Resistance 3

Impressions.
Ok, we know it's broken, but beta's normally are.
Anyway, that aside, the game is fantastic. Managed to find a few
games last night and enjoyed them immensely. Although I've had
this game on pre-order for quite some time, I was still
undecided on whether that would still be the case as release go
closer. Resistance 2 multiplayer was terrible, I hated
everything about it and sort of expected this to be the same.
But it appears they've gone back to basics and started again.
So glad they did because it's turned out brilliantly. It feels
nothing like other FPS's with the way the characters seem to bob
about and the guns have a good feeling to them (the few I've
tried anyway). Seems to take a long time to kill someone, which
seems strange at first, but quite refreshing after a bit. I've
survived attacks a few times and then killed the other player,
knowing it's not lag is good.
Impressed enough to leave it on ore-order so that can't be a bad
thing.

Away now for a few days, so won't get to it until next week, but
I actually loved the R2 multiplayer, so looking forward to this.

R2 multiplayer was a fragfest carnage. Everyone seemed to be in
the same place all the time just throwing grenades everywhere.
Also it seemed like it was on speed!

I thought the same of R2 as you`d spawn on your team so if you
were winning you`d just keep rolling over the opposing team that
being said I never really played it much ???

I'll try.
After many attempts at getting in a game today, only to be put
in on my own at the completion screen and left with no choice
but to quit the game and start again, I finally discovered that
if you pick 'anything' you get put in a game pretty quickly.
Just and an hour of both modes and really enjoyed it. Some
people seem to have a lot better guns than me at minute, but
that's normal. More time on it and I'll have a decent gun at
some point.

Got to say i`m really liking it :)
but i`ve always been a bit of a resistance fan.
Baz don`t know if you`ve noticed but if you get a bit of a kill
streak going, thats when other weapons open up for use, only to
lose it again when you get killed :D
then your back to your original setup >:(
Def a game i`ll be getting when it comes out ;)

Ah right, I've only had as high as a 3 killstreak which gives
you the assault shield. Guess I should use that quicker to get
another couple if kills.

There's been another patch for this in the last day or two and
it seems to be working a lot better now. When matchmaking I can
choose the mode I actually want to play without it freezing up
on me.
Really enjoying this and can't wait for the 9th September to
come!
