[asdfdsadfsakdlfjgs why must the quality be so bad.
Anyways have a weirdly-paced and obviously declining quality

       Clementine
In my dreams she still doth haunt me,
Robed in garments soaked in brine.
Though in life I did once hold her,
In her death, I draw the line.
The shadow of a girl skipped through the streets in the dead of
night, careful to avoid the illumination of the gas lamps
dotting the sidewalks. Occasionally she'd let out a faint
giggle, an audible breath here and there, but for the most part
she made very little noise. She stopped for a second when the
clouds above her cleared up. The crescent moon looked down at
her, and she looked back up in defiance. She gave a longing
stare, and under her veil of darkness she creeped in a slight
       smile.

       Kelcie
Kelcie slowly walked into the academy looking at the newbies and
       remembering her first time.
My eighth year here, huh? It's been a long time... The first two
months were proving myself over and over again all those years
       back...
Argh... Anyways, this year with the newbies brings in a new
group of bullies and the mean type. They'll have to figure out
not to mess with me soon!
Kelcie walked into the courtyard and looked around.
Where is she? Didn't she say she'd be here only a few minutes
after me? I AM SO GOING TO KICK HER ASS IF SHE DOESN'T SHOW UP.
Kelcie stayed where she was, in the center, hoping that she
would be able to spot her.

       Mora
She watched birds. It was going to be a nice day. The breeze was
nice and calming, the birds flew above her, paving the way
towards another year at the same, familiar holding.
She continued staring up into the sky.

       Charlie
Charlie walked as fast as he could without transitioning into an
awkward jog. He couldn't help it. He'd spent the last few days
of his vacation being dragged from meeting to meeting with mage
tutors from the endless pool of instructors, and he was sick and
tired of it. He understood, of course, that as a member of the
Dwayne family, it was necessary to go above and beyond- the
academy curriculum was more than enough a grounding in magic for
the average student, or even the average noble, but he was
foremost among Lord Senlevon's lieutenants. Dwayne mages, as a
rule, were the cream of the crop.
What he couldn't understand was why his father insisted that the
biological magic he specialized in was "interesting, but not a
real specialty." He refused to view it as anything but an
amusing challenge, a way to pass the time, but to Charlie it was
his life. He lived and breathed the work that he did. Of course,
his father's attempts to sway him to a more "prestigious" field
bounced harmlessly off him- in all the conversations he'd had
with masters of this or that specialty, he would smile and nod
politely, but his mind was always on his birds. Of course, Mr.
Dwayne knew this, but his dignity as a family head and
acknowledgement of his son's talent had kept him silent on the
matter so far. It was still annoying.
Charlie headed to the office and received his program, smiling
and nodding and not really listening to the secretary's gushing
flattery of his noble family. People... so eager to lick a
higher-up's boots. I can't wait to be back with my flock...
maybe I'll try a different mating pattern this week, and rotate
them.... Can only have them reproduce so many times in a month.
Charlie took a glance at his program and grimaced. First up,
Recent Political History.... what a bore.

       Prologue
Roit. You've opened up my book, so I figure yer looking to read
about the misadventures of Nigel Colligan. That's wot the cover
says, roit? I betta double check that with that boneheaded
editor, make sure he doesn't bugger the whole thing up. Mister
Easton ain't the sharpest tool, see, so I gotta keep his head on
straight, othawise there's no telling wot kind of filthy lies
he'll write down in this book of mine. It's supposed to be
accurate, so if you find anything that doesn't make a 'ting of
sense then give me a call. Anyway, wi'ffout further adeu, here's
       how the whole thing stahted.
The Misadventures of Nigel Colligan- Chapter 1.
Nigel Colligan's story began with a 5 dollar coin, a loaf of
bred and a very confused staff member.
It was right at the border wall, separating the lower and middle
classes. There was an agent for the academy who did his daily
job of giving out confirmation letters to students as well as
other staff members. This agent was a complete and utter
airhead. While he was trying to figure out the maze that was the
lower-class's city layout, a dirty little boy pocketed his
satchel. By the time he'd turned around, the boy had already
bought a loaf of bread and was chewing on it in front of his
       face.
"H-hey!" The man grunted. "That's my satchel! Give it back, you
       little brat!"
"Your wot?" The boy spoke, with a surprisingly thick Coltish
accent. "Don't kid yeself. The satchel's mine, my ol' man gave
       it to me."
"Look at its bottom!" The man retorted in frustration. "Those
are my initials, NC! Nathan Carling!"
"Nathan Cah'ling?" The little boy simply laughed. "I'm no fool,
guvna. I'm Nigel Colligan. Nice try, though."
       "N-Nigel Colligan?!"
       "...Yeh?"
       "I'm d-deeply sorry, sir!"
Woteva, I'm down with it. Maybe he finks I'm some sort of go-
wait a bloody minute. That's the uniform for those academy
blokes. He must be here to give me that chimney sweeping job I
applied for the other week. Ah, these blokes were always overly
       loyal.
"Well you should be! Now I'm at least glad you know who I am."
"Here you go, sir!" He handed Nigel an envelope. The boy
snatched it hardly, then opened it. It mentioned the academy,
but the font was extremely formal. It was an invitation.
"Rather posh, but I'll take it." He roughly signed it and handed
it back. "I'll get to work by the first day. Toodaloo, guvna."
Nigel walked away with his hands in his pockets.

