By placing ourselves in the broader context of all those others.
That personal network to which we are connected with fallible,
vulnerable people who just do their best, in whom we dare to
rely, just as well as ourselves. More about the book You are
enough already You are enough already In the last chapter you
can read how Launspach also has more structural and macro-level
advice, since that addresses the cause of pressure and stress.
In education, work and big tech, adjustments can make the lives

better. That is something that takes
longer and requires efforts from more people. A call to all of
us to exert influence where we can and to expand that influence.
Incidentally, this is a concrete approach to 'the crazy world'
as it is referred to in the subtitle of the book. The only thing
in the book that I feel hesitant about: does it help if you
think the world is 'disturbed'? Isn't the world, whatever you
mean by it, just that: the world. Launspach refers to helpful
advice from the Stoics, which may help to see things for what
they are. No more and no less. Just as it is also very valuable
if you can look at yourself in this way: for what it is and that
is enough.

PS As a productivity book author and trainer, of course, as in
4,000 weeks, I feel addressed when there is criticism of
productivity books and what Launspach calls "self-pulp." It is
an incentive to keep checking whether advice really works and
helps or is self-aggrandizement. For what it's worth I'd like to
quote David Allen, whose Getting Things Done. The art of
stress-free productivity I use a lot: It is about where you are.
Not about where you should beYou can't keep working 100%
concentrated all day long. Sometimes you need a moment to blow
off steam, clear your mind or stretch your legs. This applies
not only to you, but to your entire team. That's why I put 5 fun
team games in a row.
