Dark Knight Rises Shooting

I wanted to create a sort of memorial for the twelve people who
were killed during this shooting just the other day. The gunman
opened fire during a midnight screening of the new Batman movie
in Colorado, killing twelve and injuring fifty. This is a
tribute thread to the lives lost, paying respect to those
involved and their loved ones.

First, I'd like to thank you for doing this. It was such a shock
to wake up this morning and hear this all over the news. About
twenty minutes later I recieved a phone call from a friend of
mine that lives out in Utah, evidently she and her fiance were
going to visit his parents who live right in Aurora and were
thinking of seeing the movie at the midnight showing.
Thankfully, they ended up with car trouble and they didn't go.
Secondly, I hope that those that were lost in this heinous crime
are able to rest in peace. I also offer my sincere and
heartfelt condolences to their families even though it might not
seem like much, I would like each of them to know that they are
in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless and keep them.

I wanted to do something as a sign of respect for both those who
lost their lives and those who are recovering in hospital at the
moment. I'm so glad to hear your friend and her partner ended up
having car trouble. I can't even understand why any of it
actually happened in the first place :/ there was absolutely no
motive whatsoever. It's such a shock when you realise just how
dangerous some people can be. I'd be very interested in knowing
why, but thus far, nothing has come of that. There's no excuse
either way, and I feel for those people who have lost loved
ones.