       Cahaya
Cahaya stretched his arms as he walked into the school, nodding
at his friends as he walked through the courtyard. He stopped
suddenly as he noticed someone in front of him, who was standing
stationary despite the crowd moving around her.
"Hey, you might want to think about moving somewhere else. If
you stay here someone's gonna run you over!" He grinned.
       "Name's Cahaya. Cahaya Tugas."
       ((That is Kelcie))
       Dr. Praga
Dr. Praga trudged outside and walked to the grocery store,
mindlessly getting the same products he got every Monday.
The grocer smiled widely. "Hi, how ya doin'?"
Dr. Praga grimaced, but after a few seconds, he replied.
"More... people around today than usual."
"Oh, yeah! The school year's starting today! It'll be nice to
see so many fresh young faces around."
"That's headed by... Lord Senlevon, correct?"
       "Yes..."
Dr. Praga quickly collected his goods and walked out the door,
grinding his teeth. Someday... someday, I'll kill him.

       Grim Reaper
Basir focused intensely on his paperwork. He had strong
self-discipline, and nothing would halt his working frenzy.
Basir heard the taupe door creak as a large foot stepped
through. Based on the hulking size of the foot and the putrid
odor emanating from it, Basir knew it was Crane.
Crane lugged his oafish body into Basir's office. His tangled,
untidy hair was already being used as a nest for flies. If you
had taken one look at Crane, you would've assumed he was hit by
a landslide. That's how dirty he is.
"You animal! Don't you ever bother taking a shower? Of course
not... Get your revolting mass to your office before you turn my
office into a breeding ground for pests!" Basir stated.
"Yo, to ye also. Methinks someone be missin' their daily spiced
       rum!" Crane retorted.
It had taken Basir a significant period of time to understand
Crane's manner of speaking: shakespearean, ebonics, and pirate.
In summary, Crane thought Basir was missing his daily coffee.
"Right here." Basir stated, casually taking a sip of his coffee.
"Th' lads 'n ladies be headin' to th' academy. Lord Senlemon's,
       ain't it?" Crane joked.
       "That's not funny." Basir stated.
"No needeth to beest so grim, me bucko." Crane stated, then he
started to cough incessantly. Basir managed to make out the word
       'hospital'.
"Go down to the nurse's office." A skeptical Basir stated. Crane
did just that. Anything to get that oaf out of my office.

       Lady Vincolo
Lady Vincolo dragged slowly on a cigarette, smiling at the
slightly nervous look of the noblewoman in front of her. They
were dining at an expensive restaurant, and she was paying for
everything – although Lady Vincolo probably could have bought
the whole restaurant comfortably if she desired. The woman –
heiress to the Estre family, one of the ten richest women in
Yezin, soon-to-be wife to some foreign prince in a diplomatic
       exchange – began to speak.
"I'm hopi – I'm sure you can keep this under wraps, if you know
       what I mean."
Lady Vincolo kept her expression neutral, but she felt like
laughing. "Of course, dear. I knew that from the moment I
       walked into this."
The other woman's face darkened for a moment. She seemed to be
brooding. Lady Vincolo sighed and tapped her finger on her
earring. The woman's expression froze, then softened. "I'm
       sure it's all right."
Lady Vincolo smiled, then stood up. "This has been fun. I'll
       get in touch with you."
       "Are you sure that's a–"
"Honey, I'm an expert at misdirection. If the Crown Prince
himself were to find our letters I'd have him convinced I was
your maid or something in fifteen minutes. Don't worry."
She walked out the store and smiled. Those letters, along with
some other choice material she'd collected, would be enough to
ensure her a firm foothold in the Estre family's politics. Or
maybe I'll just leak it... I don't really need to go
international anyway, and just imagine the diplomatic tensions!
If I'm lucky, they might even declare war...

       Kelcie
Katie surveyed the person who had just talked to her. She
decided that he seemed pretty nice, but she was irritated with
what he had said to her. Well mostly irritated with the fact
that she was shorter than him ((Keep in mind that Kelcie is a
little height sensitive, but she doesn't seem to be like that))
He seemed nice, so she decided to actually listen to what he was
       saying.
"Kelcie Cirlay, pretty sure you've heard at least one rumor
about me." Kelcie responded still surveying Cahaya to see if he
was just faking the niceness, people had a tendency to do that.
She hoped that if Cahaya knew who she was, he would realize that
       she knew quite well.
       Katie Lau
Katie rushed into the academy with her black robes flying behind
her, she had just thrown it on to look a little more formal and
       assistantish
I'm late and all these stupid kids are in the way waddling
around like penguins! Why did I get this job anyways...? Well it
was so that I could just have a job and get some respect and
money so that I could kill one -no, a few of those snobby nobles
       and not be suspected...
When she finally got past the large crowd and made it into the
office, Katie pulled out her envelope that she had received in
       the mail.
       "Room 33, that's the room you're in."
