[Kormots aren't 100% fireproof. Their faces and bellies are
bare. Through projectile penetration, they can be destroyed
anyway if the explosion surrounds them. (which it does)]

Nithin
The hike was long and hard. Nithin was done, sweat dripping and
pooling on his soft, doughy body. The forest was relentless,
and after 12 miles of walking, a cold night's sleep on a
passable shelter, and another 12 miles, the airstrip had just
appeared through the thick trees.
Nithin's legs ached like a bad hangover, but with the last
vestiges of his strength and fervor he approached the airstrip
and kicked in the door of the control tower. Scaling the
ladder, he drew the cruel 3 feet of lead pipe. A lone traffic
controller, hunched over a newspaper, leapt up at the creak of
the rusty trapdoor being pushed open.
It was far too late to escape.
With a high pitched whistling, the pipe came down in a perfect
arc, connecting with the man's skull and echoing a hollow sound
across the chamber. Blood spattered. The sound of sweet, sweet
experience points melodiously rung in the air.
Nithin wiped the viscous liquid off his glasses, and got to
work. He was going to... He was going to... Damn.

LATER-
Genesis hung up her phone, "Got it" She said and turned to the
three others in the house. "The base is ready. We are to head
there immediately. A Heli awaits us outside."
Genesis and the others climbed into the copter and headed to
Nevada.
"This base is only temporary, I'm handing Aqua control over to a
trusted officer in a day and we are leaving. We'll get details
sorted out at the base."

"I am headed to New York after that. Aqua has lost, but I
haven't. I'll continue my experiments in private, and all of you
are welcome to join. I have a house and lab ready courtesy of my
investors. "
Yaman
Juniper arrived in the town and put Yaman on his feet. "Thanks
June" Yaman said as they held hands again, heading back towards
the hotel.

Esther
She had received a call from makeup girl. She spoke quickly in
her irritating fashion. She didn't have a chance to question
what was being said before the girl hung up.
What just happened? Something about Aqua being destroyed. Has it
even been 3 days since I left? What in the world happened? Well,
at least the operation was a success. Kind of. There's just this
one little problem, I'm sure it'll be fine.
There was a half protruding glowing blue gelatinous polearm in
the room. It was protruding from the region of the young girl's
body where the heart would lie.
How was I supposed to know that the cure all did this? Hey,
everyone, when you mix mysterious blue gel medicine with an
organism's heart, a glowing spear appears, yay! Not to mention
the fact that the spear happens to be able to gouge straight
through the skin of anyone not of close blood relations. I guess
it's some kind of violent rejection of the foreign entity. Two
nurses have had their tendons, veins, and arteries in their
forearms completely severed by this thing. It's lucky that I was
there when it happened or they would have been dead within
minutes. We can't seem to remove the spear and she's still in a
comatose state. Well, that issue can wait.
She dialed up the secure number to one of Genesis' cellphones.
"Geeeeeeeeeeeeeni, what happeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeened?"

Mae jumped up, "Me too! I don't have anywhere else to go..."

"So, what's the plan now that we're here?" Juniper looked at
Yaman.

It was silent. The man on the other side of the communicator
waited anxiously for a reply. Finally, he broke in on his own
accord.
"Well? What did you find?"
"..."
"Scott? Are you there?"
"Yeah, I'm here. We've finished searching the academy's
remains."
"And?"
"Nothing. We couldn't save the few bodies we could find."
"In that case, it's time to head back. You've got people waiting
for you back here."
"Not yet."
"What?"
"These Aqua guys... they destroyed this academy, but they did so
to recruit the students to their cause. Their cause was to
destroy the organizations against the races. What I'm wondering
is, what organization is so dangerous and important that killing
a few rare lives to recruit the rest would be considered worth
it? Just who are we dealing with here?"
"Maybe Aqua Operatives is nothing more than delusional."
"Maybe they know something we don't."
"I don't think it's within our jurisdiction to question these
things. It doesn't concern us."
"It doesn't concern YOU because you're a thousand miles away.
You haven't seen these bodies. I'll figure this out if it kills
me, and I'm not afraid of what I don't know."
"You'll never be forgiven if you're caught deserting the
mission, Scott."
"I'll never forgive myself if I never know."
He hung up the communicator.
Scott began to think. So. Aqua's HQ has been destroyed by team
Delta, and their leader has escaped. We couldn't track them,
though, so we don't know where she's going or if she has another
army. So why aren't we making an effort to stop Aqua for good? I
mean, sure we've finished our primary objective of saving the
remnants of the western races, but fully beating Aqua doesn't
even seem to be on the back burner. I mean, humans are still in
danger of what Aqua might do. We're here to protect humans as
well...
...right?
