The Virus

The Virus is a game about GSM mechanics who are faced with
their games that are turned to life (but are still confined to
their technology) because of a single virus created by an evil
mastermind. The game characters are just like their description,
the heroes as heroes, and the villains as villains. The largest
problem about the virus is because of GSM's best mechanics,
whose games were going to be the masterpieces of GSM but could
become their downfall. Soon, the heroes of the games fall to the
sheer number of the enemies (mainly due to the large number of
games with no gameplay and too many enemies), and the sprites
jump from computer to computer, infecting the virus everywhere.
It's up to the very best of the GSM mechanics to somehow stop
the virus...
I will decide the other mechanics that will work on this
collaboration project. I will only limit the number of mechanics
to five including myself. The game in total will be 50 levels, I
will start the first ten levels and end the final level (to make
credits and because of the lack of mechanics that are qualified
AND that also know me well (currently I'm thinking about
zenwarrior54, Elephants4Ever, Topaz1116, and someone else)). I'm
going to make an announcing game on GSM about The Virus if it
seems to be any good, and I'm starting to get more creative
ideas due to the endless hours I spend with my friends on GSM
:-\. Soo, if Zen and Topaz accept, and if Elephants4Ever (or can
I just call her Ellie or Ele4 or something?) accepts on GSM, I
will be holding a tryouts session if people accept. If The Virus
is successful, I will start it around New Year's Eve (probably
after, since I'll be celebrating :3), right after Ethan's
Prophecy. So, tell me what you think, and Zen and Topaz, PLEASE
tell me if you accept! You're two of the most experienced
mechanics that I know! So thanks so much for taking the time to
read this. I hope it sounds interesting! ;D

I have some ideas that I can use; the virus (i.e. Acheron
Megachaser, Karakuri Nemesis) is e-mailed by the mastermind (I'm
calling him "Bob" for now) to one computer, and the virus
activates, and pretty soon the sprites escape from GSM and onto
the computer. With their intelligence, they e-mail the same
virus to every computer in the world, which is actually quite
effective (let's say that each sprite e-mails twice, then 2
squared is 4, 2 cubed is 8, then 16, then 32, then 64, then 128,
then 256, then 512, then 1,024, then 2,048, then 4,096, then
8,192, etc.). The best mechanics of GSM (in this case, me and
the other 4 mechanics) then realizes the good sprites (i.e.
Altair Hero, League Marksman) came to life, and then they
designed a bunch of games full of powerful heroes (i.e. max
speed and health, backpack equipped with tons of armor) and then
e-mail THOSE everywhere. Pretty soon, the heroes begin to gain
the upper hand, but I want there to be a twist at the end, which
I'm not really good at, so one of the other mechanics will take
care of that. Here is my hopeful team designation:
Elephants4Ever: Visuals and gameplay
Zenwarrior54: Story and gameplay
Topaz1116: Story and gameplay
Bluetiger11: Story and gameplay
Mystery Person: Humor and gameplay
If it's possible; we can communicate using e-mail. Hopefull Ele4
can e-mail her backgrounds to us because they are AWESOME. And
NO, I am not in charge; I prefer to think of the five of us as
people that rely on each other's talents. I hope The Virus
becomes a success!
NOTE: I might change The Virus a bit so we can ALL work together
on each level (again, using e-mail), and each mechanic releases
10 levels, but all five of us has worked on every level so we
can combine with each other's talents. Reply to my showcase game
if you want to audition!
UPDATE: I have decided that the mechanic will work on humor
along with the gameplay. Make the funniest game you can.

Oh, my. I never got this message... must have been on break when
I gave up on answering them... is this still going on? because
I'd love to help, if it is... But I'd probably want to help on
story a little bit, too, since I'm *cough cough* more of a
novelist than a graphic designer or gamer... But this probably
isn't going on since it was, like, August when you posted
this... Did you already make the games? I'd love to play them.
:) I feel like a total fool right now... ^^' I'm completely
honored that you'd think to include me and mortified to think
that I might have missed it... Or gotten the message and
forgotten about it... lol... I sound like a fool, too. XD
