The Magma Games

WELCOME!
The United Districts of America is divided into twelve
districts and is ruled by Magma. On August 1st, also known as
the Day of the Tributes, certain people are chosen by Magma to
fight in the Magma Games. The Magma Games is a deadly contest
that begins on August 8th and ends when there is one person left
alive.
Your goal is to survive and kill everyone else. You will be
able to pick one partner to help you, but you must kill your
partner at the end of the Magma Games. You will be able to
select a mentor to prepare you for this deadly contest. Pay
attention to your mentor and try to learn as much as you can,
because these might be the final days of your life. Let the
games begin!
Rules:
1. No god-modding.
2. No retconning.
3. You can only have four characters. However, your fourth
character must be Magma staff (cannot be mentor).
4. No bunnying, even with permission.
5. Your partner must be controlled by another person.
6. Your mentor must be controlled by another person.
7. You must choose one weapon on the list.
8. Your weapon choice must be on the list.
9. You can only have one mentor character.
10. You can only have one offensive weapon and one defensive
weapon.
11. You can make a sponsor character, but they cannot be in the
games. They can help any characters they have made friends with.
If you sponsor your own character, you can only help them out
when permission is asked.

[spoiler=Weapons Analysis (Personal Opinion):]
Swordstaff ((Oh hey, bladed weapon, that means lots of
maintenance and the sword is semi-likely to get stuck! Eh, good
range, can be used in close range, decent all round weapon. Like
with other polearms, kinda clunky.))
Lance ((Long range, minimal maintenance, useful weapon, pitfall
like with bow/crossbow is that it really cannot function in
close range.))
Longbow ((Powerful, very long large, requires that you have aim.
Something annoying to figure out in CSTs/RPs. Also, ammo is
pretty limited unless you go fletch some more. That takes time
and is annoying. But hey, at least you can also hunt with
this.))
Crossbow ((Essentially the bow but this is more power, less draw
time for less range. Eh, same thing with bow really for usage.))
Machete ((All round useful tool, bladed so eh, bush whacking is
useful, only real short/medium ranged bladed weapon.))
Club ((Very easy to wield and increases power, no maintenance
required. Range is short.
Battleaxe (Powerful, polearm range, downfall is that it's a tad
on th eheavy side so less control and the fact that it's not as
easy to retract once lodged into a person's body.))
Seriously:
Sling ((Advantage is that ammo is easily restocked, disadvantage
is that it does very little to deter enemies and doesn't easily
score a lethal hit))
Why Would You Ever Use These: ((Fencing swords. Seriously, never
use these.))
Foil
Épée

Yeah, recommendations:
Remove Fencing swords, add broadsword, longsword, and dagger.
The ranged weapons shouldn't start and end with bows. Maybe
darts or throwing knives? Oh, and a throwing spear, those are
cool.
Add some more defensively oriented items, like tessen or
shields.
Add some fun stuff just for kicks, like bladed tonfas or scythes
or clawed gauntlets. Be creative, don't just do the generic
stuff.

Skills: Quant's best weapons are the crossbow and the longsword.
Weaknesses: Even though he's good with bows, he's not that good
with certain spears.

Chosen Defensive Weapon: N/A
Bio/Backstory: Quant likes to be his own leader. He is not that
good with bosses. He has gotten fired a lot, and he finally
managed to get a job at Magma and keep it.

and rather violent, Carla will do whatever it takes to prove
that she deserves to win. Cause, y'know, she's the best, and
boys drool.
She also wants the proletarian in the districts to take over,
form a dictatorship, set up a socialist state, and become a
communist society, but, you know, she'll settle for winning.

Ooooh, look, dinner!"
Carla started to completely ignore her new mentor in favor of
the, admittedly, rather delicious spread that Magma had set up.
She ravenously bit into a pork chop.
"Hey, buster, this thing ain't medium rare! Cook it RIGHT next
time!"
Carla continued to scarf down the buffet.
