Reformatting Gamestar Forum

As of late, there's been discussion of cutting off GSM aspects
of Gamestar Forum altogether. This would mean creating one
separate board for existing threads, moving all Gamestar-related
threads to this one board, and deleting GSM-oriented boards such
as Design Teams and Show Off. In doing so, we will no longer be
a forum for Gamestar Mechanic, and the focus will no longer be
on it. Bear in mind, while we do this, you can still view and
use the already created threads, but this forum will no longer
have them as its primary focus. Users will be strongly
encouraged instead to post their GSM games to here
HTML http://reddit.com/r/gamestarmechanic,
which is a much more
streamlined place based in reddit. While all of this is
happening, we ourselves will still be called "Gamestar Forum".

Why exactly do we have to reformat? We already tossed GSM so
what's the point of changing anything?

The community section is creating clutter, so I want to remove
it.

I like the format the way it is due to a purely nostalgic
standpoint.

Yes yes yes a thousand times yes. The forum setup is confusing
to new users, and altering it would do wonders. You've got to
overcome your change aversion if you want to make an
improvement.
