Undead (A Zombie RP)

The government has been telling everyone, "Not to worry. Stay
inside". They claim to have everything under control. But, with
the recent radio broadcast, you're not so sure about that.
*Radio Transmission*
Reports of serious sickness have been recorded in the
Continental United States. The sickness is unlike anything we
have seen before. We have with us today a correspondent from the
Center for Disease Control. Can you explain to us what's going
on?
Brenda, I hate to say it, but... *voice pauses* we all are
screwed. This sickness... i-it's like nothing we've ever seen.
You see, the disease came from a shipment of produce from South
America.
*Reporter cuts in*
Wait, so you're saying that it's from the fruit?
Yes. We believe so. Anyway, the... disease. It is based from
dead brain cells. The second someone gets the virus, through
bodily fluids from another person, like spit or blood, the dead
cells reproduce faster than the live ones can. It's a hostile
takeover of the mind. The infection only leaves cognitive motor
skill intact. The blood of the victim then begins to clot, which
results in a awkward gait and slow movements. They make noises
too. Groans and shouts. There is nothing left of the person, no
memories, n-no regard for human nature! The disease starts with
a high fever, and only gets worse from there. Online, and on the
news, people have been using the term "Zombie" a lot now. And...
I'm afraid they're right. As of now, there is no cure.
*Reporter gasps*
Thank you for your time Dr. Haymen. Remember, if you see anyone
with these symtoms, do not take them to a hospital, no one can
help them. As of now, the military forces, along with the Navy,
are fighting hard to keep this outbreak under control. Stay in
your houses. Don't go outside. The Coast Guard is evacuating
cities as we speak. Wait for them to come.
It's been two days since that broadcast. People are out in the
streets, infected. You know now, that no help is coming...

Humpty Dumpty - Christian Walker
Name: Christian Walker
Nickname: Chris
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Describe your character: Chris is tall (5'11") and skinny. His
complexion is lightly tanned, but mostly pale due to the amount
of time he spends on his computer. He has dark brown wavy hair
that goes down to his shoulders. (His hair is the kind that
flips.) He has steely grey eyes that make you want to look away.
His usual outfit is a grey cotton T-shirt and a pair of regular
jeans. He used to wear socks, being inside so much, for the most
part, but now he wears boots to protect his feet. He isn't what
you would call a jock, but he can play hard when he needs too.
He does hold the record for fastest kid in his school though.
He works well on teams, but he always likes to take leadership
of the group. He also is very laid-back, not bothered by much.
If you get to know him, it would be worth it.
Skills: Computer skills (Not helpful at all in the Zombie
world), Works well in teams, He runs fast.
Enemies: No one... yet.
Family: He hasn't had contact with his family since the end of
the world. He was stuck in school.

Physical Appearance: Kain is half German, quarter French,
quarter Japanese. He has tanned skin with straight, dark brown
hair. His voice is raspy, like a snake.
Height: 6'2"
Describe your character: Though, shocking to believe, it is
true. Man selfishly finds a way to make profit in any situation.
Kain Austerlitz is that kind of man. Since the outbreak, he has
made top priority to find ways to fight the zombies, but only
for the benefit of himself and those who do business with him.
He supplies his peers with weapons of all sorts- katanas, clubs,
knives, guns from all over the world, anything he can find
anywhere. But- for a price. The greedy man wants nothing more
than profit from the situation, and won't give anything away
without first receiving something. He dons a thick coat, oxygen
mask and strange goggles, not to be anonymous, just the
opposite- you can probably easily distinguish a man coated in
all leather. He also uses this to protect himself from the
rumored air-spreading of the virus. He may be a selfish or even
deceptive man, but encountering him could save your life.
Skills: Master Negotiator, Weapons Specialist, Always has a
supply of various weapons around him.
(Weakness: He's very slow and not good at multitasking)

