Welcome to modern Earth.
That is all.
In this story, that is all you need to know to start.
You create your character. You may use any back story you wish,
as long as it doesn't relate to, or conflict with another
character's plotline.
Your character's entrance into the scene, can be anything, may
it be natural birth, summoning, alien invasion, or whatever.
Your character's role? Anything. Good, evil, neutral, any
purpose. (As long as not 4th wall breaking...)
Now, this is the fun part. You may select 5 powers or abilities
for your character. These may be of any magnitude. The
limitations, however, is that a power must be counter-able in
some way, or come with a weakness. . For example, (a generic
one), super-strength, however giving the user slow movement
speed. Or perhaps, the ability to make an unbreakable
force-field on one side, but leaves them completely vulnerable
on the other. etcs.
(But for the love of all things holy, nothing regarding time
manipulation or travel, or anything that blatantly or
purposefully breaking logic and the laws of physics, e.g.
walking or running with a broken leg without heals, or ignoring
getting hit/killed. And no complete immortality.)
The story is up to you. Interact with others on your own choice,
your goals are you own. You get one character, one life. (No
instant killing, though, deaths should be agreed between
writers, or otherwise voted on by the majority of participants)
This is a test to see how this type of cst might work.

Unless Epsy says otherwise, I'm disallowing innate power
immunity, because it defeats the point of the CST.
Name: Kaycii Riiverr
Powers:
Kaycii's consciousness is split between five people from five
different worlds/dimensions. These are:
Casey River, a boy from normal, modern-day Earth.
K-see Ryyverr, a girl from a futuristic world with
incredibly advanced technology available to the masses.
Caysy Rivvur, a boy from a dystopian world where humanity
has devolved into traveling gangs after the zombie apocalypse.
River Casey, a girl from a world that is similar to
modern-day Earth, but with everything but the fundamental laws
of physics reversed.
K@533 R11V3R, a robot caretaker of the Matrix that enjoys
video gaming and trolling N008 robots.
However, Kaycii often has difficulty determining which of their
bodies is in which world, leading to confusion.
Kaycii can move any object they can hold in their hands between
dimensions, but doing so makes their selves become even more
mixed up.
Kaycii can sequester one or two of their selves and prevent
these selves from feeling the sensations of others/mixing
themselves up with others, but this makes Kaycii's control over
them much less fine.
Each of Kaycii's selves possesses elemental powers that they can
use their second power on to move between dimensions, but their
total energy storage is shared and thus it is very difficult for
more than two powers to be used at once. Casey has control over
wind and air, K-see has control over water, Caysy has control
over fire, River has control over earth, and K@533 has control
over electricity.
If one of Kaycii's selves dies, they can transport one of their
selves from a different dimension to replace the one that died.
However, this large dimensional crossover has side effects,
causing other elements from each dimension to leak through. If
all five of Kaycii's selves die, Kaycii dies.

Bio:
K-see Ryyverr
A teenage girl living in a futuristic society (Airstrip 42)
where there is no such thing as hunger or disease across the
world. The society, after setting up solar panels to cover
their entire Sun, has effectively infinite energy. She interns
in a lab using quantum mechanics to connect to different
dimensions. However, when she accidentally activated the
Para-Local Otherworld Tower while still inside it, she ended up
gaining a shared consciousness of five people from five
different worlds. She owns a Damaging Electrical Uber-Surefire,
a multi-setting gun available to citizens of Airstrip 42. She
also has a uPhone, an incredibly advanced smartphone with a
Thynkstream app, which enables her to read the thoughts of those
around her on her uPhone screen.
Caysy Rivvur
A boy living in a dystopian city known only as the Haven, where
people are pushed to their limits due to the constant threat of
zombies outside. The zombie apocalypse started when
mind-control nanobots gained sentience and decided (for some
unknown reason) to start targeting humanity. These zombies,
while lacking fine motor control or emotions, are still
perfectly alive. Caysy is technically a zombie, having been
swarmed by the nanobots, but the shared consciousness he has
enables him to function normally. Kaysii can draw on his lack
of emotion or pain to accomplish tasks, and his time spent
fighting zombies makes him a ruthless killer.
River Casey
A girl living in a world similar to our Earth (human biology is
pretty similar, for instance), but with some major societal
components reversed. These will be revealed (read: decided) as
the story goes on, but here are some examples:
-Rare materials like gold and silver are not valued; common
materials are prized.
-Gender roles/stereotypes are swapped.
-School and advanced education are considered domains for people
too weak to do actual work.
-Homosexuality is the norm; heterosexuality is considered an
oddity but is gaining acceptance. Test tube babies are common.
River is an incredibly popular girl at her labor camp, and
virtually everyone loves her. She is already a minor celebrity
known for her work ethic and massive charm.
K@533 R11V3R
Robots enslaved humanity and started to use them as a fuel
source, putting them in a simulation known as The Forum.
However, many began to develop human traits, particularly a
penchant for video gaming. The calculational skills of robots
make them exceptionally avid video game players, although they
sometimes lack in the strategy department. K@533's job is to
supervise the Matrix and play with the people inside, but it
mostly plays video games like shooters and MMOs. K@533's
favorite game is DATA. Kaysii can draw on K@533's incredible
calculation abilities to easily solve mathematical problems.
Casey River
A perfectly normal boy, though a bit introverted and shy,
Casey's life was turned upside down when he gained a shared
consciousness with four other people.

