       Riddle Contest

Time to get thinking! This is the RIDDLE CONTEST!!!! ;) :)
       Here's how it'll work:
I will post a riddle and you will try to solve it. In that same
comment, you will post your own riddle and the next person will
try to solve it. The next person will also have a riddle in that
same comment. Also, when you solve the riddle, post an
explanation for why you think that is the answer! This is a new
rule, so know one has to modify their comment and put an
explanation, but I want everybody to do this in the future! And
it goes on and on. Please participate and have fun! :D Also,
please don't use Google or look it up in some other way.
However, if you want a hint, you can PM the person who made the
       riddle.
       Here's my riddle:
A man was at a bar feeling poor. He sees a rich man take $50 out
his pocket to pay the cashier. The poor man says to the rich man
"I know all the songs known to man." The rich man laughed and
said,"I bet you all the money in my pocket that you can't sing a
song with my daughter's name in it, Sarah Lee Greyson." The poor
man went home rich and the rich man went home poor. What song
       did the man sing?

There was a pink one story house. Pink Vase, Pink Sink, Pink
dog, pink couch, pink tv, pink carpet, EVERYTHING was pink. What
       color are the stairs?

There are no stairs; the house is one story.

When I was four, my sister was half my age. Now I am 100. How
       old is my sister?

       Answer: 98 years old.
       My Riddle:
A man worked at a high security institution. The man tried to
log into his computer and the computer denied the password. He
then remembered that the passwords to the computers were reset
every month for security reasons. He called his boss for his new
       password.
The man said, "Boss, my old password is out of date."
The boss said, "Yes, it is. The new password is different, but
if you listen closely you will be able to figure out the new
one. Your new password has the same amount of letters as the old
one, and four of the letters are the same."
The man then logged into his computer with no trouble. What was
the new password? What was his old?

Old password: Out of Date New password: Different
(answering because nitrox had to leave)
*note: I'm typing this riddle according to memory so it might be
       worded a bit weirdly*
The father of two brothers, Bob and John, passes away. His will
states that whichever of the brothers' horses reaches the next
town last will receive the father's wealth. So John and Bob wait
and wait in the town that they're in. Suddenly John gets on a
horse and bolts to the next town as fast as possible. He gets
       the money. Why?

John rode to the town on Bob's horse.
Five hundred begins it, five hundred ends it,
       Five in the middle is seen;
First of all figures, the first of all letters,
       Take up their stations between.
Join all together, and then you will bring
Before you the name of an eminent king.

Answer to previous riddle: Storm clouds (or just clouds in
       general)
       Riddle:
Two spies want to get in an enemy's military base.In order to
get in they have to give the correct countersign to the guard at
the gate after he gives them the sign. So they wait hidden
nearby the gate so that they will overhear the countersign from
       another soldier.
One soldier comes and the guard gives the sign: "6". The soldier
answers "3".The guard lets him pass. Another soldier comes. The
guard says "12" and the soldier gives the answer "6". The guard
lets him pass. So, the first spy goes at the gate and the guard
asks says "10". The spy, sure that he knew the answer as he was,
says "5". Immediately, the guard shoots him dead.
Then the other spy, who saw that the other spy was killed when
he gave the countersign, had now understood what the right
answer would be, whatever the guard's sign was. So, he walks to
the gate and the guard says "8". The spy gives the correct
answer and the guard lets him in. What was the answer that the
       spy gave?

       Answer to previous riddle: 5
Explanation: The countersign is the number of letters in the
number provided by the guard, so when the guard says 10, the
answer is 3 since t-e-n is 3 letters. [I'm going to start
posting my answers with explanations for those who do not
understand the riddle and to show that I understand the
       riddle...yeah, I love riddles....]
Riddle: A man was to be sentenced, and the judge told him, "You
may make a statement. If it is true, I'll sentence you to four
years in prison. If it is false, I'll sentence you to six years
in prison." After the man made his statement, the judge decided
to let him go free. What did the man say?
