A Crooked Little Town- Synopsis
By: Zenwarrior54 Date: April 19, 2014, 6:50 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
"Yeah, like I was in a hurry to visit our grandparents anyway. I
could basically handle the car breaking down. I could handle
being a little on the lost side... isn't it spring, though? Why
are the leaves here orange? I could handle having to walk into a
really weird town, I could pretty much get by, meeting a weird
boy made of straw that acts like a walking, talking, dancing
scarecrow. I think I can handle knowing the mayor of the town is
a skeleton with a top hat and a cane. I can even steadily grasp
the idea that every single person in this town is completely
crazy in some way. What really bothers me, however, is that I'm
stuck here!"

Ooh, horror writing (as far as I can tell). That should be your
specialty, Zen.

I think it's more on the fantasy/surreal route rather than
horror (then again, I'm probably wrong but whatever.)

It's not really horror till the end, and even then it's more
surreal than downright creepy. Though, it's far from sunshine
and rainbows.