Biography:

She was born to a wealthy family descended from British
aristocracy. Her father, as far as the general populace is
concerned, is a human being. He is of the Astor lineage, a minor
noble lineage. Her mother, a Roata, made friends with a certain
group in Orchis and arranged for her enrollment in Deose
eventually. ((Uses mother's surname.))
As a member of of the executive student body (SIS), she works
with the others in hosting gatherings and activities. The
executive heads of the student body has a formal group with
occasional meetings discussing the affairs of the school,
sometimes accompanied by various teachers.
She's charismatic, shrewd, resourceful, frivolous with money
spending, has good grades, in the social rings near the top,
etc.
Appearance: Sleek black hair, ~67 inches tall. Stuff.
Interests:
Tea drinking, latest news, development of new things that may
change the structure of society, clothing that fits her tastes,
British/Chinese/Japanese/German history, reading, chess, the
prospect of people brawling, mixed martial arts, extorting
people for blackmail material, kicking, Spori spirits, learning
German/Japanese, macaroons, tea, biscuits, kicking tins,
chatting, meddling with others affairs, new things,
intellectuals, this and that, estimating the xx/xx/xx, school
uniform, tea, g****s, narcissus (flower), lily, lotus, floral
arrangements ((note not in order))
Personality Quirks:
Frivolous of money, doesn't always use common sense, impulsive
(slightly), abusive (verbally), adventurous, not great at
reading the atmosphere, cares for self benefits above all else,
dislikes snakes (would like to exterminate them),

Has multiple pet mice that she keeps. Primary two are named

After a large chain of interesting events, Mei Hua dies at the
age of 32. She reincarnates in the modern day (same birthday as
original, ~1996-1998).
Basically, in the original Maalumverse/Deoseverse, the United
States falls into complete anarchy. Nuclear launch codes are
obtained by Christian extremists who believe that Judgement day
should be decided by the people and try to hasten its progress.
Siberia and the west coast of the United States are completely
irradiated. Cho becomes a public speaker for peace but the
masses have grown to fear the existence of powers. Cho is shot
by a sniper rifle and dies hours later having a major artery
destroyed.
Zeek falls into a hysteric rage and manifests a flaming replica
of Cho that rampages through England and thoroughly destroys
most of Deose Academy. The armed forces are brought in to try to
subdue the flaming giant and the flying dragon but Zeek has
formed a giant crystalline carapace made of some purple
substance that high powered explosive charges are completely
ineffective. Jakob manages to kill Zeek but becomes encased in
the carapace indefinitely. Stella commits suicide. Tal dies in
the nuclear fallout of the United States. Everyone else
basically dies for some reason for another.

