Xbox just did a fairly lengthy update yesterday evening,
although no indications as to what it was for... anyone have any
ideas ? ???

Someone did tweet a link yesterday but i didn't read it. What i
did read somewhere was that it was a precursor to a major update
coming in the future.

Yes, it didn`t contain any new features but was just some code
that will set the Xbox up for future improvements later.

Yeah the update did nothing pyhsical or visual its was to get
the console ready for the autumn dashboard update according to
Major Nelsons Blog

It added the ability to be able to remove CC and to perform
licence transfers. As well as being the precurser mentioned for
the new disc update.
