to be reading something about Isaacs!!
:D never read fiction about him before, so this should be
interesting. Aye, the plot bunnies are evil little fluffers. I
have my story all planned out already, so I'm going to have to
let my River story hit pause for a bit while I write about
lovely Jackie :] I remember the last one I wrote about him, and
know I can do better, so hopefully this one proves that! haha.