Name: Proto Core Nymph, "Maeve"
Powers (Up to 5):
Generate Core: The default power source of Maeve. Providing a
nearly infinite energy recourse, the core also generates a
strong magnetic field. This field can be used to guard against
projectiles, as well as give low-hovering capabilities. However,
this shield is ineffective against an on-slot of projectiles,
such as a shot from a shot gun, or getting fired at by modern
machine guns. These will overwhelm the shield and penetrate.
Maeve can hover up to 1 foot height. The core is also able to
harness 'Natural energy', or otherwise, a low form of magic, but
has comparability issues.
Drive Change: Refocusing energy allocation, Maeve alters her
skills and abilities. Changing mode, other than Overdrive, puts
a strain on the Core, and cannot be changed in rapid succession.
Annihilation mode setting, physical strength and speed
increased, but defensive shields severely lowered.
Defensive Stance mode setting, shields activate at full
force, but all movements become lowered, almost still.
Flight mode setting, alters core engines to allow complete
flight and maneuverability, increasing speed as well. defenses
and offences, easily knocked down.
Overdrive mode setting, takes away safety perimeters, and
all points increased, however slightly unstable, and demands a
cooldown time to recharge approximately 10 times the time Maeve
was in Overdrive. Very long in this setting highly risks
complete Core destruction.
Complete Stealth: Altering the magnetic pulses, Maeve may turn
herself completely invisible, or change her outward appearance
to that of another person. Invisibility, however, does not block
out sounds, and appearance altering does not change actual
physical built, nor hide Maeve's lack of life signals. Her other
abilities become less effective while this state is active.
Heartbreaking Lasers: If when in combat, Maeve charges up hits
and energy, which she utilizes as an offensive laser bream.
These beams have various uses, being capable of width and
intensity changes, as well as wavelength modification. Ranging
from a millimeter width, up to a powerful and consuming 5 feet,
the beams can be used to potentially eradicate an enemy.
However, they lack penetrative power, and easily reflected by
heat-resistant mirrors or similar reflective surfaces. They also
take a good deal of energy to consume, when using larger,
damaging beams.
Heaven's Sword: The greatest offence of Maeve. Using up a large
amount of magical, as well as electrical energy, Maeve activates
a 5th mode, an enhanced, Overdrive mode, giving little stress to
the Core, and an evens stronger boost in physical capabilities.
As she does this, the opens up a gate in-front of her, summoning
forth the Heaven's Sword, a powerful weapon for combat. This
massive sword has offensive and defensive capabilities, lifted
only by the strength granted by the enhanced Overdrive. This is
only temporary, however, as after a short time, the magic and
extra electric energy's run out, the sword dematerializing with
the lack of energy, and Maeve's body unable to support the
Overdrive mode. After use, she becomes ineffective at using any
other power for a short period. Takes a long time to charge.
Gender: None, due to being a robot, but has the outward
appearance of a female.

Age or aprox age: 60's, approximately.
Bio: Maeve is an alien exploration robot, sent by a distant,
outer civilization, estimated to be 6 to 7 light years away.
After crashing onto Earth, Maeve's only objective was to studie
humans. However, after a few months of studying, she began to
learn human emotions, after simulating them in study, and began
focus to learning more than just humans.
Approximately 5'5", Maeve appears to be of a young girl, with
long white-blue hair at a little past shoulder length. Nearly
perfectly white at the roots, and turns more blueish as it goes
down more. Her eyes are a dark purple.
History: Developed in an alien planet, Maeve was a prototype
exploration unite, designed to be part of a squad-rent of units
sent to Earth after it's discovery, as well as the humans
inhabiting it. However, due to errors in the advanced radio
particle transmission, Maeve was the only was the only
'survivor' of the 50 year trip, and her herself had fatal errors
that weakened her overall capabilities, as well as loosing
contact with the home planet.

Name: Aridra Kyrin, "Isa"
Powers:
Hypothermia: Isa can shoot ice at others instantly freezing
them, sometimes Shock is applied. After an hour minutes, the ice
melts, but leaves the person it was used on with hypothermia.
Xtra Shock: She zaps people with electricity, enables her to
also travel at the speed of light when not using it for attack
or defense, sometimes Ice is applied.
Power Steal: This allows Isa to be able to use a random power
from someone else, as long as it exists. She doesn't even have
to see it being used.
Memory Steal: Unwillingly, Isa will be able to see into
someone's mind. She will be able to anticipate what they are
going to do, but if their thoughts are deadly, it affects her
for at least 10 minutes. This can also be used to erase parts of
someone's memory (Fortunately this is always controlled). This
move can also protect her from moves that steal powers, bodies,
and more. It does not protect her from damage from something
like
a projectile power, or any other physical powers.
Weaknesses: Isa can't control which one happens when she tries
to use either Hypothermia or Xtra Shock (*Exception, when she is
very determined, it works, but she doesn't know that) . To keep
someone frozen for a long time, Isa must use Hypothermia once
every hour, and this drains her energy (she also might end up
shocking the person). Occasionally, she has no control of any
powers. Using Power Steal leaves her super weak, and it takes at
least two hours to get better after using it.
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Bio: Aridra was born on Earth, but abandoned on the street. She
was taken to an orphanage, and then was adopted by a lab that
was testing random stuff on her. The result was incredible (the
guys in the lab don't know. She broke out and killed them all by
accident, one of the times that she lost control). She left and
found an abandoned house about 100 miles away (it took her a
whole year to find a place where she could have privacy) nearby
where she still stays. There is a room (which basically ruined
on the inside) where she practices and tries to control her
powers (for Memory Steal, she goes to another room with a window
and uses it on innocent people walking by). Unfortunately, she
has used Memory Steal on herself and she became very different
(basically evil) for two years. Occasionally this happens, and
she commits vile deeds. As of now, she is her normal super kind
self, but who knows when she will change.
History: Born into a rich family, but her mom had too many kids,
so she was LITERALLY thrown into the street (she doesn't know
that, but she has scars which she thinks is from being tested
on).
Appearance: Too lazy to do now, coming sometime soon.

