"Unforgivable" is the printed telling of Ark Watson's notebook,
which he's been writing in since he was fourteen years old. The
story runs parallel to Uncontrollable and Unbreakable, written
from the point of view of Ark Watson, effectively documenting
his life.

My name's Ark. Ark Watson. You might not have heard of me- well,
not yet, at least. I'm 14 years old and I live in San Francisco,
California. It's nice, here- cloudy days, clear nights... You'd
wear the same coat in summer and winter. But enough about San
Francisco.
I'm making this journal to document my studies regarding a
little theory I have. After looking at mythologies and
religions, I've concluded that there is something... on the
other side of the glass. You know, across the bridge. Over the
fence. I'm talking about a parallel dimension, obviously. I
won't TELL you exactly what my evidence is or how I came across
it. Duh. You might steal it before I get famous. (That, or
you'll call me a nerd...) I can't have some low life thief
taking credit for the next great leap for mankind!
I'll just be writing here my personal thoughts, as well as
occasionally some unrelated banter. You know, highschool and all
that.
I'm still at the very beginning of what I can tell is a very
long procedure. I might be at this my whole life. Who knows,
only time will tell. I'll be looking back on this first journal
entry, at my humble beginnings, thinking of how far I've come.
Heh, silly me thinking of this already. I have to actually DO
things to look back on them. I'll start right here, on February
eleventh, 2410.

Now, the first thing to note about parallel universes is that,
obviously, they're parallel to ours. That means that if I were
to, say, throw my keyboard across the room right here, I could
theoretically be flipping over a table spontaneously in the
other world. But no, wait... that would mean that we'd be seeing
all sorts of nonsensical effects with no causes over here,
because some guy in the other universe could be chucking
keyboards. Perhaps actions here DON'T affect the other side. No,
wait, then it wouldn't be our PARALLEL, just another universe.
And that's not what I'm trying to prove.
Hmm.

Alright, I've given it some thought. Just because the other side
may be our parallel, doesn't mean it's necessarily identical to
us. I mean, perhaps it's PROPORTIONALLY directly linked to us.
Say, for every human here, there might be four of whatever's the
dominant species over there. Then, like if one person here
thought about using a pencil sharpener, then the parallel of
that would be a few people USING a pencil sharpener. See, then a
single action would be logically justified in both worlds. That
means, while the action itself is omni-universal (is that even a
word?), it's interpreted differently depending on what universe
you're in!
...So there could be more than two worlds. Three, four, no.
Realistically, an infinite amount. Well, we only say that
because there's no way to disprove it. (Also, a lot of us like
to think of universes where everything goes right.) Let's
simplify this, since I don't like getting flustered. Let's call
our world "U-A" and the parallel world we're focusing on "U-B".
Theoretically, the population ratio of the dominant species of
U-A and U-B is, let's say, 1-3. So, since there's around 10
billion humans here, there would be 30 billion life forms in
U-B.
Ugh, I'm getting off topic again. None of this means anything
since I don't even know if there ARE multiple universes. We
could be the only ones here.
Does any of this even make sense to you, reader?

Nothing I've said in the last couple of entries made any
sense... I mean, maybe it had some logic in it, but I've
completely forgotten that everything's theoretical and I have
nothing to base this off of! Ugh, forget it. Unless I can find a
way get some actual evidence, I may as well give up.
Considering I may never actually see the result of my efforts,
this is probably going to be my last entry to this appallingly
short journal. Ark Watson, signing out...

THIS IS IT! I'm back in the game.
It's been a few months, but you will not believe what I've
found!
It's a really old book from medieval times. It was made before
the 19th century, so it can't be fully restored, but I can still
make out most of it. Wow, I can't believe something this old
still holds together. This whole book's based on an old mythos
that I've never heard of. It's not Nordic, Christian, Greek,
none of those- I've looked it up, they don't have any documents
on whatever civilization made this. It looks like an old fairy
tale book, but I took a look at the title: "The Spirit World" in
old English print. The title page has a mirror on it, showing a
jester looking through and seeing a knight. I know it's a long
shot to look to silly mythologies for the next great
technological leap, but that's why I'm here in the first place.
I haven't even read the book yet, and I'm already excited!

The next page of the journal has a no writing, but a noticeably
huge black coffee stain in the middle.
Upon further examination, you can see a note in blue ballpoint
pen: Whoops, spilled my coffee! I'll post in
the next page over.

I'm going to make a HUGE report in a few days. You will not
believe what this book has! I was so excited, I spilled my
coffee just trying to make this entry!

First of all, it's sort of silly of me for even making a
Journal- I don't want anyone to read it anyway. There's an
obvious metal lock on it, so if you're reading this you're
either me, god or a total creep. So don't be surprised, god, if
you find that not everything you read in here involves my
studies. I might use this to vent my frustration about other
things, even if I know nobody's reading this. It's that, or I go
on a rant in the middle of the streets. Yes, the focus of this
Journal is to release all of these crazy theories from my brain
and onto something paper before I explode, but that applies to
more than just my studies.
