Jack O'Lantern
Jack summoned a second pumpkin and twirled both his
pumpkins on his pinkie fingers like a basketball player would do
with basketballs. Then, he tossed the pumpkins in the air and
caught them with his pinkie fingers, and continued twirling. He
repeated this as he spoke.
"I am the most wondrous Jack O'Lantern!"

Donning his mask, Tom stood atop a tall building and looked over
the academy, grinning ear to ear. He jumped down to the
courtyard with a somersault and landed on his feet, then took a
dramatic evil pose and yelled, "HUZZAH!"
No one payed him any attention. "Meh, that usually doesn't work
anyway..." he muttered.
Lizzy
"Lizzy, do you think that strawberries are real fruit?" her
friend asked her. The two were in the lunch room.
"*Munchcrunch...* ...Mmmph?" She replied.
"Nevermind..." Lizzy sat back down and continued eating.

The Bitter Melon
Herbert scanned the room to see who would make the best and
first bittermelonist.
Seth is pretty cautious. I should get to know him better first.
Guthrie is far too weird and freakish. I'll have to work on
that.
Orlando seems like a pretty good bet, but I'd prefer to talk to
him without so many people around.
Tom is pretty daring. Daredevils are good, but unpredictable.
I'll have to study him first.
Jack's skills would be great for my crew, but he's also a
daredevil.
I'll find out the best way to deal with these guys. For now,
I'll check the lunch room.
Herbert placed something on Orlando's clothes (without him
noticing) and walked down to the lunch room and looked around.
Instantly, he saw a young girl.
Young people are easy to manipulate. I'll talk with her, maybe I
can even recruit her friend.
Herbert walked up to them.
"Hello. My name is Herbert."
