The Rhyming Game
By: sw138994 Date: May 27, 2014, 10:32 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Ok so lately I saw that there hasn't been many forum games... so
I decided to start one!
"The Rhyming Game"
Rules:
1. No swearing
2.no more than 13 words (that will be explained)
3. Make sure to always tell what word you are rhyming with (that
will be explained too)
4. HAVE FUN! :)
Game: Someone writes a sentence. Then, the next person picks
one of the words in the sentence and then makes a rhyme with it
(you should note what word you are rhyming with).
Example:
Masterbob: I like pie
Panekakewaffle555: (pie)
I ate a (fly)
whaleman5: (ate)
I put my ham dinner on a (plate)
you get the idea
remember: no more than 13 words per sentence
I'll start:
I love forum games!

(husband)
We traveled (upland).
Technically not a rhyme. I find this page very helpful when
playing this game:
HTML http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_English_words_without_rhymes
NOT ACCORDING TO THIS:
HTML http://www.rhymer.com/RhymingDictionary/husband.html
HTML http://www.rhymer.com/RhymingDictionary/husband.html
NOT ACCORDING TO THIS:

TOO BAD!!!

actually I looked it up on the rhyming website (posted by
bfitzpatrick... it surprisingly does... :)
According to the website I used in my above post the only words
that rhyme with it are hempel, kempel, kemple, rempel, semple,
stempel, stemple, tempel, wemple, and zempel. According to
bfitz's website "microsecond" rhymes with "husband..." but it
doesn't matter that much anyway. I guess we should allow
near-rhymes and use our best judgement.
