Gamer Dads Clan Matches

Have seen the thread running on Clan matches and understand
everyones feelings about them (perhaps) becoming a little too
serious and going against the ethos of the whole gamerDad idea.
Is it possible, therefore, to have an inter GmaerDads clan
competition type thing. One night a week could be set aside for
this, different game type each week, core, hardcore and
barebones included. Could be done in private party if necessary.
Just a thought......anyone up for it?
N.B. I don't mind collating scores/winners etc.... Wineers at
the end get....nothing!!!!

I'd definitely be interested mate. I love the clan match idea
but hate how serious it all is, so this sounds good. count me in

CoD Wars light? I think the biggest problem with this is getting
so many people together at once. Not so bad if its just 4 on 4
for example, but the bigger the teams, the harder it gets.
People are busy, they can't always snag the family tv etc. I
tend to play after 11pm, others only play up to 10pm. When CoD
Wars teams were announced, I tried to get ours together just
once over a two week period for a practice and couldn't even
manage that!
Sorry if I seem negative but it's just a logistical nightmare.

Yes, xbox and COD...at the minute, but could be extended to
Gears, Battlefield, Ghost Recon...I just think I will be able to
collate everything so would need help there.
Understand the timing thing.......might be easier to have one
week to complete matches (announced Sunday pm and you have until
following Saturday to complete) or clans of 8 so the clan can at
least get the game completed.
I am open to any and all ideas.

In a way we kind of do this every gamer night, but with
something as simple as keeping thr same teams through the night
could add a little competition,
Could try this on Tuesday if everyons up for it

Might need more than one host though Gemmel as I have a feeling
there could be several clans around.
One idea is to have game of 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5 with someone
independent hosting and observing - no host advantage.

Hi guys. I have a little experience in this and would strongly
advise you to do this on one night of the week at a set time.
Fifa Leagues work Ok as its individuals but getting 2 teams
together at a random time /day is really really hard.
Having a set time day members can make a judgement on if they
could attend but again there should still be no pressure to join
every week and certainly no pressure put on anyone by there team
to join all the time. Most will want to but as always life can
sometimes get in the way.
Maybe you could trial it on Blops ready for MW3?
Maybe a MW3 fun night and a seperate night for MW3 teams
