Nick, to Anne

Yes! Yes! Yes!
It's slightly strange that King George III's song to the
colonies works this well as Nick's song to Anne.
Note: I'll not be doing a video-game-style death scene for Nick.

Alright. Time to kick it into high gear. I suggest the next post
(by nitrox) kills diamond saber, unless MS objects.

Yeah that's fine. I'd like to make a post right after Saber of
Diamonds dies though.
EDIT: Actually maybe right before the moment he dies. Like the
part he gets fatally wounded and is practically dead but not
yet.

My apologies if the Cody post I recently did seemed a little
over-the top. It hinges on the fact that Cody didn't know that
Barney's Code, the code he stole from the late Professor Barney
Birk's code, was made possible by the Sanctum Key. As it's a
living code, using it on Madeline gave her a soul, meaning he
doesn't know if she's at the key's mercy or not.

Nick had a song.
Kirin gets one, too.

Death doesn't discriminate
Between the sinners and the saints
It takes and it takes and it takes
History obliterates
In every picture it paints
It paints me and all my mistakes
When the Destroyer aimed
At her heart
She may have been the first one to
die,
But I'm the one who paid for it
I survived, but I paid for it

Well then.
I was about to wrap up the Kirin and Hera scene with this, but
box decided to swoop in and put the spotlight on maria pointing
to the problem of an expiring enemy hundreds of miles away with
no real potential to become a threat. You can see his post on
the main thread, but here's what I was going to put. Perhaps I
could challenge a sort of mini-sanctum battle, where you all
decide which of our posts should be canon.
EDIT: Sierra and I have sort of come to an agreement that box
and I should try to negotiate a situation in which Maria's post
comes after mine, somewhat trimmed to make canonical sense.
How's that sound, box?
Kirin
Riza's crooked but naive smile passed through his thoughts,
again and again. "Riza would've wanted... an end to the
conflict, I think. Maybe she pictured a reality where there
would be no more need for combat magic. Crests and bloodlines
wouldn't mean anything. And living weapons, people that were
designed like me..." He shivered. "There'd finally be no need
for us." He slowly stood up and walked back over to Riza's body.
In the snow, she still had the black liquid dripping from her
mouth and chest wound, but she looked as radiant and delicate as
a young angel. With great care, he slowly wrapped his arms under
her neck and knees, carrying her to flatter ground. Like a
father with a sleeping child he lowered her in the fresh layer
of snow, and then spent a few moments adjusting her hair to look
just right. After this he took one of the shovels their group
was using hours earlier and began to dig beside her, careful not
to allow a single speck of dirt to touch her.

I started the post before the Cody one. Didn't work as well
after that so yeah, feel free to just use this and just continue
on since I won't have time to fix it anyways before sometime
very late.
