Nathan
((A note: Nathan was rather well-read and intelligent for a
teenager, in his old life; as a result, the psychosis he is
going through has affected his speech patterns to emulate
literary figures he respects, among them Titus Andronicus,
Mercutio, Prospero, Hamlet, and Aaron the Moor. All Shakespeare
characters, of course.))
This boy was fairly powerful; a level 12. Nathan leapt to
another treetop, careful not to make a sound so as to alarm the
target. He whispered to himself quietly:
"Vengeance is in my heart, death in my hand
Therefore I tell my sorrows to the trees;
Who, though they cannot answer my distress,
Yet in some sort they're better than the men,
For that they will not intercept my tale:
When I do weep, they humbly at my feet
Receive my tears and seem to weep with me;
And, were they but attired in grave weeds,
Earth could afford no human like to these.”
"And yet I find my sorrow does increase.
For why is it that those which we hold dear
Must in war seek blood and death and fear.
Does fate demand that happiness must cease?
What Gods above allow such violence
When all that all men desire is peace?"
Nathan sighed. He had long since accepted the necessity of
destroying every living thing he met; it was proper, in case it
was one of THEM. He would not waver in this act, but the piece
of morality inside him still shrieked in pain. He took careful
aim and fired his crossbow, aiming for the neck, where a
critical hit was most likely. A direct shot. The level 12's hp
dropped significantly as he cried out in shock and pain. Not
enough to kill, however. Nathan's hand was raised and swung
downward in a deadly arc, tendrils of electricity flaring out
towards the PC. The convulsions increased, rapidly, as the
drain on Nathan's mana increased and the drain on the boy's hp
similarly quickened. A fatality. The level up window appeared;
announcing that Nathan had achieved level 16. But he felt no
rush of warm emotion, not a flicker of content. He was far too
busy staring at the burn marks on the body, from the entrance
and exit points of the lightning, where flesh had blackened and
shriveled.
"May peace and honor rest you here, comrade
For you were a worthy warrior indeed.
Alas, no soldier's joy in lust and battle
But merely disgrace and disgust for fallen friends.
Fare thee well, dear friend, and good night."
Nathan first took to the task of removing the boy's items. A
mage staff was rather uncommon; he would keep it. The small
pouch of gold as well. The armor was unnecessary as it would
only slow him down. The rest would be left for the worms.
Nathan now fired a shock into the hard ground, forcing energy
and static electricity into the packed dirt. The earth visibly
loosened, as particles of dust came apart, and now Nathan
reached down and could dig easily. He pushed aside layer after
layer of softened earth, until it was about 6 feet long and 6
inches deep. He lay the body there, face up, and smiled through
his tears. The boy could almost be sleeping. Nathan, using a
stick he found nearby, slowly and neatly wrote the lettering at
the top.
LEVEL 12.
USERNAME Xx_Cowboy44_xX.
A worthy opponent.
Beneath that, he drew out his symbol,
HTML http://i.imgur.com/dL92NM6.png.
He could not make an actual
grave; this was the best he could do for his victims. He hoped
it was enough.
"Farewell, once more, dear comrade, and adieu."
Nathan turned back to the trees, and fled into the woods once
more.

