Hi there, and I need some ideas for a new game on Gamestar
Mechanic that could get featured! (Note: If this doesn't belong
here, sorry, I'm new.)

I have a few ideas, but i'd like to point out that it is not
because of the game idea that someone gets featured. Most games
get featured because they have an interesting or unique
storyline, a new and fun game concept, or it addresses an
important issue/topic. Part of creating a great game is to have
proper spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and some amazing
visuals. Here are some game ideas that may work well for you:
The Never-ending - A story where the main character is forced to
relive the same day over and over again. The main idea is that
the gamer has to find the person who is responsible while
playing as the main character.
The Circus of Giggles - A nonsensical game where you play as
Giggles the Clown and try to figure out who is stealing all the
animals. (this would be a great game to focus on visuals)
Decidedly Lost- A game where the main character, after running
away, finds that they're lost in a forest. This would be
interesting game to use a lot of platformer gameplay on as the
main character tries to find a way home.
I may add more game ideas later, but this should be sufficient
for now, right?

I don't have any ideas off the top of my head, but take
inspiration from random things that you see and make a story.
One of the most popular themes there on Gamestar involves a war,
usually between the schools about something. The reason is
always different when you look from gamer to game, though.
((I seriously need to finish the full version of Fitnestia
War... I said I would do it when I got 100 followers, which I
have...))

I may not be the best source for ideas, however here's some
advice
-If you have a story game make sure you're spelling/grammar is
all correct and your story makes sense
-Play your own game a lot. Would you like it if you hadn't made
it? If the answer is no, don't publish it.
-Pay attention to visuals, they mean a lot. A really bad game
that looks amazing is almost redeemable.
Good luck!

Some great game topics include:
Difficulty: keep your game difficult, but not too hard!
Everybody likes a nice game with ascending/descending
difficulty!
Story: Story games are some of the best games, if you can make
an amazing story people will be stuck on the game, and wanting
to play it over and over!
Punctuation: Make sure that you spell stuff correctly, sometimes
typos can cause misunderstandings!
Game play: Every game NEEDS a bit of game play, This is probably
the most important part of a game! Make fun, interesting and
challenging game play and it will become a fun game to play!
That's all I have for now. There are a lot of amazing GSM people
on here like Iaashadow, Nitrox116, Leaping-Deer, Elephants4Ever,
FlyingForever, Zenwarrior54 and more! These people have been on
GSM for the longest of times and are the most experienced! Also,
GSM challenges with some good sprites like the Spooky Challenge
and the Wild, Wild, West have some great gameplay and you should
use them for your games all the time!
