GAMESTAR MINECRAFT COMPETITIVE FACTIONS

Hello, all! Me, Epsilon and Widm are starting a Gamestar
competitive factions game. It's basically Minecraft factions,
which is a survival gamemode where you build a base and fight
other factions and people. You can claim land that is protected
on which only you can build on, but if you die you lose power so
people can claim over your land.
Our version is different, however. We will be playing with 1
person teams competing against each other. You can use any name
you want for your faction, but you should also use your faction
description to mention your user name on the forum if you can.
You can always check the list here for participating factions.
Another twist: you can set a point in territory you claim with
the command /f sethome. If one of the people in this
competition raids you and claims over your /f sethome spot, you
have lost. You can either leave, or if you choose to continue
playing, you must join their faction. The idea is you raid
other players to gain members, and ultimately make your faction
stronger and increase your land claim ability.
This is heavy pvp. You should familiarize yourself with
factions, the commands, the strategies, and Minecraft pvp. I
personally recommend putting water over your base, wherever you
build it. Since our factions are small, we will most likely be
targeted by large factions. If your faction is destroyed, you
can still continue this competition and rebuild. You only lose
if one of us conquers you.
If you get attacked by an enemy that isn't in this contest, you
can choose to message one of us (/msg playername) and use the
/tpa command to gain help fighting them off. A player can't
help you raid other bases, but s/he is permitted to help you
defend your own. The downside to this is you reveal your
coordinates (you can find them using f3, it's x, y, and z
variables that mark your position in a world), which they can
later use to find your base and conquer you.
We will be playing on the server pvp.TheArchon.net on the Red
factions server.
