       Ivy had woken up in Henry's arms.
       Um...
       She couldn't use her fire yet, but she could stand. Her arm hurt
       a bit, but she couldn't figure out quite why.
       Ivy blinked a little.
       "Henry, what happened?"

       "Will" made a signal and his crew fired a gun at Ivy. It
       caused a wound but her scales protected her. "Will" cackled
       evilly as armed kormots surrounded him and Ivy.

       The recovery group left the site of the destroyed dome. Hours
       passed as they group took a fairly unknown route to southern
       California. A small underground bunker base opened itself,
       letting in the fleet of transport vehicles.
       The recovery seemed minimal. As the units deported their
       contents onto the docking bay, a variety of random materials
       were scattered. A few stacks of research paper from Mirror, and
       human enhancement papers from the science lab. it was
       incomplete, however, as a few of the sheets either went missing
       or got torched by the explosives inside. An assortment if
       prototype weapons with minimal damage was also recovered.
       However, the docking area suddenly became lively with alarmed
       noise, as they discovered the recovery of 'Mirror's head by the
       team. Brain still intact. The leaders of the bunker base were
       immediately alarmed, as testing surgery teams were called up.

       So much for helping.
       She backed up towards Henry who was also surrounded by people.
       Ivy whispered to Henry, "I can't use my powers yet. For a moment
       this is up to you."

       "Alright, it looks like you all leave me no choice." He lit both
       hands ablaze with blue flame. "This is the end of the line!"
       He made a motion and the men surrounding them were caught in a
       deadly explosion. When the dust cleared, only bone remained. The
       two helicopters opened fire. He dodged their range and shot them
       down with two more heat rays. They fell to the ground and the
       survivors attacked by land.
       Ivy watched in horror as Henry mercilessly killed every last one
       of them.

       ((Zen, in my previous post I said they were armed KORMOTS.
       Kormots are immune to fire, so they are still alive. Also,
       because of their scales, they have strong protection and can't
       be killed easily.))

       (See: the surface of the sun. Fire protection has its limits.
       Also, Henry can use his metal arm as a weapon, which is harder
       than kormot scales.)