bitten, though, it turned white. His skin is turning pale, and
his eyes are slowly changing from green to red.
Height: 5'11"
Describe your character:
The Doctor has been studying the Undead ever since the virus
first came to his town. He had been trying to find some sort of
cure, or at least some sort of inhibitor. All he needed was a
live specimen...
A few weeks ago, Crow was bitten by a zombie. He barely got
away, and hid in the nearest building. It would only be a matter
of time before he turned into a zombie. However, by a strange
twist of fate, he still had a chance- he had stumbled into the
lab of the Doctor. Certain of death otherwise, he agreed to
become the object of the Doctor's experiment. He gave him a
sample of his corrupted blood, which the man used to create an
"Undead-Inhibitor"- a fluid that slowed the growth of dead cells
inside an infected being's blood. If injected early, this could
slow the process of zombification. The Doctor tested it by
conducting surgery on Crow, installing a few small tubes inside
his left wrist. This sort of life support would use provided
ingredients to generate the Undead-Inhibitor, keeping Crow
alive. Every week after, the Doctor would inject him with some
unknown ingredient, allowing him to produce more of the
inhibitor, staying alive.
The formula for the Undead-Inhibitor is incomplete, however.
Firstly, the Undead Virus is technically incurable, and there is
no possible way of mass-producing the inhibitor. But also, Crow
WILL eventually become a zombie. The virus is definitely
embedded into his system. Crow's mission now is to carry on the
hopeless objective of aiding the Doctor with his research, with
no certainty that there IS a possible perfection. He lives a
life of danger and uncertainty, fighting for a goal that he may
never reach.
Skills: Full immunity to the "Zombie" Virus, intelligent and
creative, allowing him to escape many situations
Weaknesses: Can still be killed physically by zombies, skin
weakened after weeks of exposure to the infection, low immune
system
Enemies: None at the moment
Family: Unknown
Friends: The Doctor
Crushes/Couples: None at the moment

Physical Appearance: Kat is Russian all the way and honors her
culture. She has vibrant, dark green eyes and natural
dirty-blond hair that's always curled at the ends, as well as
full red lips and porcelain skin. Around her neck is a gold
chain with a heart pendant bejeweled with authentic emeralds,
this was given to her on her 15th birthday by her father, 3 days
before he passed away due to illness, she hasn't taken of the
necklace since.
Height: 5'4''
Describe your character: Kat is not your typical girl. She
speaks many languages and is quite the sniper. High school is
almost over and she can't wait to get into college to be a
surgeon. She has been studying book after book at the local
library where she met her boyfriend, Andrei. Rumor has it that
he's planning on proposing to her. Kat is still mourning after
her father's death and since her parents' divorce when she was
13, she has lost track of her mother. She lived with her brother
until her 18th birthday when Sergei decided to move to Iceland
with his new wife, Alana. Kat has the necessary survival skills
to live anywhere, it's as if her father has been preparing her
for something all her life. Now is her chance to finally make
herself known.
Skills: Fluent in 15 languages (Russian, English, Mandarin,
German, Japanese, French, Polish, Romanian, Spanish, Hindi,
Italian, Arabic, Turkish, Dutch, and the dead language: Latin),
extremely graceful, and shoots a gun well - especially a sniping
rifle (her father was in the KGB so she learned a few things,
including being a sniper)
Weakness: Her loved ones, she would do anything to protect them.
Enemies: None at the moment (unless you count that really
annoying bird outside her window that she really wants to kill)

Name: Her original name died with her mother when she was six
years old. She hadn't been called it since then, and has
forgotten that she ever had a true name.
Nickname: Shadow; sometimes Shade

Gender: F
Describe your character: She has long, jet-black hair which she
always keeps in a perfect bun or braid on the left side of her
head and pale skin. Nobody knows the color of her eyes; not even
her father remembers, as she's worn her grey-colored contacts to
hide her true identity from those who might seek to harm her for
eight years. Anyways, I made a cartoon of her, so I'll just give
your that instead of explaining it all:

Skills: Her skill with daggers is unrivaled, and it's impossible
to hear her sneaking up on you. She was born and raised in a
modern day guild of thieves, and she quickly surpassed all of
them in her skills.
Weaknesses: She doesn't exactly have a choice in her
silence--she's mute. People have a difficult time understanding
her meaning, as no one in the guild of thieves cared enough, or
knew enough, to teach her sign language.
Enemies: Anyone who used to be rich, before the "zombie"
apocalypse; after all, she's probably stolen from them quite a
few times.
Family: Her father is the leader of the thieves, and doesn't
care for her; her mother died protecting her. She has no other
relations that she knows of.
Friends: Shadow never really knew anyone except the other
thieves, and none of them were her friends. She's been living
alone, doing her best to survive since the apocalypse began.

