Phew, he thought. Kat saved me!
He jumped up from the ground and put his machete into fighting
stance. Kat was doing just fine, shooting down zombie after
zombie, but she must have lost her focus. Before he knew it, two
zombies had tackled Kat to the floor! She wasn't fighting back
though. Not a good sign. He took his machete and brought it down
on one of the zombie's head. It wasn't a clean slice, and Kat
did get some blood on her clothes, it did the job.
One zombie down, one to go.
He raised his machete to kill the other zombie. He hesitated.
The zombie's head was too close to Kat's face. He couldn't, and
didn't, dare to try and hit it. He decided to try something
else. He took out his very puny pocket knife and started to stab
the zombie in the head. When it finally stopped struggling, he
pulled it off of Kat.
"Hey Andrei! Come over here and help Kat. I think she's
unconscious."

Shadow was intrigued when she saw them go out of their way to
help each other. The only world she'd ever known was one where
nobody cared about another person. Though she was curious, she
stayed hidden. They had guns, and if there was one thing Shadow
didn't like, it was guns.
Eventually she decided that she'd seen enough zombies for today
and walked over and closed the door they were coming through.
She then set to work decapitating all the ones that were already
inside.

"Kat, Kat, please wake up!" Andrei was nestling her head in his
arms, but she was still unconscious. Kat still had a pulse, but
it was very weak, the zombies had suffocated her. If Christian
had not took action when he did, she could've died.
"What do we do?" Christian was getting worried, almost in tears.
Crow was still fighting off the zombies, along with the guy in
the mask.
"I-I don't know" Andrei was combing through Kat's hair, his
tears dropping onto her pale cheeks. Nothing mattered anymore at
the moment, all Andrei cared about was her. He no longer saw the
zombies as a threat, he just blocked them out of his view and
focused on Kat.
All of a sudden, Kat's eyes fluttered open. Andrei never thought
he'd be so happy to see green again. He leaned down and kissed
her.
"What happened? Why are guys crying? And is this blood on me?"
Kat was in shock.
"Shhh, calm down, you were unconscious since those zombies
tackled you, Christian here killed them and saved you. You
weren't breathing, your heartbeat was slowing down, I-I thought
I lost you..." Andrei was still tearing up, but this time
because of joy, not sadness. Kat put her hand on his cheek and
wiped the tears away with her thumb, "Oh Andrei, you know it's
almost impossible to lose me." He managed a chuckle and kissed
her again.

Shadow silently finished off the last zombie and went to
reinforce the door. While zombies had yet to figure out locks,
they could still open doors by force. She pushed some boxes in
front of it, then climbed on top of them and sat, watching the
interactions between the others with some interest.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I am joining too.
Name: Lilia
Nickname: Lily
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Describe your character: Lily is a zombie. She is 5'4". She was
14 when she got infected and had to spend her birthday alone as
a zombie. When she was made a zombie, something didn't happen
right, and she can still think with her brain like a human.
Skills: For a zombie, she is very fast and can take a couple
hits before giving up.
Enemies: Anybody who wants to kill her. ( that sounds weird
since she is a zombie. ) And depending on her mood, Kat.
Family: Her mom and dad were killed by zombies, and she was an
only child.
Friends: Anybody who DOESN'T want to kill her. And Shadow.
Crushes: Crow

"A little help here!" Crow was now looking back at the three
next to the fake plant.
"Come on, let's go!" Kat was eager to get back to fighting,
Andrei helped her up. Kat was still a bit dizzy but she could
still shoot amazingly. She made kill after kill. The number of
zombies was getting smaller and smaller, they would make it out
of this alive! This gave Kat hope, and she was shooting better
than ever.
Crow did the honor of killing the last zombie of the bunch. They
were finally safe, for the moment at least. Then Kat, Andrei,
Christian, and Crow all turned to look at the man in the mask.
They wanted answers.