((Oh, I'm assuming Nathan is currently close-ish to the same
suburb where 9 and Klisifure are, after leaving a trail of about
a dozen or so "graves", most level threes and fours. Anyone can
feel free to stumble across one of these if they so desire.
Nathan
Nathan has finally arrived at what had been his destination for
a while now; namely, a large-ish suburb, without the high-level
NPC guards to keep PKs out. He was getting rather tired of
stumbling around through the woods, and he had in any case
successfully accumulated quite a sum. He had yet to spend
anything, but he desperately needed ammo for his crossbow. He
would not deal with anyone he came across, for there was always
the possibility that they were one of THEM. Indeed, he sincerely
hoped that people here would be smart enough to ignore a level
16 with the PK message. There was no way to be certain, however,
and it was after all possible that a level 17 or 18 was here to
pick a fight, so Nathan walked quickly and with both eyes
frantically searching for an ambush. He briefly scanned the
information of every player he passed. Level 1, Level 1, Level
3, Level 1, Level 2, Level 7, Level 3, Level 1, Level 14. Nathan
paused, staring at the intimidatingly high number.
A level fourteen, indeed something to fear.
With defense stats higher than my own
(Since I am oriented for fight and flight)
Well, she's yet to kill a player, though
I fear in open combat she trumps me.
What a bitter surprise I find here?
And yet, alas, nothing to do but walk.
After having spent no less than a full minute rooted to the
spot, to the point where passers-by were giving him odd looks,
Nathan shook his head and started to walk forward again.
Alright, no matter, I must calm myself;
I need only do my business and depart
No need to fear what I would never start.

Klisifure
Her spear faded, dispersing in light, being unequipped. The
weapon was still held at a 'quick access point', so if need be,
she could instantly summon it forth. For now, however, she
didn't want to constantly lug the spear around. Klisifure's arms
then fell to her sides.
She started trekking forward back into the Safe Area inside the
main human city. PvP would be disabled here. By world wide
messages being sent through, the Musketeer had arrived from
another raid. The guild seemed to have been gaining large
amounts of popularity,as one of the first advancement teams for
the attempt to end The Game.
While she disliked being in overly large guilds, it would likely
ensure her own and the other members odds of survival, if she
joined attempted to join up with them. She knew where their
Guild Hall would be; Common knowledge like that spreads around
quickly about popular groups.
After reaching the Safe Zone borders, she seemed to be fine.
Klisifure made a mental note to have that _9 player hunted down,
later on. It worried her, that some players were consistent with
their PKing, that they were nearly at the higher levels. The
female sighed, and then started to head towards the direction of
the Musketeer march, sounded by the overly loud cheering.

_Nine
_Nine spawned into the forest. A panel appeared beside her.
Stage one of two, Single Player. Difficulty
▗▗▗▗
She cracked her knuckles and ran forward into the area. A group
of monsters approached her. They appeared to be made entirely
out of leaves and were each 7ft tall. _Nine yelled out her fire
enchantment for her hammer and spun her hammer around let it fly
towards the enemies, dragging her with it. The hammer connected
with the first one, obliterating it. _Nine screamed as she swung
the hammer in to the other monsters.
After 30 more seconds she stepped out of the pile of dead leaves
on the ground and ran past the clearing.

Hans
Hans' wings twitched as he stood on the edge of the building.
This was going to be his first time flying around the city
without any help. Needless to say, he was scared. However, he
had waited this long to actually fly, he couldn't just chicken
out. He jumped off the edge and flew as slowly as he could
manage over the city towards the main square.

Kiejac
Another 'day' of grinding low level monsters for potion money.
Kiejac wouldn't be out of the elf/berserker starting point for a
long time. Perhaps this is what would be 'his' fate for the rest
of 'his' life. Or maybe 'he' will get lucky and chance upon
equipment that could nullify this cursed berserker ability.
Maybe a mini-ent would be willing to help 'him'. Although the
more likely situation would be that 'his' health points would
eventually run out because there weren't enough potions. A
rather lame death.
In any case, buying The Game was the worst decision that Jackie
had ever made in her life, and she likely would never live to
see the day where she would be back in her own body rather than
Kiejac's. 'He' sighed.
2 Goblins killed!
Gained 40 exp and 6 coppers.
At least farming was easy with tripled stats. Kiejac drank
another potion. 'He' had 7 remaining. 'He' went off to search
for more monsters.

Ms. Jazington
Ms. Jazington checked her pantry, and realized that she was
almost out of food. She began to walk toward a nearby city,
where she noticed the girl ((Klisfure)) from earlier. "Hello!"
she said. "By any chance, do you know a place where I can buy
food?"
