Internet Protocol Address Modification

It's pretty simple when you hear it.
Method 1: Proxies and/or VPNs
This usually costs money. The benefit is that there is no need
to change your IP address manually.
EDIT: Proxies give you IPs of countries that don't track
computers. A really good proxy changes your IP every 5 minutes.
Method 2: Hack a neighbor's wifi
This is not recommended, because this can get you in trouble.
This method connects you to their modem, so you use their IP
address.
EDIT: Already explained.
Method 3: Modem
This is the most simple way that will avoid trouble. The steps
are below.
1. Make sure no one is using the internet.
2. Find your modem, and unplug it.
3. Wait for 5 minutes, then plug it back in. If it doesn't work,
leave it unplugged overnight and see if it worked in the
morning.
4. Boom, when you log in, you will have a different IP!
EDIT: Modems change your IP every second (websites tend not to
keep track of the changes), so when you unplug it and plug it
back in, it will change your viewable IP.
Using any of these ways to attempt to get around any form of
ban/moderation is strictly not allowed on the forums, and in
almost any other place this applies.

Apparently I have a different IP address every day because my
dad unplugs our modem at night when he goes to bed. [s]which is
sad for me since I'm usually still on the internet by then

You can see your IP at the bottom right corner of your posts.

Sorry to say this, but to me, this sounds like "How to Get
Around IP Bans 101." Other people's opinions might be different,
however, so I will continue to keep the thread open.

I modified Method 3, I realized I made an error (no huge
differences though).