Describe your character: Lily is a zombie. She is 5'4". She was
14 when she got infected and had to spend her birthday alone as
a zombie. When she was made a zombie, something didn't happen
right, and she can still think with her brain like a human.
Skills: For a zombie, she is very fast and can take a couple
hits before giving up.
Enemies: Anybody who wants to kill her. ( that sounds weird
since she is a zombie. ) And depending on her mood, Kat.
Family: Her mom and dad were killed by zombies, and she was an
only child.
Friends: Anybody who DOESN'T want to kill her. And Shadow.

Christian was sitting on his couch in the living room. His house
felt so... empty without his family. He checked his gun again,
just to make sure it was locked and loaded. He jumped when he
heard a thud on the door.
"Oh crap!"
(Flash back)
"M-mom?"
"Christian. Stay calm!"
His mom was on the phone with him. She sounded very calm for
being thrown into a zombie apocalypse. His stupid teachers
wouldn't let them leave for "safety issues". If Christian didn't
leave soon, he would be a safety issue.
"The teachers aren't letting us leave. I want to be home with
you and dad!"
"I know honey. I know. Just please stay calm... for my sake."
He sighed,"OK mom. Where can I meet you when they let us leave?"
She didn't reply very quickly. "Christian, you won't be leaving.
Stay there. Your father and I are going to drive over to the
school to get you."
"But, you can't! There are... things out there. They are
mindless freaks! Didn't you hear the radio broadcast? It's not
safe. I'll be fine, though. I'm 14. I can handle myself."
His mom sighed, "Please Chris. Just..." another sigh. "I love
you Christian. Don't you ever forget that."
"Mom... it's OK. I know that you love me. I love you too, with
all my heart. Why do you keep sighing?"
My mom choked up. "We... we have to leave you Chris!" She
started crying.
Christian sat there like a sack of useless potatoes. "M-mom?"
"Your father is," she paused to sob. "He's sick! He has a fever
and he started moaning. I'm scared Chris. We have to get him to
a hospital. Don't try to stop me. I've made up my mind."
"How will I-", Christian got cut off mid-sentence.
"I left all of the supplies that I could in the guest bedroom."
"Well-"
"Your tough, Chris, you said so yourself. You can survive! I
love you, but I have to go."
Before he could say anything else, his mom hung up.

When Chris was finally allowed to go home, he left in a hurry.
He only saw two crazy... things stumbling around. He avoided
them as best as possible. He saw his house in the distance. He
ran up to the door and shoved it open. He half wished, half
hoped, that his mom would come and welcome him home, just like
every other day. Only, this day was nothing like every other.
Before he did anything else, he turned on the TV. Static played.
The radio was more helpful. It said that the things were very
deadly. Take precautions, ration, shelter, yadda, yadda, ya. The
only important thing it mentioned was that the only way to kill
one of those monsters was with a head-shot. Killing one of those
things never occurred to Christian. He headed into the guest
bedroom and found supplies waiting for him, like promised. He
took a gun.

(Present)
The door thumped. He was terrified of what lay behind that door.
He had no idea how to use his gun. None! He peeked out the front
window. He sighed in relief when he saw nothing there. Suddenly,
a bloody hand hit the window.
"Sh**," he exclaimed. He shut the curtains and ran back to the
couch. He never wanted to look out through that window again.
(Sorry for that giant wall of text. :P Just had to give
Christian's back-story. Your post doesn't have to be this long
if you don't want it to be.)

[I'll put the character I'm currently playing as in bold at the
top of my posts.]
Crow
"Do no go outside. Stay indoors." the radios keeps saying. "Do
not go outside."
"I'm the only one of my kind" Crow though to himself. "I'm the
only one who can go outside."
He truly wishes he was not. For Crow, standing atop the 12 story
building, can see what no man wishes to see- a sight of pure
hopelessness. Every being below is an undead freak. He, himself,
is also an undead freak- but what separates himself from the
rest of the zombies is a couple of tubes filled with an
artificial inhibitor... and a little hope. Maybe, just maybe,
there is a way to stop this.
