One of the best games I've ever played was Xenoblade Chronicles.
It was an rpg type game, but set in such a differently
conceived world. It was a beautiful game, with gameplay that
expanded from a basic style that everybody can learn on to
complex attacks and combos in order to take down huge mechanical
monsters. The plot was terrific, and the graphics weren't bad
either (if graphics count for anything these days in gaming
threads).

Xenoblade is cool, but Rune Factory is by far better. RF is
basically Harvest Moon mixed with Animal crossing, plus enemies.

Kingdom Hearts anyone? This game was just so stunning and
creative. :)
