BF2Hub, anyone tried it?

I reinstalled BF2 from my DVD. I installed the BF2hub, all is
green. Synced my accounts, but when I click start BF2 I get the
splash screen, the DVD spins up but then right back to desktop.
Anyone try this and have any suggestions?

I don't have my physical copies of the disks for Bf2 anymore. :(

You shouldn't need the DVD if you have installed all the
patches. Have you patched up to v1.50? You can get it here:

I just did a reinstall of my os so all is lost. lol

Another full reinstall did the trick, but there are not many
players left out there and most of them are dicks that can't be
bothered to play by the rules anymore. Almost ready to give it
up for good.

Why people are moving to other games that are supported and
monitored.
But, they have there problems as well.

yes i still play bf2 because i cant get a free copy of bad
company 2 or bf3.... and im limted to what i can play :/ but
most the time my net isnt the best and i cant even walk in a
straight line due to jitter i guess it is..
but i did manage to go 92 and 2 :) tired my kill streak again at
61 :) so hahaha im kinda a prick but that was following the
rules :) ( which i always follow the rules unless some prick is
on )
