       Happy Halloween!

Just wanted to pop by and wish you all a very very happy all
Hallow's Eve, Samhain, Hallows Even etc . It seems that this
year I shall be spending my day at home due in part to a stomach
bug and Hurricane Sandy. The East coast got hit pretty hard by
it all and now comes the clean up, ugh. If we do get trick or
treaters we're stocked but I doubt they'll even bother coming
out due to road closing and the like. So, my question to you is
how do you ring in the "lifting of the veil between two realms?"
We decided to go traditional this year and carve out turnips
like our lovely Celtic ancestors, we make the traditional meal
of Colcannon, Boxty, Barmbrack and mulled cider. (I'd gladly
post the recipes if anyone is interested.) Whatever you
celebrate I hope you're all happy, safe, and having a good time.

I am so sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. I hope
that you are well again very soon, do let me know when you're
feeling alright. I've been following the latest news about
Hurricane Sandy and it's horribly sad. The majority of people I
know online live around those areas, including yourself, and I
have been worrying quite a bit about everyone. Normally, we
carve pumpkins, decorate the house and dress up for Halloween,
but this year has been quite different. I haven't even really
felt in the mood to celebrate, which is very shocking, haha. I
can't say that I've ever heard of those meals before, but if you
would be kind enough to share the recipes then I would
       appreciate it :D
I hope you are enjoying Halloween!
