       Documentary Suggestions

       I thought this would be interesting to spread around. I'm sure
       we've both watched quite a few documentaries and thought "Ooh,
       someone would love this." I'll start off, I stumbled across this
       particular documentary about a year ago and was entranced. Now,
       given my family background ( I could from a long line of miners
       on both sides of my family all of which are split down the Mason
       Dixon line, haha.) I thought it would be an interesting thing to
       watch. This broke my heart but it also gave me tons of
       information as well as sparked a creative process, you'll have
       to wait to see where it ends up haha. I'm still waiting too. The
       title of doc. is Harlan County USA, if you're interested. I'll
       also post a trailer link for you. If you ever stop up around my
       neck of the woods I dare say a field trip to the Lackawanna Coal
       Mine Tour might just be in order.

       Pardon the late response to this post. I was going to respond
       last night when you posted it, but I was having major flash
       player trouble so the video wouldn't play. Then, it did play and
       the sound had disappeared. I'm not quite sure it's fixed yet,
       but I managed to watch it just now and everything was fine, so
       fingers crossed haha.
       Even though it's a short clip, it is very interesting and the
       topic its based on intrigues me anyway. I think I may look
       around for further videos of this particular subject now that
       you've sparked my interest. The music at the end reminded me a
       lot of Fried Green Tomatoes and Of Mice & Men, though I'm not
       entirely sure why that is. Anyway, thank you for sharing this
       informative video and I can't wait to see what kind of ideas its
       inspired for you! :D
