Some day, I'm planning on re-working the entire plot of the Zen
warrior series into a graphic novel, manga style.

Mike will have power over "Dark Matter", able to convert normal
matter into a harder, pitch black substance. He has other
related powers, as well. More details on this later.

His hand is made of dark matter. In the anime business, that's
different enough to make a completely new story about! :P