Name: Michael Weston
Powers:
Dark Matter- Michael can, upon contact with any matter in
physical form, convert it into dark matter, which is pitch black
and nearly indestructible. He can also touch the ground and make
it erupt into large dark-matter spikes and turn parts of his
body into dark matter, multiplying defense and physical ability.
The more he uses this, the more drained he becomes. His main
source of energy is food, like anyone else.
Gender: Male.
Age or aprox age: 16-17.
Bio: There is an alternate universe somewhere out there. The
landmasses are re-arranged and history has take an entirely
different route. None of the nations are the same as you'd
recognize. This universe is currently in the year 1875, and
Princess Augustine of the Arkian Empire still desires the
mysterious artifacts that tease her with their strange
abilities. Recently she has sent her royal agent, Michael
Weston, to retrieve something nicknamed 'The Gate". Upon
contact, however, the agent disappeared.
He now finds himself in a strange new world.
History:
Back in his home world, Michael often fought with the elusive
organization known as Spectre-Oblivion, especially a young man

[center] Meet Gentu, the Vermilion Behemoth.[/center]
“Sure. The mortals know to avoid screeching cries and
earsplitting howls. That’s just instinct.
But the mortals have developed a new instinct;
the moment they hear that muffled, savage roar, they know
they’ve made a terrible mistake.”
Gentu is the last remaining Xolgorath after the mass extinction
event that killed millions. Now wandering without true purpose,
he harbors vengeance against the ones responsible for the
genocide. However, while wandering the wastelands of his former
home, he suddenly fell to unknown magic. After years of slumber,
Gentu has awoken in a new, unfamiliar planet -- Earth. He has
acquired new powers in this new environment, and now feels his
transport here was no mere accident. Gentu now wanders Earth
with his rage still intact, knowing the clues he needs to exact
revenge are here.
The beast easily tops 10 feet while on four legs, and with such
a bulky physique and carnassial teeth, he could easily fight the
strongest of creatures. Gentu has his own, ancient language,
long dead after the Xolgoraths were wiped out. The ground
trembles beneath him as he walks, and even the wind quakes when
he roars. The fur on the tips of his forearms have turned from
mainly a royal purple to both a dark brown and purple. The blood
of his unfortunate victims has stained his teeth. Every blood
splatter tells a story.
With his arms, he can pound the ground with destructive force,
creating earthquakes around him of which he is immune to damage
from. He possesses great strength and his speed is nothing to
scoff at -- however, turning proves to be problematic,
especially against very agile foes. Gentu’s skin is resistant to
all attacks, especially to physical ones. The effect of magical
attacks vary depending on the spell, but may also be brushed off
if it is weak. When in great danger or close to death, he
harnesses the power of the Ascended Xolgorath, becoming engulfed
in rage and reaching ungodly levels of power, enough to make
great mountains crumble. This however has a drawback as it
fades, and becomes crippled for a few days or so. Gentu has also
gained the ability to manipulate the cosmos to his advantage,
and can harness magical energy from it. He can call meteors down
to strike an area, causing great catastrophe to the area
affected; unfortunately this power is limited and can render him
weak for a short duration, while not channeling the power of the
Ascended Xolgorath.

Name: Jaldae Kahnnas
Powers (Up to 5):
Demon's Grip: Kahnnas has no powers of his/her own but instead
can take over the bodies of others and grant them incredible
ability of his own choosing. The powers are nearly unlimited
with exception to physically impossible things such as unlimited
energy, time travel, etc. He may only inherit a body for 24
hours at a time and may not use the same power twice. He has to
use a different power every time. He also must take a break in
between bodies for at least three hours to rest. During this
time he is vulnerable, as he is in his default form, a harmless
19 year old Girl/Boy.
Gender: ?
Age or aprox age: ?
Bio: Kahnass's personality changes with each host, and his goals
are somewhat shady. He seems to not want chaos or evil, but acts
to create excitement. His one published letter states he wishes
to show the world power and let them make what they will with
it.
History: Strange happenings involving teens and young adults
gaining incredible power and then losing it after a day began
showing up around three months ago.

1. Plop: makes the ground move intensely by plopping on his
side.
2. Skittle Breath: vomits rainbows causing Paralysis.
3. Flashback: has flashbacks of vietnam
4. Satanic Ritual: draws a pentagram into the ground, sacrifices
a goat and summons a demon
Gender: male
Age: 5 months
Bio: Poofy Was born and raised in West Philadelphia with Will
Smith but then his parents died idontknow. Now he's an awesome
wizard.
History: poofy was a veitnam war veteran who helped Tom Hanks
make his hit movie Forest Gump.
